I just found out an old friend across the street that played Sapphire and Ruby with me all the time back in gradeschool still plays, and has White. My friend in Marching Band has Black. I am going to transfer my team from Ruby to Platinum, beat platinum, transfer them to heart gold, beat heart gold, and transfer them to white. THIS IDEA IS SO AWESOME YAY IM SO HAPPY. :3 Oh, and on top of that, I challenged my friend to a battle next fall on a band trip. AGAIN, AWESOMESAUCE STUFFS. Anyways, enough about my Pokemon personal life. How's the weather everywhere? It's starting to warm up here, to about 80 degrees at the highest, and 60 at the lowest. Humidity kills, though. Well, the mornings and the nights are starting to get cold, so when I have to be outside the entire day, I have to take a jacket with me. I use it during the morning and during the night, but the rest of the time I have to have it in my backpack, and it takes too much space. I am seeing some trees that have flowers mostly around spring, at the end of september. Sometimes some of those trees have flowers during autumn randomly, but I see too many now, almost half of what I see during spring. It makes me think of global warming or something like that... Funny thing is, my brother said the same thing and I wrote it down in there. If you see the horrible and incomplete writing at the upper left corner of the pic, it says "[i]naranja[/i]" which means orange in Spanish lol. by the way, my brother also said that it looked like porn because she is in her "inner clothes" (because of the pumpkin panties ¬_¬" . . .) and what I say doesn't seem to have any effect on his opinion. They work well but something's out of tuning there. Trying to get more synergy and eliminating options in some combos. Sometimes I can do both things when I am supposed to choose 1 combo or another and that's bad. Sometimes I find myself with cards that don't really serve me they way I wanted to. Oh before I forget, I'm incorporating 2 features in my Deck. One of them is Exceeds in the Extra Deck, another is a new type of card invented by me (that actually goes inside the Main Deck). If due to the story of the manga, or any other reasons, we are not supposed to use those things, then I'll simply play in a way I'll never bring them out (it makes it no different from something non-existent in the Deck ;D ) I've been making my Deck thinking on all the variety I'd like to use if it was real and not on how it adjusts to the manga. Although its still usable in the manga for the most part. EDIT: In about little more than 800 posts after this, I'll be a 6-star member. Just assume my Deck is 40). I would fill in those blanks but I don't want to do extra work since I already am struggling after 3 years xD to finish my Deck. I don't want to use card that exist in real in my personal Deck either. About the activity in the club recently... Also forgive me for making you think this comment was actually going to have any content when you saw there was a new comment in the club thread ^-^" I just intended to bump. Well while I'm at it, might as well say something aleatory but interesting. I saw NickLD posting a card at the [i]Realistic Cards Section[/i] of the forum. His card must be at page 3-5 right now. I wanted to comment but I'm not sure if he would want me to (as he didn't come back to the club maybe he doesn't want to be noticed) (at this point it is just me talking to myself here ^^" ) Anyways (I must be saying that word a lot lately)......... since I kind of like my latest (incomplete) drawing, I decided to make it my avatar. It was a pain to change. No matter what I did, the previous one kept showing until I did all these: -Removed my previous avatar without putting the new one. -Erased Internet History in my computer -Closed internet -Played Solitaire -Opened internet again and visited other pages first -After a while, coming back to YCM and putting the new avatar in place. ~very annoying indeed~ BUMP? I'm getting a little bored here and every time we would have new members they never really come back (probably forget about this place and their application while they wait for their response or something).. This week I've been using this club as a diary more than a chat place.... *intending to sound bored and not depressing* Since we don't [s]draw that much[/s] show that many drawings that much anymore. We don't really talk a lot either. I was thinking... umm... that we should temporarily close this place. I keep checking it often but most of the time I'm just wasting my time because there is nothing. I keep this club in my head every time I visit the forum. Here's my proposal: Lets allow this club to plain die already. We all can keep talking to each other at DA or msn, or other sections of YCM, or something. More like an "official rest". If one of us feels like its the time to come back then do so whenever you want... For anything else I can be contacted by PM, at DA, or at MSN, but I don't want to come back to this thread in this state (at least those are my current intentions) Sooooo... If you want to leave, then fine. I've been fighting to keep the club alive for awhile now, and I keep hearing the excuse "I don't have the time," and that that is why every single member only posts here when they have nothing else to do. The only reason any of you would want to "lay the club to rest" is because you don't want to feel as if you have the responsibility of checking up on it. I know this because I have felt the same for the past year, but the difference between us is that I have kept on fighting; taking suggestions and incoperated ideas to form the club and keep it living. But no one does anything with them, or actually put any effort into these projects, let alone think of their own. I'm sorry for the rant, but I am truley the only on doing the work anymore. Maybe if you hadn't refused to let me recreated the thread, sleepy, I could have done more for us as far as our page on YCM goes. But you felt you were "managing it well," and that I could just "tell you what I wanted." The time lapse between what I say and what you do was something I knew was going to be inefficient from the start, but you wouldn't listen. No one would listen, no one would care. Everyone left. One by one, we died. One by one, we dissappeared. Though, I would like to think this would be good for me, I tried to keep it from happening. Now I can move on with my life instead of trying to accomplish something that I couldn't: getting people to care about something they got bored of long ago. So if I'm the only one that cares any more, then fine. So be it. Let us be dead. Let us die. It is finished. The ALD is dead. Long live the memory of the ALD. If you want to keep it alive, then do it on your own. I'm not hand feeding any of you anymore. The truth is, I'd never give up on this club, and I never will. I'm just smart enough to know when a lost cause has hit me in the face and jabbed me in the stomach more than once, and I've had enough.
