Zeppeli Gyro Supreme
So, the list didn't really change anything. Only gave a very minor boost to Bakura, and Marik if you REALLY wanted to play 3 Magical Stone Excavation. Marik and Bakura also lost use of Morphing Jar, so any bonus that gave has been mostly removed. Also, I just noticed that Bastion actually has some interesting cards at his disposal. Foolish Burial, Smashing Ground, and Nobleman of Extermination.
Zeppeli Gyro Supreme
Does anyone think we should wait until Dragons of Legend comes out on the 25th/a spoiler list comes out and DN updates, or should I just start a tournament once April rolls around? Slinky
Wait until the full list is revealed, and go from thee.
Zeppeli Gyro Supreme
Had to make some edits when I realized that I had some character cards figured wrong, such as Rio getting Crystal Lancer. EDIT: Also, I should probably make a note for the next tournament that stall decks will be illegal.
Zeppeli Gyro Supreme
With Fire Hand and Ice Hand, Girag is now technically playable if he is allowed to play without traps, though it's a very weird deck.
Zeppeli Gyro Supreme
So, it's looking more and more like Raphael might be viable in some way. We're getting Scythe, and Soul Charge is busted.
Slinky
Can we not hit Soul Charge? being able to insta Dyson Sphere is awesome.

Slinky
Can Marshalling Field be a character card for Quinton? (maybe Quattro and Trey too). Because it blatantly supports their rank-up-magic, and is clearly aimed at helping them.

Because it blatantly supports their rank-up-magic, and is clearly aimed at helping them. I was considering it being counted as a character card for Quinton. Not Quattro though. I don't give support to decks that already have a lot going for them, even if it would fit their character. Strangely, just like with Tron, cards are being printed for Star Seraphs but weren't actually character cards. I might end up giving him just 1 of the new ones as a character card just so he doesn't have to play so many horrible spells to meet the requirements. Probably should be Quinton, as he is the creator of Argent. May as well just give Durbe everything, he could use the help, he has so few stuff to choose from
Zeppeli Gyro Supreme
Actually not sure if Dumon should get the Scepters as character cards. He doesn't need to use any character traps... The main thing though is that he's forced to use Battlefield as a tradeoff, which sucks. The rest of the deck fills out nicely with the rest of the Seraph cards as well, so I'm on the fence.
Slinky
Actually, he doesnt need to use Battlefield, just run 2 RUM71. if you dead draw them, summoner monk/sage helps you out.

He does have to. You need 15 character cards, and the Star Seraphs he has only take up 9 of those cards. That means 6 cards to fill in. Even if you ran 3 Seventh Ones you would still have 3 cards to meet the minimum requirement.

Zeppeli Gyro Supreme
Yeah, but I was talking about without them. I'll leave it as it is now, and we'll see how things go. Anyways, looks like Rafael only got one good card in the end, unfortunately.

Zeppeli Gyro Supreme
Gate Blocker + Assault Dog make Trudge happy. He also has Wiretap now, too. I'm glad he's finally playable. On another note, I have Number 86 Limited right now, but probably going to ban it.

Zeppeli Gyro Supreme
The thing is, I don't want to get rid of any support for Gauche, but I also don't want him to have access to a boss monster that beats out all others. I think the best choice is banning 86.
Zeppeli Gyro Supreme
Characters who got noticeable boons from Dragons of Legend: Yugi (A whole ton of potentially usable cards) Rafael (Soul Charge, Deathscythe, etc) Jaden (Philosopher's Stone, Flash Fusion, Battle Fusion) Zane (Flash Fusion, Battle Fusion) Chumley (Ayers Rock Sunrise) Bastion (Carboneddon, Mathematician) Crow (Tons of cards) Trudge (Assault Dog, Gate Blocker, Wiretap) Anna (A few okay cards) Girag (Hand cards, making him playable) Most ZeXal characters (Quick Chaos) I am probably going to test out Trudge a bit soon, and Bastion. Delibirb
Im screwing around with a Raphael deck that has had moderate success. Dreadscythe is actually pretty decent if you can get him out. (In testing)
Zeppeli Gyro Supreme
That's good, though summoning Eatos is the main issue. Also, for a slower format like this, what do you think about Supply Unit?
Delibirb
That's good, though summoning Eatos is the main issue. Also, for a slower format like this, what do you think about Supply Unit? well I imagine it might actually be better here; having to run bad cards, getting to the good ones becomes that much more important.
