>Wyvern searches Ancient Gear cards

>"lol u can't set sheet for rest of turn"

What the honest funk is the point of this drawback?

Are they really THAT afraid of Gear Drill? Gear Drill's "you can't activate this set card" drawback is painful enough as it is, and basically loses to Twin Twister/etc.

AG Stratos? Cool. Decent stats for a no-Tributer? Sweet! Tutors any card? Fantastic. Can't search Geartown? Oh well. Can't Set? (shrug)

Unless there's a good AG Trap or Quickplay in the works, that no-Set drawback might as well not exist.

Hydra is a great step-up from other AG Tribute monsters. Striking at everything at once and/or banishing things it can't kill are already decent effects, but giving Armades to every AG monster you control is icing on the cake.

Now, if they introduce a good 1-Tribute monster...

Hydra confuses me. I mean, all beefy AGs come with the Armades clause, right? And the banish effect it has is something I don't like as an effect as it just seems to be tacked onto several cards as an afterthought. The all attack clause I admit is neat for clearing out fields for your Golems and Dragons to go for the kill, but it doesn't feel worth those two tributed, especially with the other ones AGs have.

Wyvern works so well with Gold and Silver for that AGadget deck it ain't funny. Free searches, decent stats and r4nk fodder? Neato.

No, almost all of the AGs come with the AG clause. AKA No s/t, but monsters are fair game.

Well another amazing support card for A.G. and a catapult/town target which has 2.7k rather than the usual 3k, however also passes the full armades/lightning clause around, which is quite major, though Wyvern making the catapult + town play more consistent is quite useful (not all too relevant, however Hydra + Town for 1 Tribute can be useful if need be, though it being a desperate play). All in all the Structure Deck can be considered somewhat decent, at least enough to make A.G. somewhat playable, even if the deck still requires a buffed version of the hound dog series to be interesting, it is a start. Though if this would be the last wave of new A.G.s the archtype would still remain mediocre at best.

Screw that, I just wish Konami would stop farting around and just make the Hound cards already. I mean hell, Raging Tempest is already giving us the freaking Wind Witches, and the AG Hounds have got at least a year on Rin's cards.

Well either in Raging Tempest or the next Booster SP (if they release them any time soon), though the first does not mention A.G. support.

What the honest f*** is the point of this drawback?

The obvious one that comes to mind is no memephosis tech rather than Drill, hands off my pure AG deck

With Wyvern around, I wish they make some kind of Ancient Gear Fusion Spell that makes their fusion more playable. I wouldn't mind an "Ancient Gear" Overload Fusion, or Future Fusion why not xD

And Hydra looks average at best when there are bigger Ancient Gears to Summon though Geartown, although that (3) sure is nice, also it's Level7 for... Rank7ing with Machina Fortress?
