(GigaDrillBreaker)
Apparently it doesn't have to be a direct attack actually It what? Holy sheet. Yeah, this has potential in D/D/D.
Blake
Gouen no Barrier -Fire Force-Normal Trap Card(1) When an opponent’s monster declares a direct attack: destroy all Attack Position monsters the opponent controls, and if you do, you take damage equal to half of the total Original ATK of the monsters destroyed by this effect, then inflict damage to your opponent equal to the damage you took. current
Progenitor
ok, that's A LOT more balanced. I'm slightly less angry, though I still don't like that this has the extreme potential to tie games.
Toffee.
So far Wind Barrier is winning this race.
Tinkerer
Then again, Quaking and Torrenting Mirror Forces might not happen. The Storming mirror force was attacked with FIRE and this one from a gust of WIND. If they were making one for each element, they might've shown the color of the following element as a beam (or something). ...then again, I could just be reading into this too much. That doesn't always mean it's actually wind.

Progenitor
This better be direct attacks in the end or I'm going to be so mad again. It really is fine at that point. All attacks is far too good.
Expelsword
You guys know this is a Mirror Force, right? It's not going to be direct attack,
Just Crouton
Plot twist: Water Force sends attack mode guys to the deck, Earth Force gives you free (EARTH) monsters from the Graveyard for each attack mode guy they got.
Trebuchet MS
Really digging how they're wording it so it's a lot more difficult for you to cheese it. If you abuse it with Rainbow Life to get massive lifegain, your opponent goes unscathed. If you have Des Wombat or anything similar, same thing, your opponent takes no damage. But if you reflect that damage...?

Thomas★Zero
In various decks using this and Ring of Destructions you could also use ring of defences to protect your life points.

If you reflect the damage, your opponent takes the damage you would have, but since you took 0 damage (because they took it instead), they don't get burned again afterwards. Which kind of makes it awful. Hell, not even kind of. Just pure awful
Mysty
Ring of Defense protects BOTH players from damage. Which kind of makes it awful. Hell, not even kind of. Just pure awful To be fair, since this and Ring are both now only inflict damage based on how much damage is dealt to you, preventing the damage that is being dealt to you means also preventing the damage that would be dealt to the opponent, i.e. what Ring of Defense does. The new TCG ruling that causes people to lose by game rule during a card resolution screws up this card heavily. I think the situation will be that an opponent has been beaten on you so much that the blast from this will kill you anyway more likely than that it will be an opponent down on his luck will find a way to swarm or summon so large that the blast from this card will only kill them; in that second scenario, this card is essentially win-more anyway. (At any other time, this just speeds up the game.) For these reasons, I'd rather just run Mirror Force.
