CLG Klavier
Cannot be Normal Summoned/Set. Must be Special Summoned by its own effect, and cannot be Special Summoned by other ways. When a face-up monster you control is destroyed by a card effect and sent to the Graveyard (except during the Damage Step): You can Special Summon this card from your hand. Other monsters you control cannot declare an attack. Once per turn: You can target 1 Synchro Monster your opponent controls; equip that target to this card. This card gains ATK equal to the combined ATK of the monsters equipped to it by this effect. Once per turn, during either player's turn, when your opponent activates a Spell Card: You can negate the activation, and if you do, destroy it.Seeing as Synchros are probably gonna see a resurgence soon due to how Arc-V pushes all summoning types, and the fact that his spell negation effect can negate activation of Pendulums...Meklords rise again? Thomas★Zero
Seems likely but for them to truly come back they will need a new universal Meklord Emperor to deal with Fusion and Xyz Monsters as well.
(GigaDrillBreaker)
Card was a sick tech against Prophecy.
Spinny
It negates spells too! O.o Whoa.
Blake
They did come back. It's called Cyber Dragon Infinity... or, at least, I feel it was meant as a nod to the Meklord Emperors. But yeah, this one's still a cool guy.
Neutrality Man
The Spell negation working on Pendulums is what is keeping this guy afloat...and then there's Granel's ability to Special Summon whatever he absorbs under YOUR control. Toffee.
Arc-V could be pro and have it's own Meklord expy. Just sayin'
Bringerofcake
While the anime had the cooler look, I like how this card transitioned irl
newhat
Decently designed card. Good numbers, good effect, good attributes, inconsistent condition. Better now that Raigeki and Dark Hole are hovering around.
Darj
It's funny, I'm not really a fan of this card being Level1 because in my opinion it doesn't fit its boss traits (summoning condition, effect and ATK/DEF), but I understand it was because of the anime or something like that; but said Level comes with the perks of being searchable by Gigant and of course Level1 support, although the latter is tricky to take advantage from, so I really can't complain. Anyways, Wisel looks solid but I really don't see it coming back soon; I would say it is more of a cute tech but I don't know.
Neutrality Man
Seems likely but for them to truly come back they will need a new universal Meklord Emperor to deal with Fusion and Xyz Monsters as well. That kinda completely throws flavor out the window. Meklords were created by the world itself to destroy the Synchro Monsters because Synchros influenced Momentum. They could give a fuck about Fusion and Xyz, which don't influence Momentum.
