Card has me conflicted, it seems a little too generic for it's own good. Super Poly is limited OCG side, and I don't suppose that there's too many way to abuse this card outside of that.

 

Kinda happy that E-Tele got limited if this is what the rest of the deck will be like. Anyway, I really don't see how this is any worse than Heroes or dolls w/ respect to super-poly, so highly doubt it's getting banned off this.

 

As far as the impact TCG side, if Kozmo don't get E-Tele limited, this archetype pretty much will. Between double piercing and such. There's way too much damage to be had here

It's a card that enables them to make a fusion off the bat, without need for multiple Metalphosis/2 monsters in addition to a Metalphosis.

 

It makes hybridization ideas more viable, as you are rewarded for more Metalphosis, but not punished for less. I'm not sure which hybrid is best, but Yang Zing/Pendulum/Odd-Eyes/etc. exist, and there is room for trying ideas.

You can use Instant Fusion on this, can't you?

 

Combination will go off because you've Fusion Summoned, or, you can use Instant, then fuse this with one other into Orihulk and get this back immediately.

There's gotta be more than 1 Spell and 1 Trap out there, but their own Super Poly makes me pretty nervous.

I think IK where you're going with this, but those fusions and synchros have far been powercreeped

I agree with Black's line of thought here. This card exists for the benefit of mixing Metalphosis with other decks, hence the super generic materials.

 

Allows me to actually get the fusion in the grave every once in a while.

 

As a sidenote, I am curious on the Metalphosis/Yang Zing mix. How does that work? Wouldn't YZs miss timing?

That's exactly what I was getting at. 9/10 times making Orihulk won't trigger Combination because you have to Fuse from hand to make that work.

There isn't one.

 

At least, not in TDIL. This is right before Orihulk, which is right before Cardinal. There's a Ritual/Anime Fusion slot left, and that's about it.

That's not how it works.

 

When; You can has the potential to miss timing. But the specific wording that would MAKE an effect miss timing (aside from its condition being met on Chain Link 2 or higher) is:

 

": Do A, then do B"

 

then is a word that means action A happens THEN action B happens.

 

Meanwhile, these are:

 

"Do A, and if you do, do B"

 

this makes A and B happen simultaneously.

 

That said, from what we know, bot hdecks have no way to generate advantage at a fsat pace outside of Jiaotu, so the idea, while popular, is unlikely to last as we get more support.

Card's pretty ok though, free fusion and easier to make until you get the mats to make the others.

I'm only excited for this archetype coz it means i can mixed my older beloved psychics with these guys<3
