TotalObelisk Posted February 12, 2012 Report Share Posted February 12, 2012 Responding to attacks is easier if you don't just pick up right where they leave off, overlap a bit and show your character's reactions to previous moves or their own thoughts while they're waiting for their turn. Occupation: Dueling Mercenary Dorm: N/a Personality: Dhark can be classified as clinically insane and unstable. They say that losing his sight at such an early age caused him to start on a downward spiral into madness. His thought process can be impulsive and irrational, but in the end he always seems to come up with some strategy to win at whatever he puts his mind to. First impressions make people believe Dhark is a rather unsavory character, but he will be anyone’s best friend…..for a fee of course. Biography: Dhark never had a normal childhood. It was one of seclusion, while other children played outside. He locked himself away in his house’s basement, fiddling around with this and that, wires and circuits, nuts and bolts.. It was this tinkering that lead to the making of his special helmet, allowing him to see the auras that everything seemed to give off. While not a practical item to have per say, it soon became useful to Dhark, when an experiment gone wrong exploded in his face, and rendered him blind. The loss of his sight sent him spiraling out of his mind. He soon found solace in losing his sight, but he was too far gone to be saved. His dueling became reckless, but time after time he pulled a victory from certain defeat. Years down the road he was able to rebuild his special laboratory, but his constant need for supplies, so he became a mercenary, which would supply him with enough money to be able to further his more….insane research. His figure is lean, with blue and brown eyes (heterochromic), full lips, and thick eyebrows. He often wears a black coat and a green shirt undrneath that. His usual ensemble is capped off with black pants and black boots. His cheekbones are rather prominent and his fingernails are often chewed upon. His teeth are also rather crooked, though he keeps up with his hygiene. Occupation: Student Dorm: Slifer Red Personality: Split. Sometimes, he is easygoing, pleasant, and nice, but remind him of his flaws (lying, somewhat uncaring, overly focused on games and girls), and he can be extremely tempermental. He is lonely, but mistrustful, only rarely talking to people. He likes girls, but prefer they approach him. He hates to take on emotional problems relating to him. He tends to be rather twitchy around people, especially when he is tempted to do bad things. Despite all this, he is very intelligent, which is helpful in his dueling skills. Biography: He and his sister, Molly, was born to a low-class family, but was put through the adoption program when he was 8. The family that adopted him told him he was to care for her, but he refused to take responsibility, instead tricking her into stealing for him. Eventually, she got caught, and was sent to a mental hospital after it was discovered that parts of her brain were damaged due to a stroke at childbirth. Though he didn't get in trouble, his step mother laid a serious guilt trip on him. He was then shipped to Duel Academy to get his life back together. He believes that this place is his last chance at redemption. The guilt for his manipulation of his sister still haunts him. He has two younger brothers who go to different schools. He discovered Duel monsters after seeing a display at a store and was instantly attracted to light attribute and fairy type monsters. Height:6' 0" Weight:135lb. Duel Disk: Black with Blue trim. Personality also needs to be 3-4 lines. Strengthen that as well. 3. Biography needs to be 6 or more lines. I know it's too much effort, but needs to be that long..
