Lore: Target 1 face-up monster on the field; send 1 "Alien" monster from your Deck to the Graveyard, and if you do, place A-Counters on the targeted monster equal to the sent monster's Level. During your Main Phase, except the turn this card was sent to the Graveyard: You can banish this card from your Graveyard; add 1 "Alien" monster from your Deck to your hand.

So Konami was getting a new supports for "Aliens"? Btw, this card was pretty good.

What I like most about this card is it gives me hope for Cloudian support.

As for the card, it helps set up for Gol'gar and other A-Counter shenanigans such as Mysterious Triangle and Code A Ancient Ruins. While replacing itself with Ammonite or whatever else you want next turn.

While they already had other options for milling, such as Brilliant Fusion and Mausoleum of White, getting those A-Counters at the same makes this look really good for the deck. Also it's basically never going to brick, unlike those.

You could also tech in Summoner Monk for King of the Feral Imps, and if you discard this you can get some nice plusses.

FINALLY! How many people have been saying for how many years that Aliens are overdue for new support? This card single-handedly solves most of the problems Aliens faced: A-Counter distribution, Searching Ammonite and setting up Ammonite. This is a good sign, hopefully there's more to come.

Ok, this is really good, but even so, I'm skeptical it'll make the Deck much better. Like, if you gave Cyberdarks a towers, it would still be bad.

It takes more than one 7/10 card to make a Deck particularly good. Obviously, Aliens don't need meta presence, I just think it would be nice to make them more playable.

Too bad its super slow. Needing to wait a turn to use the ROTA effect is super subpar, but I can see why though.

It's a Foolish Burial that makes several of their effects live instantly. That's already a massive boost. Putting stuff in the Graveyard for Norden or Ammonite to revive is just as good as searching, and thanks to Dog you can make Omega to recycle this.

No it's not. Because you need Ammonite on hand. It may be a Foolish Burial, but its a foolish burial for a deck that doesn't have graveyard-esque effects, and very limited options in terms of revival (Norden and Ammonite are pretty much it, unless you want to include Mother which is absolute shite, and your main way of even searching Ammonite generally requires Norden in the first place). The play is useless if you don't have Ammonite on-hand. which again, this card can potentially fix, but its delay almost completely kills that interaction.

If we can just get 1 more maindeck Alien this card'll be amazing, but maybe there's something to say for maybe playing a Gemini variant with Hypno?

If we get a Level 4 Alien that actually has a good, proactive effect, the deck'll be set. Currently we have Warrior who sucks, Telepath, who's okay, Hypno, who's pretty slow, and Kid, who's good but only really works on the opponent's turn. Hunter and Skull aren't even worth mentioning. Also Shocktrooper, who might be the best if only because of Rescue Rabbit.

As is, the deck is This, Ammonite, Level 4 of your choice, and Triangle. Maybe other stuff if you're feeling ballsy.

What are some of the other issues they had?

Oh, you know, actually being able to do something.

Aliens have Cosmic Fortress, and then a bunch of other random cards that do stuff in either gimmicky ways OR require more A-Counters then the Archetype is capable of producing.

Better consistency would be a start, instead of either waiting a turn for an ROTA, or using 2 monsters to make a Feral Imp. Although this isn't just an Alien problem, a lot of older archetypes have this problem, where they do have a searcher, but its either delayed or is just not generic enough to be useful turn 1.

Alright; while they have two options, neither of them is fast enough.
