The Despair Uranus-CPF1

Recommended Posts

What do you mean again? Crystal Beasts were never a good deck. Ever. Even when they were first released.

There was an really old YCM joke that a newbie posted that "Crystal Beasts are the best deck ever"

Vanity's + Safe Zone and you probably win.

I'm pretty sure Monarchs are the only Deck that could get around This.

I'd mention Kaijus, but they... Aren't exactly the best.

Actually, it originated on GFaqs =D

It was carried over to YCM because those of us who knew the joke, then went on to repeat it a few more times on YCM.

Sooo... Block Dragon can search this...

This can set Brilliant Fusion. It also happens to be LIGHT so you could use it to summon Seraph/the level 8 Rock Gem-knight...

...I'm not entirely sure where I'm going with this, but just some thoughts.

*doesn't read*

I use it in my Destiny Board deck. Much Destiny. Maximum DEATH. Very wow.

Of course, it's not a very good strategy. Then again, using Destiny Board at all isn't a good strategy.

What was I talking about? Tribute summons? Eh, it's interesting. Will make fun dumb casual decks a little more consistent but won't shape the meta.

i remember them too,but we dont know if they'll ever get released

just let them get it out of their systems, theres no need to get a tight sphincter about it

get it out their systems! Double pun!

How would Kaijus get around Vanity's?

funking hell... I'm, for whatever reason, reading Vanity as Uranus.

But yes, only Monarchs would be the only thing that could honestly defeat that combination, and only through Stormforth. Nothing else could realistically stop it.

I'd mention Storming Mirror Force, on the off chance Uranus was was attacking/etc, but Stormforth being searchable in it's own Deck has more relevance.

Oh lol and I was thinking Caius banish March and then somehow get rid of Uranus... so we both misinterpreted. (although I also don't know monarchs very well)

You know what's a funny yet improbable combo?

Despair Uranus + Mask of Restrict + Safe Zone + Vanity's Emptiness

Uranus + Safe Zone = impenetrable shield, but improbable and over-protective, still it's a hard to break combination for a fodder wall

Couldn't ya, you know, Castel the Safe Zone?  It wouldn't get over Uranus, but it'd make it targetable/killable again.  Otherwise, it would be tough to get around if you used your Castel(s)/aren't playing something with built-in outs (Monarchs/Kaijus) though... So yeah, you said it, "improbable and over-protective, but hard to break"

Storming/Quaking Mirror Force, anyone?
