Oooh, Yuki Kajiura. I was thinking of putting in some of her music as BGM on some of my posts. Anyway, accepted.

Could everyone also put their Race beneath their Gender or something in their app, that'd be great.

EDIT: Also added the Fleet uniform to the OP under Imperial Fleets/War Academies.

This was more writing than all of my homework this week, I hope you appreciate it!

Honestly, this was kind of fun. I added it to my application already.

EDIT: Done and done, Aix

Lucius views Lore publically as a rival in performance however finds her competitiveness and superiority complex as a threat to the world Lucius is fighting for. In private, Lucius will actively challenge Lore academically and in performance and attempt to convince her that her view of others is misguided. That said, her conviction is admirable to Lucius and he can respect her skill especially in areas she excels him in.

Lucius is rather indifferent to Herman since he doesn’t have much to do on and considers him an enigma. That said, his actions, which reflect the 3 laws, are in line with Lucius’s beliefs and treatment of intelligent life. Lucius would seek to strengthen his relation to Herman to both discover more about him and find a potential like-minded ally.

Mithna is the ideal case of people who define the world Lucius fights against. Her racism and two-sided nature seem to Lucius as dirty and sinful. However, since she is Alfar, Lucius will put on a smiling face to her and accept her insults and even go so far as to agree with her to appease her. His goal with her is to use her skills and influence as an Alfar to his advantage since her abilities are undeniably useful. That said, if she approached Lucius without warning it would be difficult for Lucius to suppress his disgust for her.

While Lucius admits he and Tobias have little chemistry. He sees nothing wrong with his way of life and actions as Lucius priorities equality over kindness. Tobias seems to Lucius as wild card and unreliable but his unique personality as an Alfar makes him likable to Lucius. Lucius will attempt to use him like other Alfar however since he senses his confusion and unique situation, he will attempt a closer relationship and capitalize on his nature. Since they both pilot similar styles of mech, he may use him as a combat rival to compare his own piloting capabilities.

Lucius views Adora complexly. On one stance, her blatant disregard for those who she dislikes is horrid to Lucius and another enemy of his purpose. On another, her obsession and love is admirable if it didn’t have such a drawback. Regardless, Lucius is cautious of Adora and will attempt to avoid overly personal interaction, since he finds her irredeemable, and just seek a relationship where he could learn from her mechanical abilities and use them on his own Valkerie until such time that it becomes absolutely necessary.

Out of all Alfars Lucius has ever met, Eryn is by far is favorite. As he said, “Eryn is kind because she understands true pain, an attribute all species should learn from.” Lucius can sense her pain and sympathizes it with his own understanding of abandonment and hardship. However, because of this, he is cautious around her and tries to not get too closely attached to avoid both taking advantage of her and gifting himself the comfort of her personality. Despite this, Lucius will attempt to protect her, on and off the field, from a distance to ensure her survival as someone he heavily approves of.

Even considering the most hostile and racist Alfar, McQueen is the most direct opposite of Lucius conceivable. From his boisterous personality to playboy lifestyle, everything he does is the opposite of how Lucius would act. Because of this though, Lucius doesn’t hate him. In fact, Lucius considers him both interesting to watch and a potential opportunity in the future. Lucius will attempt to secure a peaceful relationship and make himself one his few allies. As Lucius said, “He’s hopeless, but somehow he’s alive. There may be a reason for that.”

In Lucius’s opinion, Daiki represents the driving spirit of humanity, in all its good and bad attributes. His motivation and altruism are qualities admires but as Lucius remembers living with humans in his poverty stricken home, the addition senses of competition and single-minded drive can easily be used for selfish and hurtful purposes so he remains watchful of him. That said, he highly approves of his belief in equality and, lesser so, judgment on skill. At this stage in Lucius’s planning, he considers Daiki an ally and will attempt to closen themselves to solidify friendship and an alliance by offering his services.

Out of all of Lucius’s comrades, Ismina is the one he looks up to the most even more so than the Admiral. While her racism is presence, his distaste for her views is overshadowed by his awe for her command abilities. Lucius is respectful but more assertive to her than he typically is to the Alfar because he honestly considers his inferiority in commanding large forces as a challenge to his own skill despite his ruthless effectiveness with small numbers. If there was someone he would seek personal relationship with, it would be a rivalry with her to test his own resolve and talent.
Just in case I read the above post wrong, nobody should actually know Herrman is a robot or that he follows the three laws.

I didn't mean to say that he know he's a robot. Just that since his actions reflect the 3 laws, his actions appeal to Lucius's beliefs. I was identifying the reason that Herman's actions make Lucius like him. I know, Lucius isn't suppose to know he's a robot.

Finished the app, I fear that Chaos's character and mine might be too similar. If that is the case, I can definitely try and go back to edit it, but please note that it was completely coincidental, I only read through Chaos' character to look for possible pre-established relations.

With the pretty boy...hmmm, this may work out pretty good! Pre-established relations/hanging out ideas accepted!!
Selfish? Daiki? ...meh could see it happen XD

But regardless, I like this ^^

First week at the academy, Roy spotted Daiki and immediately picked a fight with him. After a black eye, a bloody nose, and a few bruises shared between the two of them, they somehow became best friends. That being said, the two are also endless rivals, always competing against one another in just about everything, whether it be a race in a test flight or who can eat the most cafeteria food without throwing up. Roy is slightly jealous at the way that Daiki can so elegantly pilot his Mecha, but would never admit it. Their similar appearance and close bond often gets them mistaken as brothers. In addition, Daiki tends to call Roy "Mick" and is the only person that Roy allows to do so

How's that for the relationship between the two?

@Aix, alright. Will edit my app after some sleep.

I'm also up for the pre-estalished relationships.

@Raine. I like how you actually explained your character's actual interactions and thoughts of the other characters. I think I'll do the same. So others can have a better feel for my character.

I'll get to reading everyone's apps and come up with a few suggestions as to whom I feel my character'd be friends/rivals/etc with after sleeping.

Since so many other are re-linking their characters, I suppose I shall as well.

Tobias Storstrand

And I will put this here as well for easier reference:
Tobias speaks to himself quite a lot, of many different things. Here is what he has to say about his classmates.
Lucius worries me. On the surface, he seems harmless enough, but he is the only other Valkyrie pilot I am familiar with, and his skills are on par with mine, if not beyond them. Of course, he has no spiral power, so he cannot perform quite on the same level as myself, but there is just something... familiar about him. His eyes... remind me of my own. He holds up a pretense of loyalty, but there is something else underneath it. I don't know what, but it worries me. I will have to keep an eye on this one.

Oh. The fish girl. She is... I'm not completely sure how to describe her. She is skilled, yes, as well as strong and intelligent. However, she carries with her an arrogance that makes her difficult to consider as true competition. She does not pilot a mech, but is physically superior to the rest of us by a longshot. I have no real interest in socializing with her, but I suppose I can fake it if I am confronted.

Herrman is... odd. I cannot quite place it, but something is off about this one. For now, I will continue to act as if I do not care, but I am going to figure out what is up with this guy.

Mithna? She interests me. Not in a romantic nature, although I suppose I do find her attractive, but in that, like me, she has two selves. Of course, I can be almost sure that both of hers are quite real. The more... unpleasant side is the one that truly intrigues me, as from what I can tell, she has no fear of showing it to others. She is brave, which I suppose I can admire. But not like that.

From what I can tell, Adora is just another ditsy girl. I have never payed very close attention to her, spending more of my thought on... other female alfar. She is very similar to my fake persona, so I will make an effort to acquaint myself with her, if only to maintain an image. I doubt I will enjoy it much though.

Eryn is likely the closest thing I have to a friend here. Not the fake friendships I pretend to have with everybody, but something real. I even expect that she can see through my charade on at least some level. On the battlefield, I trust her to have my back before anyone else, even the other Valkyrie pilots. I feel that my relationship with her is what it must be like to have a sister, but I really wouldn't know.

Roy is pathetic. He is strong, yes, quite possibly the strongest out of all of the humans. He is also intelligent, but that is pretty much the standard around here. Theoretically speaking, he could be the perfect specimen, if not for the fact that he has no form of self-control. His weakness to his own urges makes him into a ticking time bomb, just waiting to destroy the whole academy.

Daiki makes for an interesting contrast to Roy. While his sheer ability is lower, his spirit is stronger than anybody else's hear. Although he is only human, I am not racist, and I observe that he has the chance to surpass everyone here. With my persona, I act as if I idolize the boy, but that is only barely an exaggeration. Bravery like his is far from common.

If Lucius worries me, Ismina terrifies me. She is a genius unlike any other, and loses any form of fear or hesitation the moment she sits in that chair. I do not know her personally, but I feel that I can benefit greatly from acquainting myself with her. I may even be able to learn a thing or two.

Dark_Elf_Faec_zps891b1582.jpg

"I will prove that my people have a place in this universe!"

Personal Information

Name: Draegan

Age: 19

Sex: Male

Race: Kal'dar (Knight Caste)

Rank: Lieutenant Commander

Date of Birth: June 21
Dark_Elf_Swordsman_by_sarafim_zpsb048d62

Height: 200 cm (6'7")

Weight: 80 kg (176 lbs)

Eye Color: Electric Blue

Despite the prejudice he has received over the years from the Alfar, Draegan has managed to remain a stalwart supporter of the Empire and their goal to unite the galaxy under their rule.  In addition, the prejudice has driven him to push as hard as he can to demonstrate that his species deserves their place in the coming new order.  This drive has taken the form of a desire to enter into combat as often as he can, against the worst possible odds, and prove that he, and by extension all Kal'dar, are capable on the battlefield.  Of course it was not a fool that said "Discretion is the better part of Valor" and Draegan is not a fool either.  He has learned that charging into unwinnable battles is only foolhardy, and so he is very careful about selecting fights that he can win even if they are up against foes who might be stronger or better armed than himself.   Beyond that, the young man has decided that he will do his best to befriend as many of his comrades as he can merely out of a desire to not be alone in his service.  He has proved to be extroverted, eager to help in any situation where he can and unafraid to voice his opinions on matters even if no one winds up listening.  He does hold an admiration for the Alfar, given that they seem to have reached a point in evolution to which his people are aspiring and further admires those Humans who serve alongside them.  He believes that Humanity holds far more power than anyone else wants to acknowledge, and is eager to see where they wind up once all is said and done.

As for the Empire's military, there is a great deal about the organization of it which Draegan has never managed to understand.  It is because of this that he does not fully know what the rank of "Lieutenant Commander" means as far as his standing as a commanding officer.  He does know that he is a commissioned officer, but somehow developed the incorrect idea that he occupied the lowest rank of such and was little more than a frontline commander for a sub-unit of a mecha flight.

Born the son of a Noble Caste woman and an Artisan Caste man, Draegan was something of an oddity among his people when growing up.  Marriages between the castes were not unheard of, but simply uncommon by virtue of the often lack of shared interests between those performing their duty to society in different ways.  All the same, his life was somewhat normal all things considered, at least until he reached the age of testing.  During this time, at the very beginning of his pubescence, he was tested to find what his station in life would be and it was decided that he would become a member of the Knight Caste, those that specialized in combat through one of the symbiotic armored suits which so resembled the mechas used by other races.  Thus it was that his time as a Squire began, and he was raised into the role of one of the armored protectors of his people.

Early in his training he displayed exceptional aptitude for combat and an incredible ability to learn.  Such was his prodigious nature that he was the match of his teachers in but a few years, and made into a full Knight far sooner than anticipated.  This proved to be a boon, as those of his people who supported the Empire were required to send a fresh batch of recruits to be trained as members of a new fleet.  Thus it was that Draegan was sent far from his home planet to be trained in Academy 9, and ultimately become one of the fleet's Mecha Pilots.

Void Sustainability:  By virtue of being a Kal'dar, Draegan was born with several "abilities."  The first is the ability to make gradual changes to his body over time.  This usually takes an amount of time somewhere in the nature of a fortnight, and during that time he is able to become more and more accustomed to environments such that they no longer bother him.  For now, and likely for a very long time to come, Draegan has chosen to adapt his body to function within the void of space without the need of a specialized suit.

Regeneration:  The second of his inherent abilities is an incredibly high rate of regeneration, allowing him to recover from most injuries in mere moments.  This cannot save him from fatal wounds, such as having his head lopped off, and if he wants to recover a severed limb he must either first manually reattach it or else have a great amount of down-time to allow him to ingest a great deal of organic and inorganic matter which his body can use to grow another limb.  This process never takes less than four weeks, and depending on the specifics of the situation could take longer.

Immunities:  Finally, due to the unique nature of the Kal'dar as a fusion of mortal and machine they are completely immune to diseases and poisons and by extension so is Draegan.  This does of course only extend to those such things which are harmful to organic life.  So, if there existed a pathogen of some sort that was able to harm creatures like the Kal'dar they would have no defense against it as in the absence of pathogens capable of harming them the Species lost their immune systems.

Close Combat Skills:  Draegan is highly adept at close combat, such that he could be considered a specialist or even an expert in the matter.  Skewing the use of overpowering strength or speed, he instead relies upon the careful application of exactly the amount of force needed to achieve a certain task.  Whether it be disarming an enemy or evading a blow, if it comes to fighting up close you can almost guarantee that this Kal'dar can manage it.

Natural Attributes:  Simply because he is skilled does not mean he skews strength and agility entirely, quite the opposite in fact.  Years of training have granted Draegan a significantly above average level raw natural ability in the terms of what his muscles and reflexes can manage.  Certainly not the strongest or the quickest in the fleet, but the way he uses both in combination with each other and the precision with which he does is most certainly noteworthy.

Interfacing:  Draegan is able to interface with the Knight's Armor Symbiote which functions as his mech.  This interfacing means that he essentially acts as the brain and consciousness behind it, and all of his own personal skills and abilities are as useful in it as they would be if he were doing it himself.  The addition of the Thruster Pack bound to the Symbiote's nervous system grants him even greater maneuverability, and when "piloting" his "mecha" he displays a level of skill that many have called prodigious.  However, in the cockpits of more traditional mechas he finds himself struggling to work out how to properly control them and winds up making a fool of himself.
Mecha

Name: KAS Gerridon

Type: Knight's Armor Symbiote
ATMT_01_Dragon_by_maxarkes_zpscc507afb.j

Standing as tall as a full-sized mech, KAS Gerridon is, like all other "mechas" of its type, designed to fill a role which complements its pilot's skills.  In Gerridon's case, that is the roll of a front-line fighter meant to meet the enemy's mechas head-on and disrupt enemy formations.  It should be noted that, like all others of its type, Gerridon does not come equipped with any integrated weapon systems.  While this would normally be a crippling deficiency for a mecha, it is done for good reason.  In the absence of integrated weapons is a vast system of semi-organic muscle and nerve which interfaces directly with the "pilot" who enters the "cockpit" at the back of the Symbiote's neck.  The process of interfacing would slowly and painfully kill any non Kal'dar, due to the fact that a normal Synthetic or Organic body would not be able to sustain the damage done.  Due to the unique composition of this "mecha's" body, the Gerridon is capable of regenerating not entirely unlike the knight who interfaces with it.  This does not occur at a rate such that it effects combat, but rather acts as a sort of "self-repair protocol"  to allow it to rebuild itself after combat has ended, though this process takes several days depending upon the amount of damage done. The KAS is also an incredibly strong unit able to cleave full-sized mechas in two with a single stroke of a melee weapon and capable of carrying quite heavy weapons into battle and fire them without suffering from recoil. The downside to this is, aside from the Thruster Pack which quite literally grows from its back, Gerridon lacks any sort of propulsion.  Thankfully, the aforementioned Thruster Pack allows it to maintain an average level of speed and maneuverability.  What this means is that the unit is highly dependent upon the Knight within to ensure that it is not too heavily damaged by fire before it can reach its target.  Assisting in this is the highly advanced array of sensory organs contained within the head, giving the Knight a multi-spectrum view of the battlefield and even a way of detecting things such as missile lockons and signal jammers.

Below is a list of the weaponry which Gerridon most commonly carries into battle.  It can be equipped with other weapons as necessary.

High-Energy Plasma Great Sword:  Taking the form of a two-handed hilt, this weapon functions by projecting a mass of super-heated plasma out to a length comparable to the height of a full-sized mech in roughly the shape of a sword's blade.  The penetrative capabilities of this weapon are so great, that it is hypothesized a strike from it could even damage the armored hull of a starship in a meaningful way though no models of this weapon have ever made it close enough to try.  It stands to note that the weapon, despite being only a hilt in most cases, is such a heavy thing that it is unwieldy for standard mechas to wield in all but two hands while the unique design of the KAS variant allows them to wield it with ease in one hand while maintaining the ability to strike two-handed.

Assault Rail Cannon:  A modified form of the standard Rail Cannon weapon, this variant sacrifices the normal range and accuracy associated with Rail Cannons in favor of a rate of fire more comparable to an assault rifle.  Because of this, the weapon has changed to be a mid-range weapon useful for short bursts of high-powered fire capable of rendering enemy mechas inoperable in but a few moments with little regard for personal shielding or armor.  The downside is that outside of medium range it really falls flat.  In closer range engagements, there are many lighter weapons with higher rates of fire and in longer ranges there are the standard heavier weapons.  Still, it fills its niche and performs its role nicely.

Fanged Maw: Perhaps the most terrifying weapon upon Gerridon is the Fanged Maw contained within its head.  This normally invisible part of its anatomy is hidden behind locking armored plates that part when it is to be opened.  It is, as one would expect, a set of jaws bearing teeth capable of tearing through almost anything.  Its use is normally to allow KAS units to consume organic or inorganic matter to fuel their regeneration abilities...and because of that it can be used for a far more grizzly purpose.  Once an enemy mech has been disabled, with the pilot still inside, they can be cracked open and the now helpless pilot becomes food for the KAS, along with a fair portion of his mech.  Those eaten are often dead, and if they are not then they meet an end very quickly as they are broken down into their base components.

Diary entry 2467.

This will likely be the last time that I have the ability to write in this diary, as within a few more days my service to the Empire will begin in earnest.  It seem that I have been assigned to the Admiral's Flagship, along with a number of my other classmates.  Below I have decided to record the manner in which I have interacted with them so far, in case some future insight is needed into the goings on of this Academy.

Lonn Alfadir: The Admiral and I haven't been around each other much, likely due to other Alfar doing what they can to keep one of the "lesser races" away from him.  Still, when we have been around one another I have to say that we've not had negative interactions...or really positive ones.  His apathy shows through to anyone with eyes to see, and I am uncertain what to think of this.  So far as specifics, I think he has found the "casual tone" I take with him refreshing in more recent months.  Just as much so as other Alfar are offended by it, I will never be used to a society in which not all are equal.  All the same, I think I will make a point of being around the Admiral more in the future.

Lucius Yishmaél:  I find this human more confusing than any of the others admittedly.  Whenever I have inquired about this "god" of his, he has proceeded to make a large number of nonsensical claims that the universe was constructed by some sort of power above and beyond our comprehension.  Ultimately, he's gotten angry every single time that we've discussed it and once he actually attacked me when I stated that it is the spirits of those long past that have made everything we see.  We've even engaged in a few duels in our "Mechas" as a result of his frustration, in which we've typically come to a draw as the combat cooled his head and he requested that we break it off.  I can't say any of this is entirely unfamiliar, but all of it together is simply incomprehensible to me.

Lojr'Ehnajh Zhullejh:  I will never be able to properly pronounce that name, so it is a good thing that when I asked her name she first spelled it for me and then ultimately gave me the name which she goes by to those not of her people.  Her assertion of superiority to all others is not something I would have expected, and the confidence associated with it is refreshing.  Most of our interaction has occurred during combat training, and unless I miss my guess I would say that she enjoys our bouts against one another.  She has also proven to be far more adept with the personal ranged weaponry we are asked to wield, and I will have to find the chance to obtain her assistance in learning to properly use them.

Herrman:  Likely one of the easiest to understand that I've met.  He sees being here as his purpose, and has every intention of enacting his purpose.  That said, he is far too cold for my tastes and has only shown emotion during our bout of conversation out of some sort of obligation.  He's also shown a strange amount of interest in the Gerridon...which I am uncertain how to interpret.

Mithna:  I have found a great deal of joy in angering this one, and have made it a goal of mine to comment about how my people deserve a place in the universe whenever I am around her even if the conversation would not normally call for it.  Were I not able to find pleasure in her anger and frustration at me, I would likely have slit her throat in her sleep already.  However she has done some good for me, as now I finally understand why some of my people would prefer the chaotic mess of government that is the confederation.

Tobias Storstrand:  Another refreshingly confident person I've met, Tobias has actually been quite social even to me.  I've found myself in more than a few conversations about various subjects with him, and his attempts to befriend me have not gone unnoticed.  Of course he has shown to be uncomfortable when pressed to talk about himself, or really any deeper conversations than the usual small talk, so actually becoming friends might be a bit of an issue.

Adora D'anjinus:  Ah, Adora.  She's probably one of the most physically attractive girls whom I will be serving with.  What's more is that strange level of fascination she shows with everything at every time...until you spend ten minutes talking with her.  She has shown quite a deal of interest in the Gerridon's workings, and I would be more than happy to explain them to her...if I actually had any idea how to do so.  The next time she asks, I'll have to find a proper explanation of the workings to use.  On another note, I'll have to work out some way to get her to stop asking for tissue samples from me.  Sure the first time she took one was alright, but having a cubic centimeter of your flesh cut out gets old after a while...as does the fascination she shows when I ultimately regenerate right before her eyes.  And then there was that time when she cut too deep and drew blood, something about the "bizarre incandescence" of it must have been fascinating to her.  I don't think I could survive a romantic relationship with her.

Eryn Strayde:  Almost the exact opposite of Adora, aside from their similar level of physical attractiveness, I really find myself enjoying being around Eryn.  I recall she once saw my regeneration at work and asked me "doesn't that hurt?" with the most adorable expression of honest caring I have ever seen.  I have to say that I think we've grown close, as her skillset and the armament for her mecha compliment my own and we've been working together quite a bit.  And then there's the fact that she's taken every opportunity to fix up a little something sweet for me.  I'll have to find a way to return the favor, and not in combat.  She's really doesn't seem to enjoy my acting as a "meat shield" for her in the training maneuvers.

Roy McQueen:  I think I know why the Alfar have such a low opinion of humans now.  I mean sure, Roy's a decent guy but every time I've ever seen him he's been trying to get in some or another girl's pants.  If memory serves, I think I actually socked him in the face when I saw him going after Eryn once.  Still, his persistence is admirable even if the crushing majority of the Alfar women he's gone after will never respond positively to his advances.  There's also the issues he's had with Authority, and whenever anyone, including myself, has given him orders during a training session he's done everything he can to go against them.  I wonder if reverse psychology would be effective in getting him to properly function on the field of battle.  His skill in combat is admirable, the same instance in which I socked him in the face ultimately led to us calling the bout a draw when we'd each made the other too sore to continue, and so I'll be keeping a close eye on him.

Rikuto Daiki:  Not really sure what to think of him really.  Admittedly he's attractive, and his competitive nature has seen me drawn into challenges with him on more than one occasion, but he is almost as bad as many of the Alfar here.  He's almost constantly insisting that Humans are the superior species, and while I do admire them I really have to say that in purely physical terms they are not.  Of course they do have their points but I would never admit to that in Daiki's presence, because I would never hear the end of it if I did.  Still, if it came down to it in a battle I would almost certainly trust him with my life purely because of his skills.  I've seen full knights who weren't as adept in "mecha" combat as he is, and then there's the fact that his combat skills mesh well with mine.

Ismina Rivaille:  Probably one of my favorite officers, I would be hard pressed not to follow one of her orders if they came to me.  She might not be all that enjoyable to talk to on a personal level, as her shyness prevents conversations from going very far, but in every single training session that has involved her command she's proven to be "worth her salt" is the expression I believe.  I do find myself wondering what she thinks of me, as I've never been able to get more than a few polite words out of her in conversation, but all the same in battle I would trust her orders above all else.

Verena Gudrun:  Not much to say really.  For some reason or another she doesn't seem to like me, and has avoided speaking with or interacting with me on a personal level at every opportunity she gets.  Still, it's better than what I normally get from Alfar so I can't really hold anything against her.

Tim Tim:  I don't really understand how a Hamster can garner as much attention as he does, but even I have to admit the little guy is pretty adorable.  Definitely thinks he's bigger than me, and has the personality of someone a hundred times his size...but he's a hamster all the same

Rose D'anjinus:  Definitely more sociable than her sister, she combines the girl's looks with a personality that would make her the envy of just about anyone else.  I'll have to make a point of being around her the next time that I need to try and get her sister to stop coming at me with a scalpel.  As for the two of us, she's definitely the single most respectful Alfar I've met.  I can't say what she thinks of my people, as she's not said anything to me on the subject, but I think she respects me in some way.  She's a great deal of fun to have a bout against, whether that be in "mecha" or on two feet.  I'll have to see what she thinks about my skill once I grow my second pair of arms, because then I won't have to expend quite so much energy in opening up her guard.

Rygan Ravandwyr:  Another one of those oh so competitive souls that make me simply enjoy living, I wouldn't mind making friends with Rygan.  His loyalty to the Empire is further admirable, though expected given that he is an Alfar.  Our interactions have mostly been in training, as he doesn't seem to have much time for anything aside from that, and even there mostly against one another.  It's almost like he seeks me out during those mock battles they have us fight to challenge me, or else we just get incredibly lucky in finding each other on the field.  I'll have to see what he's like in hand-to-hand combat some time, as I am certain he will not disappoint.
Other:

Draegan's general theme: Two Steps From Hell - The Adventure Of A Lifetime

Draegan's theme for interfacing with the Gerridon: Two Steps From Hell - Icarus

Draegan's combat theme: Two Steps From Hell - All Is Hell that Ends Well
Completely done now, interactions, themes, and all.

Changed the Plasma Great Sword to be qualitative in its description.

@Neph: Your bio looks all good from my end.

I thought I'd take a crack at these character interactions myself. Just let me know if any of you object to what i have written down. will add entries for Lonn Verena and Draegan when they're all finished.

Since Lucius is the officer that Eryn is most often immediately subordinate to (she's often assigned to cover his Valkyrie unit in her Silver Bullet), she has spent a good deal of time around him both on and off the battlefield. Since he is a human, she finds it very easy to interact with him, since he carries no prejudice toward her for being part Alfar, and he seems to empathize with her situation in life (which is more than can be said for the vast majority of people she's met). Although she finds him pleasant and kind, he often comes off as somewhat aloof in her presence. As a result, their friendship isn't quite as close as Eryn would prefer it to be. Despite this, she trusts him implicitly, and considers him an excellent commanding officer. She'll almost always make time to have a short chat or help him out with a task if she can, and Lucius is one of the many people she is ready and willing to bake for.

Lore's competitiveness and attitude of superiority are in direct contrast to Eryn's meek and supportive personality. It would be a stretch to say that they don't get along, however. Eryn finds it easier to look past their personal differences than to disagree strongly with her, and she sees some parallels between her own situation and Lore's, since both girls are the only ones of their kind at the academy. Still, Eryn often finds herself feeling envious of Lore's physical prowess and confidence, since she herself is lacking in these. Like most of her fellow cadets, Lore is still deserving of Eryn's support and encouragement despite their differences, and she tries her best to maintain a friendly, professional relationship with her.

Eryn tries her best to befriend Herrman, but he just seems so.... indifferent toward her. Sure, they get along fine, but try as she might, she's been unsuccessful in all of her attempts to seriously get to know him. The fact that this is so frustrates her, although it could also have something to do with the fact that he doesn't seem to like pastries for some reason. Still, she finds him to be pleasant, and the two work well together despite their relationship being strictly professional.

Eryn's relationship with Mithna is a complicated one. On the one hand, she finds it easy to get along with the younger cadet, since on the surface they both display similar personalities. However, Eryn's life experience has taught her to be ever weary, and as well she's very aware of Mithna's prejudice. To be fair, Eryn's not entirely sure whether or not this prejudice extends to her (although she's pretty sure it does), but the fact that Mithna is so prevents Eryn from truly getting to know Mithna at all. She maintains a friendly, yet cautious demeanor when dealing with Mithna, although Eryn's certainly not above lending the younger cadet her assistance in any way possible, nor is she unwilling to share anything she bakes with her fellow pilot. All in all, whatever misgivings Eryn has, she keeps them hidden away, and she tries her best to appear to be a friend to the younger cadet.

Eryn is in contact with Toby (her somewhat affectionate nickname) for Tobias on an almost constant basis, due to the fact that they're often assigned to sortie as wingmen since their mecha compliment each other's capabilities. Tobias's happy-go-lucky attitude reminds Eryn quite a bit of her younger brother Leos, although its fairly obvious to her that Tobias is a lot more intelligent than he lets on. The two of them get along fairly well, although Eryn sometimes finds him grating and Tobias seems to be rather aloof and adverse to anything more than small talk. Still, she's always ready to give him a hand, and Eryn of course can't help but treat the both of them to some sort of pastries before a sortie.

Eryn.... doesn't really know what to think about the pop star-obsessed scientist. Her personality and mannerisms are just as strange to Eryn as the fact that they both share the same birthday and are the same age. Still, she doesn't really dislike Adora, although she certainly can get on Eryn's nerves easily. That being said, Eryn isn't mechanically capable, and so Adora is invaluable when there's a problem with her mech.

Eryn is a bit put off by Roy's playboy tendencies, but she can't deny that he's an excellent pilot. More or less forced to work with him due to the fact that Roy's Brynhildr is one of the few machines that can reliably keep up with her Silver Bullet, the two of them get along well enough. Eryn doesn't really appreciate him hitting on her, and so far she's been able to resist any sort of advances he's made, but somewhere deep down a part of her secretly enjoys being noticed in that way (she'll never admit to it, if she's even aware of it). Other than that, she has nothing but good things to say about his piloting skills.

Eryn's not quite sure what Daiki thinks of her. On one hand, they have their human ancestry in common, but on the other, Eryn's mostly Alfar genetics and ability to use spiral power might make him dislike her somewhat. That being said, Eryn herself very much enjoys working with Daiki, and she finds his determination and resolve uplifting. She also see's eye-to-eye with him when it comes to their piloting abilities, since the both of them possess a high level of natural talent despite their differing fighting styles. Like many of her fellow cadets, Eryn will bake Daiki something sweet from time to time, and she's always there if he needs someone to confide in.

Another officer that Eryn finds herself taking orders from from time to time, Ismia is nice enough, although like most Alfar Eryn has met its plainly obvious that Ismia views Eryn in much the same way as a human, perhaps even worse due to the stigma associated with being a hybrid. Still, Eryn's personality and position prevent her from really expressing any misgivings she might have, and the fact that Ismia is still polite and courteous certainly holds some weight as well. Eryn respects her for her command abilities , although its difficult to say whether or not the two will ever truly get along.

EDIT: and yes, she really, really likes baking things.

================================================

ADORA'S PERSONAL LOG ON FELLOW STUDENTS...
================================================

. . . [ 1 ]LUCIUS

. . . [ 2 ]LORE

. . . [ 3 ]HERRMAN

. . . [ 4 ]MITHNA

. . . [ 5 ]TOBIAS

. . . [ 6 ]ERYN

. . . [ 7 ]MCQUEEN

. . . [ 8 ]DAIKI

. . . [ 9 ]ISIMA

[ 1 ] Lucius.  Lucius is one of the very few humans to strike my fancy, if only for his fantastic labwork.  He is relatively distant from me, something I regret to think is due to my treatment of his kind.  It's not my fault I was born of a higher and more noble race than he;  that is something that was simply up to the great universe to decide.  Lucius has proven himself to be incredibly valuable in the lab;  rarely does he miss an observation, and rarely does his skill in chemistry go to waste.  An interesting individual indeed.

[ 2 ] If I do say so myself, this... abomination is a conceited b****.  All brawn and no brain.  She thinks herself to be quite high and mighty, but in actuality she's even less than human;  at least they try to emulate the perfection of us Alfar.

[ 3 ] Herrman.  He's inexplicably odd.  I don't have much to say about him save that he's always around that... I keep forgetting his name.  Lin?  Lane?  Lonn?  It doesn't matter, Herrman will usually attempt to keep a distance between him and I.  If only I could get... Mr. L... yes, I'll call him that, if only I could get Mr. L alone.  Then maybe I would gain enough footing to meet my darling.

[ 4 ] A paragon of our kind, and a true Alfar if I have ever seen one.  I pride myself in knowing such an astounding person.  She is kind, humble, and sometimes her sense of humor can really uplift my spirits after a long boxing match with science in the lab.  I especially love her tone of voice when dealing with those humans.  Yes, she is quite the wonderful character.

[ 5 ] Tobias...  Oh, sweet Tobias.  If I wasn't already smitten with a certain someone you may be the one other person whom I may consider opening up to.  I know your true nature, Tobias, and I've spent enough time around you to know that you are much more than you let on.

[ 6 ] Disgusting.  I only deal with this one on a strict maintenance schedule.  Talking any more with this thing makes me want to throw up.  If I didn't have a keen eye for the law, I may have already had this one disappear.

[ 7 ] Oh, this is the macho man.  I secretly think he gets around simply to find the fact that he is a closet homosexual.  Not that there is anything wrong with this, but the gratuitous amount of testosterone exerted by this man kind of pisses me off.  Sometimes, however, I forget that he is human, and then feel sorry for him.  Silly me.  *Note:  Do not let this man near your loved ones.  While he may come off as a charmer, he is, in fact, a huge asshole.

[ 8 ] Ugh.  Next.

[ 9 ] Part of me looks up to this girl (funny enough, she's around my height; thank goodness).  She is a good Alfar, and a respectable warrior.  If I didn't have my Vespa to aid me in combat already I may have to take tips from her;  she is simply amazing.  Her tactical mindset is also something she should be proud of.  I suspect that, if we were to play a game of that human thing called Chess (don't tell anyone I have a shred of respect for that game), then I suspect, at an equal level of play, that she definitely would have a shot at winning.
Idolizing...I like it! ^^
Eryn's not quite sure what Daiki thinks of her.
Approval rating is high, I can work with this.

Eryn really represents the type of person Lucius would like to see inherit the world. if you would agree, I'd like to have him slowly become less stand-offish over time since your character would probably be the one he'd most likely sincerely open up to first.

You might have to confront Lucius outside of professional interaction first considering how our characters think of each other. Adora's duality and emotional extremes makes Lucius very wary of her and difficult to trust. But, if you do, Lucius's personality can adjust to conform to her existence when he has to, so that'll open up how he can communicate and make a positive relationship with her.

@Aix, edited my app

-adding a bit about her race

-fleshing out her personality as far as she interacts with others in general

@everyone else

-added a bit that summarizes how Lore feels about your characters. Any comments and ideas are greatly appreciated, or if you want me to flesh it out a little more, let me know. I'll be reading everyone else's character interactions in a bit and provide a comment or suggestion as far as how our characters should interact in a bit.

I'm thinking this roleplay will have Adora come more out of isolation than anything and learn how to interact with people outside of obsessively bad relationships.  Character development!

I cannot wait to begin.

I am thinking of scrapping the more evil part of her, though, it does not feel like it fits in.  Racism will be kept, but the kidnapping and experimenting on isn't going to stay, for sure.

ouch. Not uncommon for Eryn, but nonetheless harsh. good stuff. And as for the second quote, I entirely agree with you on all points.

that's the idea. Food for everybody!

To be honest, Lore adores Eryn. She tries to get Eryn to be more assertive and have more self-confidence. Particularly because Eryn is an excellent pilot and marksman. She should be more proud of herself. Lore very much enjoys Eryn's company and conversation and somewhat feels an 'older sister' type relationship. Lore will do her best to watch out for and defend Eryn.

I like this, and I think the two of them being friends will work out quite well, especially since Lore is the member of the female cast that Eryn gets along the best with. I think I'm going to alter Eryn's opinion of Lore so that they know each other a little better, If that's alright. Girls gotta stick together, after all. XD

I entirely approve of this, and honestly I think it will be to the benefit of both characters if they start opening up to each other. as Chaos sonic said, "Fund it."

Now off to do some editing! (and add an entry for Verena, assuming she's accepted)
