Not banning Gyzarus because it would hurt GBs is not a valid argument. Sleepy's list's a step in the right direction if we're to compare it to previous ones here, but I still wouldn't agree with any of the newly Limited or Semi-Limited choices and would like to see more banning and redistribution of already Limited/Semi-Limited cards and the ones which you newly banned. Stratos and Night Assailant're Limited and Malicious's Semi-Limited because they interact with eachother in ways in which they become annoying. Oh and Storm's Unlimited because Spells and Traps can be played en masse and are fundamentally different and all. You don't only not loose any card advantage from using it as it activates while resting in the Graveyard' date=' but unlike other card effects that activate while resting in the Graveyard but are not listed here, this card makes a conciderable difference as it magically pops up giant beatsticks. (New Ritual Spells are barely a 1 turn/1 shot defense, Necro Gardna is not broken either as it only negates 1 attack 1 time, Ritual Fiends are for Rituals, a game mechanic that is itself a - ,etc). Also, card effects with discarding costs for balance now can be taken advantage of, pretty much canceling a cost that was meant to be a cost.[/color']You can only use Vayu's effect once. Also their are many cards that you want in the grave, so the whole last part of your reasoning is void. Also Dark Creator can do something similar so why not ban that. -Elemental Hero Stratos It looks like this card and its ability to search for cards like Plasma and Malicious' date=' which where previewsly un-searchable by any other means, as well as the fact that this card is relatively searchable itself, is part of the reason why this card is limited. Its key to a draw/search engine that is not nessesarily just a draw/search engine. Also, either way you look at it, its an easy + effect, whether you search or destroy. It gives me the air that he influenced to the limitation of Rainforcements of the Army too, a card that is in no way broken. Besides, E-Heros are still on the make, I'm sure if this was banned, it could/would be replaced eventually. [/color']It's limited on a good list for one reason, you can keep searching out more Stratos. Alos Gadgets are easy plus effect. RofA is limited because the people making the ban list have no idea what they are doing. If you are using Konami logic, fine, but you aren't as such any changes are made with out looking at the current ban list and the stupid actions that have been made with it. -Burial from a Different Dimention Due to its easy splashability and chainability' date=' and the cards it can interact with. Recycles Mezuki, Vayu, Necro Gardna, Plaguespreader, Malicious(this one if you can put the other one back in the Deck), etc, and some of its targets already hurt the game by themselves. I would say its effect is not the problem by itself as much, but its targets, but just to try and see what happens.[/color']First 2 you have banned. Third doesn't have great impact. Forth has can only get it's effect at a cost. Fifth one can argue to go to 1. If the targets are the problem remove the targets. Also if this is so bad why 1? -Black Wirlwind Its not bad to have search effects for specific archtypes' date=' the problem is when the search is continous unlike with RotA. Although after you used the card the first time you get an extra monster, you will have no extra use for this card for the remainer of the turn, after that 1 time it starts to only be +, + and +. The ammount of advantage it gets is not reasonbable and it can search for pretty much any BW in the same way Witch of the Black Forest can search for most things in most Decks. If used in 3s like now, the advantage is ridiculous. At 1 is still the temporal search for BW until something more balanced comes (although it should be in the banned section rather than limited to tell the truth)[/color']So ban it. don't keep broken cards around because lossing them will hurt an archtype. If they can't make do with out said broken card who cares. -Charge of the Light Brigade If you forget about the milling part of the archtype' date=' depending on luck is another drawback for Lightsworns. This card adds a lot more concistency to the top tier Deck based on luck, and increasing its lucky chance of winning faster basically. Having it or not has made a difference in the Decks I've seen around (at least, before vacations :P ). It gives OTK potensial. I put it in Limited to see what people would tell me.[/color']Are you using Konami logic? This is something they would do. If anything this removes luck from LS which is what we want. And it doesn't matter if LS are good, being good isn't a crime. LS has 3 problem cards 1 of which totally breaks that archtype. Ban those and not the card that simply gets them to your hand. -Rekindling Another instant massive card advantage gaining effect. In the right Deck' date=' you will get up to the materials to 2.5 Synchro Summons with 1 card and will do it relatively concistently. I'll emphasise [b']in the right Deck[/b] before I get a reply just to point out that theme specific support doesn't mean it can't be broken.Why isn't this banned then? -Celestia' date=' Lightsworn Angel[/b'] I don't actually have solid prove that comes to mind for Cyber Dragon and Celestia at the moment, instead I'll just wait for someone to give me their reasoning as to why they agree/don't agree. There aren't many reasons to justify a Semi-limit as much as there are for limit/banning.you put them there, as such it is up to you to say why you made those moves. He just pushes them from an amazing Deck to top-tier. Celesta is a really good card' date=' but the deck would still be in tier 2 or 3 if it wasn't for the Judgment Dragon since then they would mill for no reason unless it was a Hybrid like Zombie Sworn or Twilight. But if they have 1, then i guess it'll still be in the top tier range, just seems a lot worse. Lol, cyber dragons would be way too broken. Lot of people will start running at least 2...and they're as strong as Wulf, and it's Light. -,- 2 would be reasonable if konami were to do something with it though.[/quote'] So your goal is to just go around killing Decks you find "annoying" as opposed to shaping a skill format? Uh no. With my changes that i posted, I'm not trying to ruin any deck. I don't think JD has to be limited, so I'm not trying to ruin that deck, since its the star card of the deck. Honest I think has to go, I mean they did the same when they limited "gale", honest might be used in other light decks too. I think my changes are balanced, at least GB's get get back into the game and put more skill and thought into siding against them.As well as lightsworn not being too good as it will grow to be very numerous in numbers. I don't understand why you unlimited all the exodia's arms and legs but you banned exodia's head...that's dumb. If you want to ban it, just ban the head as well. I couldn't think of any good fusions at the top of my head except absolute zero, and I didn't think any fusion would allow good dumps besides Giga Vise decks. I should take it out then. Dang and I just checked out Worm Zero, never knew about that card o,o @genzo: Lol, I guess you have a point about that, there is no reason to get the other parts banned. But it's wierd since you could just ban any other part and let the other ones free. Exodia's not really broken at all, just a casual otk, so i dont think it deserves a ban. When Spells and Traps have no drawbacks in activating them and we're frowning upon having no drawbacks in throwing down monsters, cards like Smashing Ground, Fissure, and Trap Holes are bad for the game. I should probably ban Grand Mole here anyway though, as it takes minimal skill and nets massive field presence. I'd also somehow missed the Creators or subconsciously thought they weren't a problem when viewing the list of revival, but yeah, thinking about it, I'll ban them too. 26 more cards banned. It punishes your opponent for outdeveloping you and the burn can easily win the game, which, despite its heavy set-up, can in the end do much more than enough to compensate. (New Ritual Spells are barely a 1 turn/1 shot defense, Necro Gardna is not broken either as it only negates 1 attack 1 time, Ritual Fiends are for Rituals, a game mechanic that is itself a - ,etc). Also, card effects with discarding costs for balance now can be taken advantage of, pretty much canceling a cost that was meant to be a cost.[/color']You can only use Vayu's effect once. Also their are many cards that you want in the grave, so the whole last part of your reasoning is void. Also Dark Creator can do something similar so why not ban that.Similar=/=equalThat heavy monster won't OTK too often -Elemental Hero Stratos It looks like this card and its ability to search for cards like Plasma and Malicious' date=' which where previewsly un-searchable by any other means, as well as the fact that this card is relatively searchable itself, is part of the reason why this card is limited. Its key to a draw/search engine that is not nessesarily just a draw/search engine. Also, either way you look at it, its an easy + effect, whether you search or destroy. It gives me the air that he influenced to the limitation of Rainforcements of the Army too, a card that is in no way broken. Besides, E-Heros are still on the make, I'm sure if this was banned, it could/would be replaced eventually. [/color']It's limited on a good list for one reason, you can keep searching out more Stratos. Alos Gadgets are easy plus effect. RofA is limited because the people making the ban list have no idea what they are doing. Forth has can only get it's effect at a cost. Fifth one can argue to go to 1. If the targets are the problem remove the targets. I'm going to unlimit this one -Black Wirlwind Its not bad to have search effects for specific archtypes' date=' the problem is when the search is continous unlike with RotA. Although after you used the card the first time you get an extra monster, you will have no extra use for this card for the remainer of the turn, after that 1 time it starts to only be +, + and +. The ammount of advantage it gets is not reasonbable and it can search for pretty much any BW in the same way Witch of the Black Forest can search for most things in most Decks. If used in 3s like now, the advantage is ridiculous. At 1 is still the temporal search for BW until something more balanced comes (although it should be in the banned section rather than limited to tell the truth)[/color']So ban it. don't keep broken cards around because lossing them will hurt an archtype. If they can't make do with out said broken card who cares.I'll take this point. Not sure if I banned it at first but I've been changing and taking suggestions without really saying anything. -Charge of the Light Brigade If you forget about the milling part of the archtype' date=' depending on luck is another drawback for Lightsworns. This card adds a lot more concistency to the top tier Deck based on luck, and increasing its lucky chance of winning faster basically. Having it or not has made a difference in the Decks I've seen around (at least, before vacations :P ). It gives OTK potensial. I put it in Limited to see what people would tell me.[/color']Are you using Konami logic? This is something they would do. If anything this removes luck from LS which is what we want. And it doesn't matter if LS are good, being good isn't a crime. LS has 3 problem cards 1 of which totally breaks that archtype. Ban those and not the card that simply gets them to your hand.I'll take this point. -Rekindling Another instant massive card advantage gaining effect. In the right Deck' date=' you will get up to the materials to 2.5 Synchro Summons with 1 card and will do it relatively concistently.
