Ancient Gear Gadjiltron Dragon is also level 8 and has 3000 ATK, but it's an Effect Monster. Sure, AGGD has 500 less DEF, but that doesn't matter too much. I think BEWD was mainly to establish the charachter of Seto Kaiba and the phrase [size="7"][b]SCREW THE RULES I HAVE MONEY[/size][/b] And Blue Eyes Ultimate Dragon is awesome. He used to be at the top, but now that the game evolved so much, he's sort of at the middle point. Konami wouldn't dare ever release a Normal Monster that either surpasses or reaches Blue-Eyes ATK wise.
