Atypical-Abbie Posted March 15, 2017 Report Share Posted March 15, 2017 COTD-JP077 戦線復帰 Sensen Fussa (Return to the Frontlines)Normal Trap Card(1) Target 1 monster in your Graveyard; Special Summon that monster in Defense Position. Oh wow, we are really getting generic in this set, this card has no restrictions at all, the only thing is that it's a Trap Card and that it Special Summons in Defense Position, but you are free to trigger all your effects you want, you can use it for any kind of Summon, whatever. This card is going to be great in so many Decks where cards Call of the Haunted is much more fragile. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Darj Posted March 15, 2017 Report Share Posted March 15, 2017 Power creep here is honesty crazyIs there a non-tellar reason to use Oasis anymore?A future release monster that makes the Wyrm type change of Oasis worth it. So far there is only Baxia, which includes Wyrms in its summoning requirements. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

~~~~ Posted March 15, 2017 Report Share Posted March 15, 2017 Hello new friend for Crane.do you live in the US? Because the rulings over there are different and that's the only reason why this would be better than CotH or OoDS Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
VCR_CAT Posted March 15, 2017 Report Share Posted March 15, 2017 Ah, clever. So this is how they exclude Links. CotH still works with links, on the flipside. Overall, I'm not sure if I would replace my use of CotH in decks that use it with this, namely Trains. Mostly because I can get some pretty good plays with Ruffian being sent to the grave all over again if I chain CotH prior to its destruction, and it remaining on the field is useful for Hustle memes. There are plays with CotH that I can do in Trains that this can't. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Thomas★Zero Posted March 15, 2017 Report Share Posted March 15, 2017 This is quite a nice card for the fact that it doesn't take up s/t space that Call does when your monster leaves the field and Call just stays their as a blank card. In addition this helps with setting up link's for the fact it makes them pop out after your opponent destroys them plus in defence helps you to protect your life points. Airride Posted March 15, 2017 Report Share Posted March 15, 2017 How...? System Down banishes stuff on the field too.Oasis changes to Wyrm, so whatever is revived by it won't get banished. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
(GigaDrillBreaker) Posted March 15, 2017 Report Share Posted March 15, 2017 I feel like trying to outplay system down is fighting a losing battle, especially when oasis is such a liability with cosmic cyclone/twin twister floating around. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
VCR_CAT Posted March 15, 2017 Report Share Posted March 15, 2017 Memes with stuff like vulcan the divine, dewloren, etc. So no, not particularly. As I implied with my uses for CotH in Trains, there are some uses. Specifically, chaining CotH to an effect that would remove it allows you to take advantage of monsters that float, which is actually very good. RttFL (RttF?) isn't able to take advantage of floats in case things go wrong, and chaining it to removal could very well mean you just straight lose the ability to use it well period, depending on when it happens and how easily the opponent can remove what it summons. Hello my name is Enguin Posted March 15, 2017 Report Share Posted March 15, 2017 Oasis changes to Wyrm, so whatever is revived by it won't get banished. Oh right, I thought he was talking about this for some reason. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Thomas★Zero Posted March 15, 2017 Report Share Posted March 15, 2017 I feel like trying to outplay system down is fighting a losing battle.Obviously due to the fact that it relies on your opponent using Machines for it to work. Still the fact that this card doesn't negate effects is really nice as well for an additional generic revival card. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
notcleverusername Posted March 15, 2017 Report Share Posted March 15, 2017 Power creep here is honesty crazy Is there a non-tellar reason to use Oasis anymore?Given that Oasis and Call of the Haunted have more/less always played best in their functionality as combo cards rather than standalone, yes, it just depends on other cards.Frontline is better as a standalone than both for the most part but is weaker combo-wise.
