What about Greek Gods as support for the protagonists? We had Egyptian Gods and Polar Gods why not Greek? I hate crossovers (I didn't mind the odd one done well like Pegasus in GX esp after the anime let him live, rather than die like the manga), Judai Vs Yugi was like a bad fanfic, I refuse to accept 179 past the graduation party. The school was done already, would have been nice if 5Ds focused more on the social issues between Neo Domino and Satellite, they sort of skimmed it really with the whole Team Satisfaction/Reactions to Jack being born in Satellite/Daedalus bridge. Original: Kaiba's awesomeness GX: Kaiba's attitude divided by Chazz and Zane 5ds: Kaiba's dragon fetish divided into 5 main character's key cards.
