You would actually be surprised by how much battle destruction safety can be helpful in Chance format. In the duel against Frex in the tournament he was stuck behind my Marshmallons for a long time, and in one duel we had together yesterday he was sitting behind his monsters for turns because I just couldn't do anything about them not being destroyed in battle.
