Samus's character was about the only wrong thing in it, which yeah, was major, but the game itself was good and full of connections to older Metroid games. They make games, make money, and are making plenty of it, I might add. Hence, "good". A company is good moreso by the money they make, not just the quality of the products. Hello my name is Enguin Posted January 1, 2015 Report Share Posted January 1, 2015 My most recently formed unpopular opinion, having finally played it, is that The Last of Us isn't that great, It's definitely a good game and the story is very well written but the fact that every five minutes I was either getting a raft for Ellie to stand on, or throwing her up to push down a ladder for me was just too repetitive for me. That and the fact that in this apocalypse every building has collapsed to form a convenient yet linear path. While I admit this is a fairly nit-picky complaint and is obviously unavoidable for designing the game, it's still something I noticed a lot and it kind of irritated me. I'm going to play it through again because admittedly I got a bit pissed with certain parts and kind of rushed through them but overall it didn't come close to Bioshock Infinite for example.
