[/quote] Pos is basically an altered solution of Neg that results from an exposure to the Positive energy given off by the Mods and their followers. So moreso the latter but instead of just absorbing it converts the life energy into Neg and propagates to a certain point resulting in a reverse effect of Neg. Neg absorbs energy and refines it, expelling out weakness as a sortof toxic presence, so Proto creates energy and absorbs trash like elements. He makes friends with relative ease but really gaining his trust is hard. Though once someone has gained his trust he is remarkably loyal. He speaks quite properly for someone as young as he is and is often quite considerate in what he says. However there are times where, for reasons even he can't really explain, something really angers him. And when he's angry, he let's the person he's angry at know. With brutal sarcasm and constant insults, it's quite obvious when he doesn't like someone. Andx is quite intelligent and considerate and gets angry quickly when others don't meet the standards that he believes are easy to meet. On his own, Andx is quite introverted. He prefers to think to himself and comment on what goes on around him. Inside he gets angry quite frequently but he knows he can't show it. He keeps a lot of emotion suppressed, probably more than he should. Andx isn't sure just how good of friends he is with most people. A lot of times he thinks about how he knows a lot of people, but doesn't seem really close to any of them. Andx is also quite critical of people and often makes very quick judgements of them. Anyone who quickly annoys him or is stupid in his view quickly gets judged as "a waste of a person" and it takes a bit for Andx to reverse that judgement. Andx is quite analytical of any situation and logic moves him more than emotion. Not that he can't be moved emotionally he just doesn't like it and tries to stop it from happening. Still he can get quite passionate about things. [spoiler=[b]Bio:[/b]] Andx was born Andrew Hargan and was born to a basic middle class family. He was the third child of four in the family and got along rather well with all of his siblings. Though his older brothers did have some issues so Andx was technically the first normal child to be born to the family and his little sister the second. At least he thought he was the first normal child in the family. It wasn't obvious at first but Andx as a young child could have sworn there were instances where his face seemed to change a little. But it was always so minor he dismissed it. When he was eight he fully transformed into a completely different appearance. After that was when things got difficult. Everyone in his family, except his little sister, started hating him. It seemed anything that was wrong with your child was acceptable, except for the transformation power. Before Andx knew what was happening his parents stopped caring about him, they made him eat separately and in his room, even his neighbors stopped talking to him. When he went to school it wasn't any better. The children were regularly taught to hate the people with the transformation power and the teachers would always point him out as an example of who to hate. As a result no one at school ever associated with him, at least to be his friends. Andx had been raised to be polite and considerate but as he was also intelligent he saw serious contradictions in what his parents had taught him and what they and others around him did. He started becoming very angry around age fourteen when his powers were finally fully under his control. He hated his family, except his little sister but he wasn't allowed to ever see her. He hated his neighbors, he hated everyone he knew because they hated him with absolutely no logical reasoning. Andx put up with the hatred for a single year more and then on his fifteenth birthday he left his home with only a letter left mostly addressed to his sister. Andx hated leaving his sister but couldn't stand how his life had turned out as of yet. He quickly abandoned the name Andrew and took on the name Andx. The x represented how he had crossed out sections of his name, specifically "rew Hargan". With that he rejected his family, his past, essentially his life until that point. He wandered around wondering where to go. Before too long his search was over. He encountered another person, who called himself Black, and managed to befriend him. From there Black continued to search for others to join him. As time passed Andx and Black became better and better friends and more people came to their group. Andx had finally found a group who would accept him and he in turn accepted them as his new family. As such he's more than willing to fight to protect them and to help Black accomplish his aims in life. When it hits, a swarm of painful bubbles pop and crack, destroying all within. -Thunder Blade: A sword of lightning smashes into the ground, and then explodes, releasing its charged material. -Infernal Prison: A glyph appears and fiery jets blare up all around, scorching those within. -Absolute: The area below the opponent turns white and then ice forms up around them. It then snaps and falls apart at once. Not fatal under most conditions but still painful to be exposed to such low temperatures for even a short time. -Prism Sword: Many sharp shards of crystal land to form a binding glass-like prison, until the coup de grace comes crashing on the construct. -Meteor Storm: Roughly ten meteors about eight feet in diameter rain down at random. No hits are assured, best used in a group so at least one person will get hit. [/spoiler] 2.) An ability to manipulate metal magically. Limited to fixing weapons or turning scrap metal into a replacement knife. 3.) Limited barrier creation. He can create a flat barrier in front of himself from magic that can take about two to three hits without breaking. After it's up for five seconds it fades away. [b]Weapons:[/b] -A spear. The weapon is not seen on Andx's person. It's molecules are broken down by magic and stored among the molecules of his right arm. When he wants to use it, the spear will reappear in his hand. -A knife with a very thin wire attached. The knife itself isn't much of a threat. But any sort of spell that hits it fills the wire with the spells energy. Due to how conductive the wire is the energy becomes much stronger and more painful for the opponent should they be touching it. [b]Fighting Style:[/b] In this form Andx much prefers to stay put and defeat an opponent from a distance. The spells are quite powerful but not always easy to hit with. If the opponent does get close, Andx does have his spear and his knife. But mostly he will try to stay away and cast spells. Animal instincts interfere with rational thought a bit in this form and he behaves quite a lot like a normal dog. As a result, Andx is only comfortable around people he knows well, will try to avoid people he knows but doesn't like, and will get aggressive around people he doesn't know. He'll show/take affection to/from people he likes but makes it very clear when he doesn't want someone touching him or when he doesn't want anything to do with a person. [b]Abilities:[/b] Really only one ability to speak of. [spoiler=Fighting techniques] For simplicity's sake, I got these from an FAQ that listed his techniques and used the official descriptions. I was too lazy to go in and replace all the times it said Repede with Andx. Sonic Dog Description: Repede dashes forward quickly, damaging the enemy with sonic ripples. Crescent Fang Description: Repede backflips and attacks the enemy with his tail, creating a crescent slash. Punishing Fang Description: Repede spins violently in place, damaging enemies near him with wind shear. Falling Leaf Description: Repede will move quickly to get behind enemies. Shadow Fang Description: Repede will attack the enemy in a flurry of slashes. Demon Dog Description: Repede launches a ground projectile to attack enemies. Shining Dog Description: Repede attacks enemies with a growing whirlwind. Sonic Return Description: Repede does a stronger verion of Sonic Dog, then jumps backward. Light Spear Description: Repede damages the enemy by spiraling upward with his weapon. Hell Hound Description: Repede will jump in the air and launch a fireball diagonally downwards. Phantom Fang Description: Repede will take a defensive stance and if an enemies get close to him will get damaged by a rising stalagmite. Cyclone Shot Description: Repede spirals diagonally upwards extremely fast like a rocket. Ghost Wolf Description: Repede will slash quickly through the enemy. Lightning Dog Description: Repede dashes forward quickly, damaging the enemy with sonic ripples, and then damages it with a lightning bolt. Kokuu Ressenga Description: Repede spins violently while jumping forward, damaging enemies near him with wind shear. Snatch Item Description: Repede attacks with his weapon once, then attempts to steal an item from an enemy. Hiyou Ryuusuijin Description: Repede will move quickly to get behind enemies, then damage them with a water elemental slash from behind. Demon Dog Rush Description: Repede launches a ground projectile to attack enemies, and if it connects, will pursue the enemy with a rushing slash. Fierce Demon Fang Description: Repede front flips and slams his weapon into the ground, creating a small shockwave. Sonic Fang Description: Repede attacks the enemy by spiraling into him like a drill. Victory Light Spear Description: Repede damages the enemy by spiraling upward with his weapon, then slashes while falling diagonally downwards. Phantom Glacier Description: Repede will take a defensive stance and if an enemies get close to him will get damaged by a rising glacier. Beast Blow Description: Repede rises forward with a vertical shockwave. Overlimit Burst Artes Description: In Overlimit, a blue aura appears around Andx. He doesn't flinch when he takes injuries. While in this state he is able to use the attacks shown in [url=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pV0u2N5jtOo]this video[/url] from 1:00 to 1:30 and all his other techniques become faster and a bit stronger. After using 2-3 of these attacks the whole technique ends, leaving Andx drained. [/spoiler] With his attacks come a capability for high speed movement and impressive jumps. [b]Weapons:[/b] The dagger shown in the picture is his only weapon. [b]Fighting Style:[/b] In this form, Andx fights fast and tries to hit the opponent as much as he can. Despite being a dog in the form, he can get the enemy into the air an continue to punish them. [b]Abilities:[/b] -Resolve: This will only activate once Andx has been injured. When it does activate, Andx's skin and overall defense increases by a factor of two as does his physical strength. -Adept: A special aura envelopes Andx's sword. Should a hit be landed the aura will make a second attack right afterwards, producing the same damage as a sword landing a blow. In the event the first attack is guarded the second will still come but will most likely be guarded. -Astra: A special technique. It's a five part combo and all five hits will land if the initial blow does. It involves four slashes at the opponent finished by a dashing attack with a jump into the air back to his starting position. The last blow if the most powerful. -Speed: Andx is able to move at high speeds in this form and is quite acrobatic in his movements. [b]Weapons:[/b] -Tempest Blade: This sword can be used like any normal blade. However it also possesses the ability to launch a magic blade of wind for ranged attack. -Killing Edge: A sword that is particularly sharp. It's made to be used in a fast paced style and tends to leave cuts that are deeper than normal. [b]Fighting Style:[/b] In this form Andx fights fast and hits hard. He tries to never stay in one place long so as to never give his opponent a chance to land a hit on him. Should he take some hits that actually works to his benefit unless the injuries on his legs. Setting the picture on the coffee tabel I sigh, "That is RP820 and I dare say it has been my home away from home since I got my admittance into Forum. I think it was Tainted Black who actually told me about it, but its been so long I honestly can't remember exactly who told me about it, but never the less I joined up and was immediately accepted. Hmmm?!" Looking up the man is coughing as I stand up and hand him a glass of water, which he takes thankfully and downs it in three gulps before resting it on the coffee table. Motioning for me to continue, I do, "Yeah I have been there from the Advance clause War to the YCMaker War . . . I even remained after the initial New Forum War when Glitch resurfaced. This is what peeked my interests to seek out and study Glitch, to discover and reveal the absolute truth about him- err . . . it." Standing up I trot towards the door before activating my ability of transformation, which is unique to Cirque Du Mask, but not something I accuired from joining them; it appeared that I had the ability all along and am a natural at it. Shifting my form into that of a personal favorite my hair becomes a dark shade of red that mixes in with my already saccloth black hair while the coloring of my pupils bnecomes a deep blood red; my teth beocming fanged and jagged. Turning I watch as the man recording my story clutches his chest before toppeling over to the ground, dead. Lifting my red broad rimmed hat I put on a pair of red glasses as the man begins to vanish into the glitch codes he was made up of, "But I think I've waisted enough time talking to some annoying glitch . . ." These two swords are actually two characters which had been given life during the massive chaos of the war. Also due to Jake's innate ability to shif this form he can not only transform into the two forms below, which he was granted upon joining RP820, but into any number of personalized characters which he himself had created. However these personalized transformations are not as nearly powerful as his Cirque Transformations, they stiull allow him an uncountable number of combinations which he can us; yet these transformations can last up to 24 hours. But it was odd, during the time which New Forum had been created Jake was already off on his exploration of the web and never had a chance to participate in the New Forum War nor did he ever catch a glimpse of thie 'Glitch' which had been sealed away. Why is almost every character on your side more powerful than my entire side combined? That's not a good thing btw. And what's up with the loopholes, you cannot have shapeshifting as one of your powers. That's cheating. You have a limited amount of forms, if one of those forms have unlimited shapeshifting it nullifies the limit and makes it pointless. [/quote] I believe the app size for Black's side is making things deceptive. In the RP of course no side is going to be overwhelmingly stronger than another. However much the apps seem to be making that the case Black, and I'm sure everyone else, won't allow that to actually happen. @Jake: You know that each form only gets 3-5 abilities right? And yet you have Alucard with 7, and 7 overpowered ones I might add. @Shadow: The fact is if anyone raises a valid point about things that seem overpowered, the idea of limiting that power should be considered. That said, I wish to restate that I will not be doing anything that is considered G-Mod, although if there is something in a post of mine that appears to be a G-Mod, then anyone is more then welcome to bring it up to me and state as to why. However, that is not a blanket permission to criticize each and every one of my posts when things are not going the way you would like them to go in a fight, like with what ~cherry~ (formerly Zeonark) did towards the end of the last war. And as I said in RP 820, having that power is central to my character due to a descnendcy thing or whatever you call it. It's something that's in his bloodline. Final Fantasy Revolution Posted August 30, 2010 Report Share Posted August 30, 2010 Name of Character: Felix “Biggs” Johnson Gender: Male Appearance: Felix has long and shaggy brown hair that he refuses to cut, wash, or even brush. The top of his head and most of his face is covered by a helm he crafted from an antelope’s skull; it is a complete helm with two fully grown horns. His eyes and mouth are really the only things you can see on his face, his mouth is always in a frown and his eyes are ice blue; making his cold stare that more vicious. Felix never wears a shirt on his upper body; instead he wears a tattered and battle-worn green robe that drapes down a little past his knees and covers his arms completely accept for his hands. On the lower portion of his body he wears jet black pants that seem to be made out of a thicker and more durable material then standards cloths, he doesn’t wear any kind of footwear. Felix has a good muscular figure and seems to be a well fit person, as seen by his daily exercise routine and twenty mile run in the morning. Personality: Felix, at first, seems to be the cold and insensitive type of person, but when you dig deeper; you find this to be exactly the truth… Felix cares for no one but himself, and really doesn’t give a damn about this stupid war going on. His only like is battle, and that is both the reason he was exiled from New Forum and why he is fighting in the war now. Felix finds it hard to trust anyone, and rarely ever gives anyone respect. He helps his so called “comrades” for the soul reason of fighting all there enemies, and since that’s pretty much everyone Felix lives the happiest life he possibly could. Powers/Weapons/Other Abilities: Felix carries a big battle axe that has a bright silver blade with a long jet black handle; the end comes out to a silver point so as to give Felix a variety of attacks. Felix is a berserk fighter, and is therefore undeniably stronger than most other fighters; he is even strong enough to wield his huge battle axe with one hand and usually does. Felix possesses the ability to absorb energy from the sun or the moon and fire it from his blade or use it to strengthen his weapon. The only thing more powerful than Felix with his axe is when he uses his fist, his brute strength and special brand of fighting style is a deadly combination. Position in the Army: A Bio: Felix Johnson always loved to fight, even when he was a child he would constantly be pulled from the rest of the children for fighting them. As he grew older he developed into a colder and angrier person and it wasn’t long before he joined the New Forum army. He was given a gun, and told to shoot his enemies only, but during a battle he shot through several of his comrades so that the enemy would suffer a greater loss; he was thrown in jail for treason and murder. While he was at his weakest and most desperate time an old and mysterious man appeared next to him in the cell, a cell he’s shared by himself for years. The old man said that he’d not only give Felix the power to flee his imprisonment but he could also make his battles more enjoyable. Felix agreed and they were both suddenly in the desert, the man gave him his powers and he tested them out by killing the old man on the spot; stating that he was far stronger then him and he didn’t deserve to live any longer. Felix joined The Verdin in hopes of fighting the strongest of the strongest and killing any useless people who would dare get in his way. Felix took on the alias of Biggs and would rather be called that then his real name. He achieved his rank in the army by simple killing hundreds of their enemies, and being very good at it to boot. RP Sample: [spoiler=sample] "Hm, the time of new order will be upon us soon..." Meitsu Granville stated as he walked about the big library, that was full of shelves of books that went on for miles. He slid one of the books out and began to read. "This whole country and kingdom will soon become mine. However, to ensure that I indeed inherit this kingdom, I'll have to make sure some "things" are done..." Meitsu walked into his brothers chambers. "Hm, not here. I'll just leave him a not inviting him to the cliff side." Meitsu scribbled some things onto a piece of paper and then left it on the table. "Heh, it's a good thing...that my family and this nation...doesn't know how evil I actually am..." Meitsu withdrew himself from his brother’s quarters and started to make his way to the cliff side for some preparation and to plan "it" all out so he would reduce the suspicion... Several hours later Sykes Granville entered his chambers and noticed a folded piece of parchment that was sitting on his table. "What’s this?" Sykes unfolded the parchment and read the small note that was written on its grainy like composition. "I see, Meitsu would like to see me for something. Alright, shouldn't keep that anxious little guy waiting..." Sykes then walked out of his chamber and then down the hall until he reached an archway. He then proceeded to walk out of the archway and hike five miles or so to the cliff side. "Huh? Not here yet. Oh well, I'll just wait for him while I enjoy the sun and the view of Casalina(A smaller city inside of the country)." Sykes walked over to the hill side until he was about five feet away from it. "Ah, Casalina always shown so brightly in the summer sunlight." Sykes said under his breath. Suddenly a blade of concentrated air sliced through three quarters of his upper back and chest. Sykes fell on his knees and blood kept pouring out from his deep wounds. "Keh! Who..." Sykes said as Meitsu sheathed his blade and walked over to Sykes, who was now on his hands and knees. "Meitsu, you son of a bit..." Sykes tried to say, as he was then knocked unconscious by a sword sheath slamming into the top of his spine. "I'm sorry but, you'll have to die big brother...." Meitsu said as he then Sykes' unconscious body down the cliff side and then hiked back to the castle. Meitsu entered the castle and went straight for a double door bedroom and opened the door slightly. "Hello, father..." Tiberius Granville raised his head in weakness and sickness. "My...son Meitsu...how are you..." Tiberius asked weakly. "Fine...." Meitsu said as he drew something from his pouch, slowly and swiftly so it couldn't be heard. "Good...your brother, Hisan...was here today...he's such a good lad..." Meitsu. "Yes..." Meitsu agreed as he readied the poison tipped throwing dart. "What...are you doing...son..." Tiberius asked, seeing the dart and then looking rather worried. "I'm doing what’s necessary for our country..." Meitsu through the dart and pierced his fathers heart with it, the poison quickly coursed through Tiberius' entire body and killed him almost instantly. Meitsu then walked over to an old shelf on which a blade that his father carried now resided. "Richira, the sword my father wielded, I can use this in my plan..." Meitsu tucked the blade on his belt and fled the scene... "Today is that day..." Meitsu said as a ghostly figure placed a king’s robe about his shoulders. "This day is the day I become king of this sniveling dog's country, and begin my rule with an iron fist..." Meitsu said as the ghostly figure moved back into the shadows. Then there came a knock at the door, and Hisan Granville entered Meitsu Granville's chambers. "Meitsu, the people are ready to here and see you..." Hisan said as he waited for a response. "Hisan, come here and close the door behind you..." Meitsu said, as Hisan did as he was told and was now but a few feet away. "First of all. I killed Sykes..." Hisan had a look of terror and confusion on his face. "W-what do you mean!?" Meitsu gave an evil deceitful smirk. "Also, right after Sykes, I killed our father..." Hisan dropped to his knees. "B-but..." Before he could get a word in edge wise the ghostly figure was now in front of him with its hand raised to Hisan's face. "Do it...Richira..." There was a flash of light and Hisan disappeared.... Meitsu Granville walked out of the courtiers and moved to a big balcony like stage so all the people could see. "Good morning all my citizens." The citizens all cheered for there newest king, as Meitsu signed the documents to make himself king, and then was knighted by the Captain of the Royal Guard. "As my first act, we are no longer Kingdom Tiberius. We are now to be called, Kingdom Granville..." The crowed clapped and whistled. "My second act...all shifters and enhancers are to be bard from the kingdom immediately..." This came to a shock to over forty percent of the crowd. Guards rushed out of there towers one after the other and pushed hundreds of enchanters and shifters back to the gates of the kingdom. After they were out of the kingdom itself, guards that were outside forced them to the country limits and left them there to die... Meitsu turned back to his followers. "From this day forward, we are to be an all human kingdom and we shall only allow our own kind to gather and live here..." Meitsu said as the crowd seemed to be rather pleased with his acts. [b]Name:[/b] Broken Heart (name unknown at his own leisure) [b]Age:[/b] 18 [b]Appearance:[/b] He keeps the back of his hair short but enjoys having a fringe cover his left eye. Why he enjoys this is known only to him. His eyes are both a dull blue colour from constant contact with light sources. He has an annoying stubble rash due to his rough shaving. His mouth is dry, usually from talking too much in his unnecessarily long explanations and monologues. He wears dark amber coloured glasses frames with rectangular leneses with rounded corners. They don't sit well and he eeds to push em up every so often. He is quite tall, with his form covered in a lab coat bearing both the symbols of Test Tube Genesis and his own, a broken heart flanked by an angel and demon's wing. His coat is unbuttoned to show just a simple T-shirt and long pants, which are held up by a belt, which is annoying as it digs into the sides. Much of the time the coat's lowest two buttons are in fact buttoned behind him to make some form of tail-coat, which he thinks is cool but everyone else calls it gay. Holstered to his side is his Magitech Gun of RANDOMNESS! He wears rather nice leather shoes, not overly great, but rather nice. Another small factor is that on excavations, he wears a hardhat which is magically pulled from a hammerspace hidden behind his back. Everytime he loses a hardhat he can literally pull another one out from behind his back. [b]Personality:[/b] His personality is on many levels. He usually acts with childishness and a bit of self-centeredness. His excitement rises when he is explaining things or finds new discoveries. He is easy-going at this personality state, and is quite happy to always go with the flow. He does have a habit of not letting other people talk. He can also be extremelly eccentric, calling people thiings like poppet and talking like a pirate. The next stage is quite abrassive and straight-forward; he gets very narky in this stage and easily snaps at people. His major argument ender at this state is 'Because shut up' after he pokes them in the eye. What is it with the obsession of eye poking anyways? The final stage is quite diabolic. He acts with lethal intent or murder and other things. He rarely dips into this stage, but sufficed to say it frightens small children like whoa. This could be described as an evil genius stage, except he actually attempts to kill people. Whether or not he was successful depends on what his lawyer has to say. [b]Bio:[/b] Fun, fun, FUN! FUUUUUUUUUNNNNNNNN! That's why Broken joined Test Tube Genesis, for the fun it would bring. He always did enjoy experimenting with things, he tried to breed a dog and a cat, it didn't work but thta didn't stop him. When he was old enough, he decided to join Test Tube Genisis in hopes of learning more about science. He also loved magic, not cheap parlour tricks but things like causing small animals to self-destruct. He got more than that, he got a slight taste of Glitch's power through the artifacts he helped to obtain, it became an obsession for him. More magic, more POWER A HA HA HA HAAAAA! He enjoys unearthing the artifacts, even whilst dodging enemy fire or etheral monstrosities from beyond the fourth ring. His love of magic and science combines into magitech, something slightly abominable but the randomness the unity makes is all worth it, right? RIGHT?! [b]Weapons:[/b] Magitech Gun of RANDOMNESS! - The magical artifact used to power it was meant to make a death ray, but a crack in it causes it's power to cause randomness instead. It's still a quick burst of ray, but the effects are random, it may even turn a man into a woman. Hell, it even swapped a man's skin with fire and gave someone else a head made of squids, which was both awesome and trippy. Mr. Hammer - A very large and seemingly impossible to wield hammer. It is impossible to wield in fact, it's so big and heavy who the hell could actually lift it? It happens to be capable of speech, it speaks with a Brooklyn accent, NYEH! [b]Technical Skills:[/b] Magitech operation, skilled excavationist and geographer. He makes use of magic when he can, but it isn't exactly successful. [spoiler=RP Sample] Broken ran excitedly up to Nexev with a bundle of rolled up blueprints. 'Okay, time for me to blow your mind' he declared loudly, cutting off any remarks from his boss. 'I was looking over the plans for that flying fortress and you wanted me to find a decent power source. I found it in the Arcana Gems. These things are just awesome; they can control each of the eight normally conceieved elements' he continued. Before Nexev could speak he continued. 'One can control fire, another ice, water, electricity, wind, earth, darkness and light. However, if we use them to power our fortress we'll need them in perfect harmony so they don't mess up the others and cause a major megical meltdown that would KILL US ALL!' he cried dramatically, tossing the blueprints into the air with a deranged floourish. After this, he stopped talking and thought for a moment. 'Eh, screw that idea. Most of them are in enemy territory and are too unstable anyways' he decided and walked off to talk to Mr. Hammer. 'Tough break eh boy?' Mr Hammer laughed. 'Meh, I doubt Nexev even liked my idea, it was stupid anyways' Broken pouted. 'Maybe next time kid. Now then, can you wield me yet?' Mr. Hammer inquired with rising excitement. 'I told you, no one can even wield you. You are a HFH, Heavy F**king Hammer. I doubt even Hercules could wield you' Broken cried.
