Card of Demise

Draw until you have 3 cards in your hand, also send your entire hand to the Graveyard during the End Phase. For the rest of this turn, your opponent takes no damage. You can only activate 1 "Card of Demise" per turn. You cannot Special Summon during the turn you activate this card.

 

 

Um so yeah, OCG Yosenju topped with this card cause you can resolve Demise before you bounce back your jews.

 

Could work in Shaddolls and Qli too I think?

I can see why in Yosens, but at the same time...ehhhh? Just to draw into more floodgates, I assume? Cause it kinda stops you for a turn, which is bad early game for them from what I can tell.

 

You don't need to Special Summon to have a production turn. You can also activate this card in the Main Phase 2 after you have inflicted battle damage with attacks. So it just gives you a dead card for your Main Phase 1 and rewards you with 3 more after that.

Was not talking about the no special summoning, but good point on the MP2 thing which justifies it totally to me.

Shaddolls maybe? We only have 4-5 Spells to fusion summon atm

 

Shaddolls do tend to have slow starts. But I would imagine this being more effective if you had a hand more condensed with backrow with stuff like Shadow Games (or even in your case Compulse), and that you would do this Turn 1.

Shaddolls lose hand Advantage pretty fast if you mess with their plays. Thing about dolls in a post Raff/Jack world, is you don't really wanna draw your traps. While this does afford the deck versatility and potentially recompense poor turns, I'm still in favor of another DMOC or hand traps

 

That being said. Math is Limited and TCG oddly dislikes Armageddon :/ so maybe this is needed

In all seriousness, though, you could probably also use this in, for example, Burning Abyss, to trigger their effects. Dunno if Scarm or any other BA whose effects trigger during the EP would miss timing, though.

BA don't miss timing, because unlike something like Yang Zing, they are fair and not broken

The Two best BA special summon, and you want to ideally make Dante, also Infernity SS out of their god damn ass so not so good in either of those

 

 

Shaddolls didn't pan out either unfortunately. What you drew was too random, hand traps work better than this, and it's hard to get rid of your whole hand
