Name: Fa

Gender: Female

Age: 17

Race: Human

A bit of a loner, Fa always says that she prefers to do things on her own, just Fa. This has made it hard for people to pin down a solid personality for her which is the way she likes it. She tends to rotate between various personalities and her favorite thing to do is come up with new personalities.

A young Chinese girl, nothing about her stands out in particular except her eyes, which people have commented hold a sort of wisdom in them.

 

Fa'a parents dabbled in demonology for most of their life. Her mother continued this during her pregnancy despite Fa's father insisting otherwise. One night, during an attempted spell, something went haywire. And several damned souls found their way into the mother, and then to the unborn Fa. It also resulted in the house catching fire. This led to her parents to stop their research, though they don't know what had happened to their child.

 

Fa unknowingly has a connection to dead spirits. She can see and interact with them, and guide them to do tasks for her. With her command they can interact with the living world. Such as moving objects, the weight depends on how many spirits are being commanded. She can send out her own spirit to take control of objects, but her body becomes vulnerable.

I'm somewhat expecting this thread to get flooded.

I'm sure.

 

Name: Alice

Gender: ???

Age: 1000

Race: Automaton

A "young" person of indeterminate gender. They are fairly feminine in appearance and their name implies female but they claim they have no gender, and in fact have no genitalia. This is because they are a robot, and without their clothing you can see their body is made out of metal, gears, and somewhat outdated machinery. They have a pale face and long, cyan hair, with grey eyes that seem to have a sort of longing in them at all times.

 

Alice is, as one would expect, pretty robotic in attitude. They speak bluntly and in a monotone that unnerves most people who talk with them. They don't seem to understand social cues and especially not sarcasm, with a tenancy to take everything literal. The one thing about them that is most definitely not robotic is their  curiosity. They desire to learn about the world they were created into, and has taken a keen interest in the stars. They wish beyond anything else to get to go into space and discover what's out there.

 

Created 1000 years ago by an angry revolutionary who seeked to overthrow the king and rule with an iron fist, Alice's first memory was her creator being skewered by a knight. When this knight saw Alice he knew that he should destroy them, but could not bring himself to do so. Instead he snuck them out and "raised" them. He would tell them stories whenever he returned from his quests, and treated them with utmost care and respect. Then one day the knight just stopped coming back. Alice, not knowing what to do, waited for a month before setting out into the world.

 

Alice is absurdly strong, especially for their size, and has the ability to reassemble herself. If she suffers enough damage, or doesn't fully reassemble quick enough, she will die.

Name: Braddok

Gender: Male

Age: 24

Race: Half-Orc

 

Grey skinned and actually not as muscular as you'd think, but really, really tall. As in seven feet tall of strangely gangly Orc body. He has absolutely no scars and in fact perfectly flawless skin. His head is shaved, as his natural hair is quite oily and difficult to deal with.

 

Braddok is an enigma to both Humans and Orcs alike. He goes out of his way to be polite and is obsessively clean. He's a negotiator first and he is the most passionate when trying to get people to reach an agreement. Though he naturally has rage buried deep inside him, which he feels ridiculously guilty about whenever he lashes out. He's a bit awkward around Humans and avoids Orcs at all costs, but children seem to love him. He doesn't feel the same, due to how messy kids were.

 

Braddok was born, unfortunately, from rape. His mother was attacked and raped by an Orc marauder. She raised the child stubbornly, despite the other villagers and his mother's husband, being adamant about getting rid of him. He suffered much bullying and even death threats for all his life but he soldiered on, determined not to cause trouble. When he was 15 the village was attacked, by Orcs, and he came face-to-face with his biological father who claimed he was "back for more". The gangly Orc was no match for the barbarian but it didn't stop him from trying, and he fought to defend his mother...and he failed. His mother was killed and Braddok would've been next. But this incident brought out his inner rage and Braddok was able to kill his father. However after this, with no one to protect him, Braddok new he had to leave. Ever since he's been hunted, presumably by his step-father who had come home to a dead wife and a missing Braddok.

So yeah I'll do more later but holy cow why am I doing this.

It would help if I actually knew any of the stuff myself but.

 

Name: Riva

Gender: Female

Age: "I'm 18 and you can't tell me otherwise"

Race: Half-Ghost

 

Now the first we need to understand with Riva is how she came to be. Half ghost? What even is that? Well when Riva turned 18, she blew out her candles to the wish of "I wish I never got any older". This wish was overheard by a trickster spirit who could only act if a human made a wish in their presence. Thus as soon as she made this wish, a horrible "accident" occurred. The floor gave out from under her and Riva plummeted to the apartment below her, being impaled by wood and dying.

 

However this trickster was being hunted by a rather incompetent Guardian Angel, who attempted to reverse the damage and bring Riva back to life. They failed to bring them totally back, and instead Riva now lives a half-existence. Her body is translucent and incorporeal. Though she can still feel a dulled pain if struck. Plus she never ages. However she cannot turn invisible like other ghosts can, and she is still affected by some of the rules of reality. She can't walk through walls and she needs to have stairs to travel up floors.

 

Riva has curly black hair and brown eyes, and is always seen wearing the clothing she died in. That is to say a really baggy hoodie and shorts, no shoes.

 

She's a very self-conscious person, and has grown more and more worried about how she appears to others. She's terrified by the idea of getting older, weaker, and (in her mind) uglier. Because she feels that once that happens people won't want anything to do with her and they'd abandon her. As a half-ghost she has a whole host of new worries. Including but not limited to worried that people won't like the shade of nail polish she's stuck with potentially forever. She's absolutely obsessed with games and anime because, in the past, it let her escape her inevitable fate, but nowadays it's mostly to keep her mind off her new state of being.

On the subject of ghost-hood, Riva very stubbornly refuses to acknowledge anything's wrong. She loves the perks it has and tends to flaunt them, but whenever any negative side to it is pointed out she gets defensive and nervous.

Having been a half-ghost for 10 years has shown her that she likely has no chance at a normal life but she is naturally a hopeful girl, one who is determined that she'll find someone to help her, or failing that someone who will accept her for what she is now.

Has a huge playful streak, when she's feeling up to it, and often tries to pull off tricks and jokes. Her humor can be considered odd to others and she's gotten many weird looks at her random and sometimes frightening "jokes". Such as threats of possession and the like. Though on the flip-side she can also be bitingly sarcastic when feeling defensive.

 

Riva has the ability to stall time for brief moments, in a sense. When she touches an object or person she can stop their movement entirely for a short period of time.

If her body suffers enough damage she goes into a kind of stasis where she's unable to do anything.

Did you know Cow is more of a reminder you have big jugs rather than an insult?

Name: Issac

Gender: Male

Age: 23

Race: Human

 

Issac is a very pious and orderly person, except not really. He's actually a complete sloven who only lives to enjoy the greatest pleasure and fun he can have in life. Be it with food, sex, or whatever else he can find. Of course he's very careful to avoid because caught breaking any laws, knowing that it would bring trouble down on him.

He's known as a defender of justice, and he can often be found trying to get criminals to repent for their sins. This, however, is a front to try and force said criminals to commit travesties for his own gain. He makes his living off of donations given to him by those he "saved" from the very criminals he convinced to harm them.

Those very few that have gotten close to him have noticed a certain crazed fervor in his eyes at times. It seems he's completely devoted to some goal, though clearly not the holy mission he claims to have.

 

Issac was born to one of those happy and friendly Christian families you see on commercials. And he hated it. he always had a craving for chaos that just was never filled, despite his life literally being better than most other people in the country. He left home as soon as he could, claiming it was for a spiritual voyage. Which was in a sense true. He found a sect of so-called Satanists but found them nothing more than a group of idiots playing at evil. He abandoned them and then reported them to the police for some crimes they had been committing, which led him into a life of manipulation and excitement. His targets got bigger and bigger until he tried to take down a mafia boss. He failed, and the mafia boss tried to have him killed. However he was saved by a strange, trench-coat wearing, man. Who then gave Issac an ultimatum. His body or his soul. Issac didn't believe the man but one touch from the man to Issac revealed scenes so horrible that any sane man would have their mind shattered.
Issac just got more curious. He gave his soul to the man, who then told him he had to help him in driving the world into chaos. And if he didn't, his body would be flayed and repaired over and over for all eternity. Then the man vanished, without telling Issac how he was to accomplish this. And thus he set out to do whatever it took to gain money, souls, whatever he could think that might fulfill the man's request.

Of course, Issac didn't forget to have a bit of fun on the way. What's the point in fighting for a life without entertainment after all?

 

Issac is tall, blonde, and stunningly handsome. The only blemish is the fact that his ears are somewhat large, which he hates terribly.

If Issac wishes, and touches a person on the top of the head, he can show them a portion of the images the man in the trenchcoat showed him, which is usually all he needs to intimidate anyone into doing whatever he wishes. Other than that he's simply naturally charismatic and cunning, as well as quite skilled with a knife and an excellent shot.
