Has someone posted this, if not, these are the pokemon that get a mega evolution + Ampharos, Absol, Mewtwo, Blaziken, Mawile, Lucario and Kangaskhan

That list doesn't have Mega Venusaur or Mega Eeeveelutions. It's totally fake. Besides, I think it would be stupid for Jynx to have a Mega form. A Mega form of her potential evolution, yes, but it seems rather unfair for Magmar and Electabuzz to get legitimate third stages while Jynx skips to Mega. If they announce a Mega form for Jynx, and then give her, Electivire, and Magmortar Mega forms, then that would be fine.

During the Pokemon Game Show we got some more X and Y tidbits: (I'll go over a couple)

- The method of Mega Evolution is through a simple button in the attack interface when your Pokémon has the Mega Stone attached to it.

- Fennekin has Psybeam, Flame Charge, Fire Spin and Tail Whip in its movepool.

- Friendliness, Hunger, and Play are three of Pokemon Amie's stats. The food used in Pokemon Amie is called Pofule.

- You now run by default.

So, is there any doubt Fennekin's line willl be Fire/Psychic now?

Well, at least it's a voluntary action. But if it needs a turn, that could be annoying.

Well if the demo is similar to the game, we should demote Mewtwo from legendary. (I know that commonly isn't the case)

Psybeam does make Fennekin seem like Fire/Psychic, but remember there are few Pokemon who can learn this without being Psychic types at all (There's quite a few exceptions: Around 15 I believe, 4 in Gen I, 5 in Gen II, 3 in Gen III, 3 in Gen IV 0 in Gen V and another 18 through breeding)

No one mentioned Fairy being not very effective against Fire types.

If that still affects the chances of Pokemon appearing like I was told by some random in HGSS, I hope I can switch back to the way running normally is, like I just ended up doing in HGSS anyway.

So you can ride Rhyhorn…

Could this be an indication of even more battles started by interacting with Pokémon?

I think riding a Rhyhorn looks pretty awesome, and funny at the same time.

I don't know Japanese though, do you know that second pic is one that shows a battle starting? I don't know, but it'd seem weird to start a battle with a Marill in that way, imo.

Wait, what do you mean?

Its times like this that I wish my Japanese was better. I can romanize the hiragana easily, its should say putsupupuu, but I have no idea what that might mean.

Presumably, that's just Marill talking. Because the text box is coming from Marill. Pokemon don't speak human, guys.

Also, we originally thought it was just "Send out, instantly transform with Mega Stone." Now it's "Press a button with a Mega Stone." That's still more complicated than we thought. Don't know why it'd be more complicated than that.

I remember in HGSS when you can switch between the running shoes and walking so you didn't have to hold the B button to run which was a good thing imo. I'd be fine if I can no longer walk in X/Y.

From an event were you could play a proto type.

"Played the demo.

That Mega-Evo button is a toggle switch. If your Pokemon isn't mega'd, press to turn on and press again to cancel.

If you turn it on, choose a battle action/move and the Pokemon Mega Evos as soon as the turn starts, before move priority, I think. Didn't really bother to try anything with Mewtwo against Crobat so I'm not really sure, but I THINK Mega Mewtwo might have higher Speed.

Couldn't see Mega Mewtwo's stats because they locked it.

In other words, you learn pretty much nothing.

Oh yeah. Circle pad is skates, d-pad is traditional movement. B to run. Use the circle pad and your character can move freely in 360 degrees, use the D-pad and your character snaps to the nearest square on the grid.

You can't switch back to normal if the Pokemon's already Mega Evolved, so you're forced to choose between abilities. The button disappears after evolution from what I recall and the "LV" letters above the health bar are replaced with the Mega Evo DNA mark. Granted you still get a second ability and stat boosts you can switch over to mid battle.

Not sure if Mega Evo has priority over abilities or events that might activate at the start of the turn.

Also, that move in the trailers that has Mewtwo summon a bunch of energy shards is Psystrike in case anyone had second doubts."

Totally using circle pad. At least as soon as I can, to try it out. It's cool that it seems to let you go 360 degrees or not.

Maybe I was over-exaggerating. In the demo, the player is given a Mewtwo by Professor Sycamore who will teach you about Mega Evolution, then he will battle you.

Mega Evolution can be done on the same turn as a move.

Sylveon having 'Cute Charm' isn't really a surprise.

Skates reminds me a youtube video I watched on Gen 2 when they planned to bring in a Skateboard.

Serebii claims MegaMewtwo appears not get a HP boost.

Well, yes, if the information we got before was accurate, Mewtwo only gets a boost to his Sp. Atk, just as Lucario and Blaziken only get +Atk, and so forth.

And of course Sylveon would have cute charm. Sylveon is the cutest Eeveelution yet. And it works for her (She looks feminine, I'm calling her a her) type, as well. The original three absorbed their own type, the Gen II pair both got Synchronize (Not sure why), and the Gen IV pair got abilities that work best in their respective weather conditions, sunny and snowy.

>Riding a Rhyhorn
I wonder.... Are they basically letting you ride all Pokemon with that similar body shape?
I mean, if they are doing that, then I wouldn't doubt it if you could ride Rapidash, Tauros, Girafarig, Suicune, etc, etc...

Also, saw this on Serebii:

Fairy-Type in TCG gets a Special Energy, rather then a Basic; It's just like Steel/Dark when they first appeared.
Though, nice to know that I now know what Fairy looks like in PTCG =D

I saw that earlier as well (like 8 hours ago, lol), not at all surprised. Dragon is still forever alone in not having an energy card.
