Crab Helmet then responded to the ban (and Frunk's abusive behavior) publicly by making it permanent for pedophilia. Get your facts straight. I had been appointed as a normal moderator several months before that incident arose. Hardly returning from nowhere. I stand by my actions. The rules were (are?) very clear, and anyone who thinks that type of content is (or was) appropriate on a young people's site like this ought to have their head read, but alas, YCM.net took a different path. J-Max deserved a permanent ban and if it wasn't for a puerile and anti-authoritarian group of members it would have rightfully remained as such. You had not even joined by the time my tenure as a Super Moderator ended, so I'm actually flattered that you, obviously, went back through my thousands of posts and hours of moderation to assess me. The clearly diligent effort you've put in to your evaluation of me makes me fine with the fact that you came to the conclusion that I was useless. I don't care what people think about me as a moderator, I was a hard ass and I make no apology for it. But people trying to paint J-Max as some kind of saint and poor misunderstood victim is too hilarious to go unanswered. On an unrelated note, is it just me or is this website slow as frunk? Rod, initially for being involved in a controversial loli thread in C&O that drove the mods into some sort of paranoid pedo witchhunt, then for pulling some strings to evade the ban to post a scathing thread about the banning mod and YCM in general. The post was deleted, but not before a former member copy+pasted it on his blog and some unscrupulous social outcast managed to screencap it. He somehow found his way back here with an unbelievably bullshit story about amnesia and I guess the mods just looked the other way for some reason. Red W Mage multiple times for trolling. Auto-Life was a thing. Unfortunately, St. Ivalice started outsourcing to vieras for cheaper Red Mage labor so he was out of a job and hasn't been seen since. Banterbus because no one can appreciate his light-hearted humor. Though, he finds his way around bans easily because there's no stops on the Banterbus. Danilus and I were the very first moderators and that was the policy which we decided upon, as YCMaker's input into the rules was nonexistent. I was a moderator of General but I was informed of the situation by a few different members after nothing had been done by the moderator of whatever section it was (I cannot recall for the life of me). I do recall that the images which were posted were explicit enough in my opinion that they should never have been shared here on this website. I raised the issue with Crab Helmet, who saw fit to ban J-Max permanently. Friendly or not, he broke the rules, but the moderation team of the time were more concerned with how much their little buddies, who objected en masse, liked them, than they were with policing the site, and hence it was overturned and I got hung out to dry (I don't recall if Crab Helmet was reprimanded too). I vehemently disagree. That's the sort of thing a parent could see and this site could theoretically face serious legal action over, particularly as I don't believe this site uses CAPTCHA or even profanity filters any more (if I'm not mistaken).
