(The bottom-right card)
竜星の九支 (Ryuusei no Kyuushi/Nine [branches?] of the Yang Zing) [Name is a pun on 竜生九子, a homophone for thenine sons of the dragon]
Counter Trap Card
If you control a “Yang Zing” card when a Spell/Trap Card or monster effect is activated: negate that activation, and if you do, return that card to the owner’s Deck, then destroy 1 other “Yang Zing” card you control.

Oh look, an "omni-Counter" Trap for Yang Zings, how creative, right?

Then consider that they already can play the Zefra Counter Trap  (or at least I have seen some builds play it), also this Trap should be searchable by Zefraniu as well... IDK, could Yang Zings become metaworthy when they can potentially play 6 omni-Counters?

Well, it's neat they have their own counter trap, but even Zefra Divine Strike gets around in the deck better cause people run the turbo variant with Iris and the Zefras. I expected something to compliment this build, but this is alright for a standard floodgate.dek kind of variant.

The card is cool, but with all this random support from the last few packs, is it safe to assume that INOV is out of ideas?

Well, a lot of their recent archetypes are feeble and/or obsolete competitively, so maybe they sought to support some previous ones to compensate/distract (or at least try).

A counter trap is pretty slow if you're using it for enabling plays. I'd rather just use metalphosis or the real Sky iris.

Come to think of it Yang zings don't have a field spell.

Celestia is their implied field spell. It takes up the space for a Yang Zing Spell in New Challengers.

anyways, I keep going back and forth on this. Notably, that it is live the moment you NS a Yang Zing.

The problem with that is that it's choreographed, with the pro being that you can't simply run over said YZ.

normally i'd agree, but this is literally a non-destructive solemn warning for yang zings alone, and it can even blow up your monsters to get you started or keep you going. it's slow, but even one resolution could (and should) leave you in a really good spot.

EDIT: and ninjas.

Because clearly the best thing to throw into a Deck that Special Summons, but usually upon destruction, is a card that hinders Special Summons.

You deliberately lower the ceiling to a point to increase the potency of the deck, as summoning Baxia and all other wombo combos require a great dedication of resources to successfully establish a strong board, whereas Demise reduces the deck's inherent weakness to Maxx "C" while still making strong comparable opening boards. Even going second you can still use Jiaotu with this since it's still a Yang Zing card.

It's the same concept used behind Demise Kozmo.
