VCR_CAT
(This card’s original Level is always treated as 12.)Cannot be Synchro Summoned. Must be Special Summoned (from your Extra Deck) by sending 2 Level 8 or higher monsters you control with the same Level to the Graveyard (1 Tuner and 1 non-Tuner), and cannot be Special Summoned by other ways.(1): Cannot be destroyed by card effects.(2): This card gains 1000 ATK for each monster on the field.(3): Once per turn, during either player’s Main Phase: You can Special Summon as many “Utchatzimime Token” (Fiend-Type/DARK/Level 1/ATK 0/DEF 0) as possible to anywhere on the field in Defense Position, but you must Special Summon an equal number of Tokens on each side, also this card cannot attack for the rest of this turn. "Hey, what's the big idea?! We already had a thread for this, and the effect looks the same!" It's not. Not entirely. There's one key, KEY difference, and that's the bolded part above: You need level 8 or higher monsters to summon this card. This is big because now you can't just use Hieratics and summon this easy as pie. Right now there are only two level 8 tuners; and nothing bigger than that. These monsters are Life-Stream Dragon and Bird of Paradise Lost. This makes matters complicated because the only real viable way to use the former is through Ultimaya and another monster it summoned. Not impossible, but not idea because you want as empty a field as possible when summoning this guy (so you can clog your opponent as much as possible). The other method involves a lot of 8 stuff with Bird of Paradise Lost. I don't have a set combo in mind, and all I can think of off the top of my head is Dracoscension. It's not a difficult monster to summon, but whether it can be done consistently is beyond me. Needless to say, the effort needed to summon this guy is probably beyond its usefulness. (GigaDrillBreaker)
I guess there are also some cute plays with Zefraxi that help to summon this, but none of them are worth it. Probably the best bet is Yazi into Bird of Paradise Lost, then some other level 8.
Ryusei the Morning Star
So it's trash now? What's next for Angmar, add a spell and shuffle your hand back into your deck?
~British Soul~
...And from the KoJ offices, you can hear them chanting: "THIS is why we made Bird of Paradise Lost level 8 *laughs*!"Sorry, I had to
VCR_CAT
Angmar's effect was also confirmed. Pretty much unchanged. Most of the confirmation stuff is going to be minor details like this (it really was only one number they messed up). Only problem is that this actually changed a lot. I should also mention, RDA's have Bane which can summon 2 Birbs and have other viable methods of getting Bishie out. Some kinda RDA Wyrm deck is probably the best bet. VCR_CAT
Oh, well I can see the original intention is that you actually summon the evolved form with the original form. It's not too much of a stretch to summon a level 8 with Ultimaya and then Lifestream Dragon; so you CAN do it through that, and incidentally does make the evolution cooler. But, I should mention that right now it's not strictly impossible to summon Bishie. It might be harder, but level 8 tuner combos are an area I've never toyed with, so I don't even know what this would look like in-play outside of the play I just described. Yemachu
Infernoid can summon it relatively easily from an empty field; "Decatron" sends "Seitsemas", making it Level 8. Then summon "Attondel". You have 2 Level 8 monsters on the field; 1 Tuner and 1 non-Tuner. A few other tuners which could be used include:"The Agent of Entropy - Uranus", thematically "Master Hyperion" can serve as the other half."Spore" banishing "Sylvan Saqequoia" (or any Level 7 Plant-Type for that matter) and a Level 8 monster."Copy Plant" targeting a Level 8 Plant-Type. Since it is most likely your own, you already have the materials."Accel Synchron" by sending a Level 3 Synchron ("Junk Synchron" maybe?)."Wicked Priest Chilam Sabak" (requires to be destroyed in battle to become a tuner). There might be some more options (something with Lemuria, the Forgotten City and Water monsters), but those would be even more inconsistant than the above named ones. Also there is the point of this card being worth summoning, considering you can also summon a Rank 8 monster with its requirements.

VCR_CAT
I've done some testing with Yang Zings. For those that are worried they won't get to have fun with this card, it's still decently easy to summon this guy by teching Birb of Paradise Lost in Yang Zings. It's not bad. Azuh
So if this is supposed to be a straight evolution to Ultimaya, then how can we Summon it? Yes, you can summon Life Stream Dragon, but Ultimaya is treated as Level 12. So you can't send it to summon this without level modifying I'm very disappointed. VCR_CAT
You summon another level 8 first; also read the above comments before posting a claim like that
BlackBeartic
Card's ruined.Requires infernoids or some of the other stuff above and i'm honestly not going to play those decks just to get at this. BlackBeartic
Are you trying to say it was splashable before? No. But at least there were WAY more options before. This one number change slashed away about 95% of those options.
(GigaDrillBreaker)
I mean, it got rid of the way that was particularly practical, but I honestly think cards like this shouldn't be widely accessible. It make them feel more special.

Tbh I am a little happy it came to this though, I never did like the fact that it just floods your field with tokens...
玄魔の王
Konami is basically screaming "Use Chilam Sabak when it comes out" now. *Squints at the image* What's that monster in the bottom right of the art? Is that the token it summons?Stardust Sifr. It's meant to show how big this guy is. So if this is supposed to be a straight evolution to Ultimaya, then how can we Summon it? Yes, you can summon Life Stream Dragon, but Ultimaya is treated as Level 12. So you can't send it to summon this without level modifying I'm very disappointed. It didn't use Ultimaya as a material in the manga, it just required it to be in the Graveyard.
