Darj
I have always liked how this move's association with Winged Beast-Type Pokemon strengthens the movepool of some of them by granting them access to a Special based Fire-Type move comparable to Flamethrower that otherwise they wouldn't be able to learn (yes, there is Hidden Power-Fire, but its base power is lower), and is great for countering most Machine-Types and punishing Ice themed Aqua-Type Pokemon... oh wait, I'm mixing up games. Heat WaveSpell CardType: NormalThis card can only be activated at the start of Main Phase 1. Neither player can Normal or Special Summon an Effect Monster, until your next Draw Phase. There you go. Making this thread mainly to ask if it is has picked up any attention along Metalfoe/Metalphosis, considering it's an archetype of Normal Pendulums who have a couple of Non-Effect Fusion Monsters they should be able to Summon under this card's effect for beating something up. Dova
I used to play Normal Pends. Then I took a Banlist to the Wavering. On a more serious note, I love this card. It makes for some good early game protection, and late game lockdown if you manage to Raigeki. I wish it was Speed Spell 2, and you could activate it at any point during your Draw -> Main Phase, and that you can't Summon Effect monsters the same tu- Basically all I'm asking for is a remake: Heat WaveQuick-Play SpellActivate this card only during your Draw Phase, Standby Phase, or Main Phase 1. Neither player can Special or Normal Summon Effect monsters until your next Draw Phase. You cannot Normal Summon or Special Summon an Effect monster(s) during the turn you activate this effect. Maybe I'm just being dumb and misreading, but doesn't that second sentence completely encompass the third? As for this card... Wasn't it a suggestion for Shaddolls at one point since it could slow the game down + you're still allowed to set monsters?

Well, the second effect as far as I'm aware only encompasses future summons, so I tried to write it so that you couldn't summon effect monsters then activate it. The Nyx Avatar
If using Tyrant's Throes was effective in Igknight, I do wonder how this card will fare in that Deck or Metalphosis. Then again, that cars is prone to destruction and this one only lasts one of each player's turn.
cr47t
A nifty card for Normal Pends (and I run those) because it's like a more instant Tyrant's Throes except it dosent last as long and it dosent really cost much. Good for stalling otherwise.

Then it isn't legal for play Anyway, ah that during the newly introduction of pendulums, where pendulum . . . not bad but not as good as now, playing that normalpendulum.dek with this and Tyrant's Trap, especially Tyrant's Throes which is does the same job, continuous and huge cost, but well MST exist, so this card is much safer to run.
