Bull has potential.

The other effect of Bear is important, seeing as it's really good. It's an odd-eyes esque card on scale 7, just requires things to be in ED/Grave. And it gets back Joker and Monkey, among other things like dead Synmch things.

AS KOOK HAS SAID MANY TIMES, MANY WAYS

NO BEAR NO BUENO. G E T D U N K E D O N !

also the parakeet is good and you should keep an eye on it

cobra is good because of its type. run alongside partnaga.

trap is cute

Bull was nerfed a little too hard, but probably not outright bad.

seesaw is cute but not time yet

They're trying really hard to make all this suit not work with Pwiz

Not really.

Longphone, etc. sure, but...

Bear works really well with it, rewarding you for popping monkey to get something that floats into that monkey, then

Canary's monster effect, yeah, but the scale makes it really good and doesn't conflict.

Cobra is a 1-of for King Feral, alongside Partnaga.

Seesaw is actually basically the same as the anime.

tl;dr the gimmicky sheet doesn't work with Sorc, not the good stuff.

Beast looks really nice, I'll give you that, but End Phase Dude :/ it's too slow

Why is Cobra worth any attention at all again? Milling the OP's deck isn't good anymore

end phase isn't even an issue

You go Monkey -> scale/Sorc -> PS sorc -> Pop Monkey and Scale(?) -> Bear and guitartle, put them down, bear evolves into Monkey in EP. That's not too slow at all, that's a T1 play/post-BP play that counts as searching Monkey.

Cobra's not good for the effects. They're actually garbage.

It's a Level 4 EARTH Reptile Scale 2.

Every facet of that is really, really good. It's good because King Feral searches it, it makes Nat Beast if you want it to, it has a lower scale than Partnaga, and it's a 4 for Xyz plays. You'd just run 1-1 with PArtnaga, because Partnaga's scale effect is really good.

It's basically a vanilla.

It's basically a vanilla.

Except that it cannot use vanilla support.

Though I agree bear is quite great.

What are you talking about, you could not use a second monkeyboard during that turn in any case, so getting it back at the end of the turn is basicly as good as getting it right away and being searchable by wizard bascily means it is a rank 6 fodder card, which is also a 1 target "amazing pendulum" card ... so basicly it is a wisdom-eye for performapals, though it requires a bit setup, but is good never the less.

Also Showdown being a 2 target book of moon is also not all too bad.

Yup, I conceded that point haha. Wonder what Rank 6 we could make outside of Beatrice though :O

Seasawhopper's 3rd effect is great for setting up Xyz or maybe even Synchro plays. The other effects are less viable, but could work in a few specific situations...

Also, I agree with Armz, Momonga would be perfect for my YGOPro's Obedience Schooled EM Deck if it was Level 2 - though now that both Joker and Monkey are limited on the TCG, I'm not sure how viable it'd be...

Bear's Full effect is:

Entermate King Bear / Performapal King Bear

Level 6 Scale 7 EARTH Beast-Warrior-Type Pendulum Effect Monster

ATK 2200

DEF 1000

Pendulum Effect:

(1) During the End Phase, if this card was activated during this turn: You can destroy this card, and if you do, add 1 Level 7 or higher monster from amongst the face-up Pendulum Monsters in your Extra Deck or monsters from your Graveyard.

Monster Effect:

(1) This Attack Position card cannot be destroyed by Spell/Trap Effects.

(2) During your Battle Phase, this card gains 100 ATK for each “Performapal” card you control.

I am now sad. Hoping it's a mistranslation given how late the 7 appears in the text, but this is all sorts of rip.

It's a good card, not bot in Ppal ATM, if this is correct.

More updated lores:

Carpet Momonga

Pendulum Effect

Unless you have a card in your other Pendulum Zonedestroy this card. Halve all battle damage you take.

Monster Effect
FLIP: You can target 1 Set card on the fielddestroy it.
If this card is Special Summoned: You can change this card to face-down Defense Position.

Parakhorus

Pendulum Effect
Once per turn, if you have a "Performapal", "Magician", or "Odd-Eyes" card in your other Pendulum Zone, except "Performapal Parakhorus": You can make this card's Pendulum Scale become 7 until the end of this turn.

Monster Effect
If this card is destroyed by battle: You can Special Summon 1 "Performapalmonster that is not a Pendulum Monster from your Deck.

Seesawhopper

Once per turn, this Special Summoned card cannot be destroyed by battle. Once per turn, during your opponent's End Phase: You cantarget 1 Level 3 or lower "Performapalmonster in your Graveyard; send this card to the Graveyard, and if you do, add that target to yourhand. If a "Performapal" monster(s) is sent from the hand to the Graveyard while this card is in your Graveyard: You can Special Summon this card. You can only use this effect of "Performapal Seesawhopper" once per turn.

*Looks at Momonga*

Who wants to build a Performapal/Prediction Princess hybrid deck now?

But seriously, I'm more interested by Seeawhopper out of all new P-Pals.

The way it's worded now, its last effect (the one we actually care about) is less (in theory) reliable and consistent; on the other hand, it's easier to plus from its effect and it can combo with a lot of things EM can afford to run (Pendulum Call in particular).

Cobra is lovely. Good Level, good Scale, good Type, but I'll probably end up trolling a bit with Inverse Universe and the direct attack effect at some point too.

Bear is alright to me. Has a good Scale, and a Level that can be brought out with that Scale, and even if it is only at the Pendulum Zone for a turn, it can bring back something like an Odd-Eyes that was detached, or that was sitting at your Extra Deck without being able to come out yet, which in turn is a searcher too. Plus Rank 6, I still love using Utopia Beyond or Photon Strike Bouncer here and there.

The Trap: I think Book of Moon should move up on the list.... The Trap is not as versatile and does ask for the minimum requirement of at least having Scales to claim you have face-up Spell/Trap Cards to use this, but it is searchable and affects more than one target (even if just from the opponent's side).....  Cute, like Ghostrick ways.

Those Parrots... I recall a Rank 3 that required WIND monsters that could be a good icing on the cake on top of all the good the card already has.

Momonga: Love the concept, Pendulum Flips should have an archetype. Not a fan of the self-destruct, but the Scale and Flip effect are good so I can take it. Besides, its not like Performapals don't already have a lot of ease to bring these out.

Org Updated?

Way it's phrased now the 7 restriction might just be for the second part, worse case Magician pals got some nice bonus and Beatrice is easier to make. Cheer up dude, Show must go on!
