Northern Sage
Equip only to a Warrior-Type monster. Apply the following effects depending on its battle position. ● Attack Position: It gains ATK equal to its DEF. ● Defense Position: It gains DEF equal to its ATK. No changes except for a rewording. Sleepy
I think it's meh. Just +ATK/DEF and nothing else, and no other benefits at all. It's not even that much of a boost most of the time either. I really think it could have been equippable to any Type of monster and it'd still not do anything. I can only think of Goblins using it back in the day to make up for their poor DEF after their drawback, and even that is bleh....
Love of Ghibli
Does it work with Excalibur like it did in the show? I'm thinking no but I just want to be sure lol
Thomas★Zero
Seems okay for an equip spell makes some notable warriors like Utopia into a 4500 Beater (ATK 2500 + 2000 DEF). Even the main deck warriors get a decent boost from this like Command Knight which can turn into a 3500 Beater with this (ATK 1200 + 1900 DEF + 400 ATK to all warriors Boost) Still at least Konami are giving use something decent which closely goes along the lines of "United We Stand" or "Mage Power" in terms of potential ATK boosting. Also to answer Beginning446's question Excalibur's effect doubles its original ATK so it would total up to 6000 ATK for that turn. Edit: While looking on the data base to see how big the impact of this card could get (even though the example is a near to impossible to summon monster unless built in a dedicated deck) Rainbow Neos would total in at 7500 ATK if Equipped with this (ATK 4500 + 3000 DEF). Blake
Also to answer Beginning446's question Excalibur's effect doubles its original ATK so it would total up to 6000 ATK for that turn. Incorrect. Excalibur makes its ATK BECOME equal to double its original. As such, it would be 4000, seeing as it ignores other boosts. Source: If a "Heroic Champion - Excalibur" whose original ATK has been doubled by its effect is equipped with "Megamorph" when your Life Points are lower than the opponent's, its ATK becomes 4000. Also, if the effect of "Heroic Champion - Excalibur" is activated after being equipped with "Megamorph", its ATK becomes 4000.[4]

Blake
I ment when equipped with shield. You don't seem to understand. It won't gain the 2000 ATK from Shield, because its ATK BECOMES double its original, ignoring other changes. Even if you equip this, it'll still only have 4000 ATK if you use its effect. That sucks :/ didn't know that it blocks out other boost with its effect.
FreelancerRaiko
That sucks :/ didn't know that it blocks out other boost with its effect. It doesn't. You just have to use the effect before equipping it. The only reason megamorph is wonky because it does the same effect.
