[spoiler=Ayame]"The shadows will never truly die."

Username: Simdoggy

Name: Ayame Kaguya (Possessed by the Remnants of the Shadow Realm)

Age: 18

Gender: Female

Appearance: Ayame is rather tall for a female, standing at 5'11", and has her body in peak physical condition. Her arms and legs are toned and without any extra flab, but without the massive bulk of a body builder. She has long black hair, which contrasts well with her lighter skin tone, and is usually tied in a ponytail, with a spiked length of metal woven through it to prevent it being used as a weapon against her, and dark green eyes. She wears a C cup bra, and though she is seen as cute and attractive, she doesn't believe so, as she believes that she has had to sacrifice her beauty to get to the peak physical condition she is in.

While at the academy Ayame wears the typical uniform, the black skirt and button shirt, but replaced the knee length socks and loafers with more sensible socks and a pair of leather work boots she prefers to wear. While on assignment, she wears a tight fitting t-shirt and a pair of camouflage cargo shorts, along with her boots and a vest to carry any necessary equipment she requires. When she's off school and relaxing, she usually wears a tight fitting t-shirt still and either a pair of denim shorts if she's out, or a pair of board shorts when relaxing at home.

With the demon’s possession successful, Ayame’s green eyes have changed colour, turning to a sickly yellow with vertical slits in the place of her pupils. Her fingernails are also changed, elongating and turning into hard, pointed claws. She has also gained black, leathery wings of her own from the possession, and her skin has toughened and turned more of a grey, chalky colour. Her upper and lower canines have also extended slightly, becoming more pronounced from the rest of her teeth

Biography: Ayame, along with Naomi, were invited to help out Emiya after the demons in their world managed to find their way out of hell en-mass and start to bring about a demon apocalypse. At the same time, they found weird memories of the world as if nothing was happening to it. After finding out at least partially why when after Emiya explained to them what was happening, they both agreed to come along together and help him out in his mission, to try and restore the balance of all the worlds and save their own.

During the first arc, Ayame had a run-in with one of the Divine, Darcy, and ended up arguing over reasons for fighting, during which Darcy revealed what Isamy had told them of her goal, and that the Divine were going to be given a chance to rewrite their universes if the group successfully opens the Door to the Origin. At the end of the arc, as the realm collapsed, some Remnants of the Shadow Realm successfully managed to enter her mind, only to be trapped, unable to take possession of her by the ring Emiya gave everyone of the Counter Corps, a ring she hadn’t put on until that moment. During the fight against LERNA, Ayame’s ring, along with Naomi’s ring which she had given to Ayame to try and stabilize the power of the rings, both broke, freeing the Remnants to take over Ayame’s mind. Once they had taken control, their first act was to kill Naomi, before deciding to join the fight against LERNA.

Personality: Ayame has a fairly friendly and bubbly personality, something she developed a few years ago to help her depressed friend. Before then, she was rather closed off and shy, only talking to Naomi and the group that had developed around her. She is also rather smart and is near the top of most of her classes, which infuriates those with similar marks, as she rarely seems to put any effort into class work, preferring to go out and party instead. She does seriously work on her combat abilities, making sure to bring them up to scratch so as she can protect her friends, and in particular Naomi if needed, and at times when she fights, she can get so consumed in the fight that she'll stop thinking of anything else and just fight in a haze of blind fury, perfectly suiting her place as a berserker. Over the last couple of years she has also developed a bit of a stubborn attitude of not caring what others think of her, and has ended up being quite sarcastic at times, and is confident in herself, though not in matters to do with love.

With the remnants having taken over her mind, Ayame is much crueler than previously, her friendly attitude and bubbly personality gone. Instead, she enjoys everyone else’s misery and misfortune, taking joy from their despair. Despite this, she had a new aim, the successful opening of the Door to the Origin, to allow her to rewrite her destruction, and bring back the original shadow realm. If anyone attempts to get in her way while she tries that, she will react harshly, focusing on killing them if she has the time to spare to get into a fight, or otherwise just trying to hurt them to remove them from her way. She also no longer allows herself to get consumed in a fight, instead fighting with her brain rather than entirely on instinct, allowing her to take notice of other important things going on around her in a fight.

Faction: The Divine (Formerly Counter Corps)

Important Artifact Stolen: Kokuen - A Caladbolg, a sort of semi-sentient weapon. This particular one is the Caladbolg of a legendary demon slayer.

[spoiler=Powers/Equipment]

Weapon: A plain collapsible staff made of a titanium and sliver alloy to be strong and well conductive of electricity, 2 metres long. She also has the sword that once belonged to Lyon, the blade of which is hewn from a single piece of ice and engraved with a pair of black ink patterns, one on each side that resemble a dragon. The engravings of the dragons will, when fuelled with mana, manifest as black flames, capable of freezing nearly anything, and can be controlled and formed into shapes by the wielder of the blade.

Ability: Her aura is a simple lightning aura, which she manifests jointly between a physical boost and her elemental abilities. The physical side of it tends to give a passive increase over her physical abilities, increasing strength, speed, agility, resilience and regeneration a small amount, though she's also trained to increase most of them through training her physical body. The elemental side manifests itself through an ability to control lightning, which she is working on improving, and allows her to wield a number of lightning techniques, her most often used of which is to have a constant lightning current flowing around her body and, when she wants, her staff as well. She can also shoot off small bolts of lightning when she wants, and control nearby sources of lightning if she needs. She can also use what she calls Lightning Shocker, which manifests itself as a violent ball of lightning energy, about the size of a tennis ball that Ayame then shoots off in the direction she wants. If it hits it delivers a strong jolt of lightning to whoever it hits, of similar strength to her lightning bolts, but just being near the sphere as it flies past will cause smaller jolts of lightning that were sparking off it to fly off at you.

Ace Technique: It's not quite a game finisher technique, but it is her strongest ability which allows her to fight on par with some of the fastest opponents, or temporarily stop an opponent in their tracks. Ayame calls it Nerve Shocker, and it works by tapping the back of the neck, be it hers or someone else's, to send a jolt of lightning straight into the nervous system. At low amounts of lightning, it speeds up the reaction time of the person it's used upon, in exchange for dealing a small amount of damage to the nervous system, prolonged use or multiple uses without allowing the body to recover can turn that damage into permanent damage, risking a complete shutdown of the nervous system. With a high amount of lightning, it won't completely shutdown the nervous system, but it can induce a temporary paralysis to the target. If this is done a couple of times without allowing the nervous system to recover enough, it can induce the same effect as prolonged exposure to the low voltage version, causing permanent damage to the nervous system.

New Abilities: With the remnants’ possession of Ayame, she now has access to the dark powers the remnants managed to bring along with them. The major effect of that and the possession is a change in her aura, the once pure lightning aura has been tainted and appears more like a lightning and darkness hybrid aura. In addition to that, the aura radiates the same darkness and corruption of the shadow realm, reaching about a metre past her in every direction. As well as that, her lightning abilities have changed from their original form to a sort of dark lightning, which now carries an additional effect when it hits an enemy. Instead of just electrocuting them, the lightning will also slowly pass on the taint of the shadow realm, able to completely convert a human into one of the corrupted denizens of the shadow realm within approximately half a minute of the lightning hitting directly. Even if it doesn’t hit directly and fully convert them, indirect hits from the lightning will still wear on the mind of the person, slowly tainting them with any damage from the lightning. While the aura itself can’t completely corrupt someone, if in range of someone getting damaged by the dark lightning, it will enhance the corruption, shortening the process. Her final ability gained from the remnants is the ability to create her own reality marble, becoming a copy of the Castle Necrophades and the surrounding planes, about 2 miles across in total, that also has the same aura of darkness and corruption across the whole reality marble. For someone who stays in the reality marble for too long, it can completely corrupt them like the original shadow realm could, though for that to work they need to be trapped inside for at least a full 24 hours to take hold. While inside the marble, she also has the ability to manifest any voidlings that the remnants have some memory or recollection of, and can take full control of their movements inside the marble. She also possesses the ability to absorb the fragmented memories and what remains of the magical core of any voidlings corrupted by her lightning or reality marble since the beginning of her possession and then killed, thus giving her the ability to manifest them inside her reality marble as well.

Sort of, it's more like the manifestation of the shadow realm that was attempting to avoid complete destruction by escaping into her body and mind, more like a concept forced into sentience to escape what would otherwise be its destruction. She is partially descended from the beings from her world's shadow realm anyway, so she'd be one of the best candidates for such an attempt. Add that to the fact that she didn't have one of Emiya's rings on until it was attempting possession, and once the rings break, this is the end result.

Assuming that entities from the Shadow Realm are resting inside of her, does that mean that the Void Creatures, such as Hiita, Wynn, and Aussa, are also there, if only as small traces?

Possibly, but this also would mean things such as void dragons would exist inside of her head too. Also, wasn't Wynn used by LERNA to speak with or something?

I had a thought that LERNA's barrier had actually absorbed the Desert Seth, this allowing her to use the abilities/bodies of those killed there. The reusing of Silver would be such an emotional roller-coaster for those poor pokemon =(

I had a similar idea with Sayer, actually; essentially, using the essences and abilities of those killed thus far (and even before the RP's start), if only for the sake of fcuking with people's heads.

Well, she probably would have traces of the entities that were part of the shadow realm or died in the shadow realm now. If that's true, she could probably bring them into temporary existence again in her reality marble as well, though that would be limited in the number she could have appear there at once. If that's the case, it's entirely possible that she could bring the dead characters from the first life back to life temporarily inside the marble, as well as anyone else who dies inside the marble as well.

Also, would becoming L E R N A's familiar make him stronger?

Possibly, possibly not. He'll gain a different yet similar-themed skillset if he becomes a familiar, and this may either be a plus or a minus compared to his normal self.

Except that her form was part of the deal. The RJ will end up a Troy like poor Feraligatr

Since the Renegade Joker is a Class 3 Entity, being connected to another realm via Phasing (Itsu had her connection to the sun), the despair will be unable to entirely strip away his core like it did Feraligatr. LERNA is counting on this, and she will provide for him a new form over his core using the waters. Otherwise, he'd be like a normal Troy, only retaining his mind and most of his powers.

You know what's funny? When I think about it, the D-Reaper feeds on despair, and there's a whole sea of it just below her. I wonder how much despair could be converted to Chaos.

Who knows? But this despair is most likely far purer than anything the D-Reaper has ever fed on before, so attempting to convert it may prove to be dangerous, not just for others but for the entity itself. Think of it like drinking ultrapure water.

Sliferok is pretty cool. How should this affect how Dorian, Butler, and Ragnarok are referred to in Status Updates? Is this Butlerok with the powers of Dorian, who is now dead, or should I consider all three of them aspects of one character now?

It would be the latter Butlerok with the powers of Dorian who is for lack of a better term dead.
