towers is cancer. funk towers. etc.

That's what I thought. I just wanted to be cautious on the meager off chance you actually had a rational reason for your dislike of towers

That being said, I half expected you to subscribe to the Black school of thought "If it does nothing overtly positive, let it stay banned"

But your rational was more entertaining to say the very least ^_^

This card doesn't work well with the CoD build as far as I can tell, and the meta decks have ways to out towers. I really don't see this having much impact. Qli's in TCG blow

why does this card exist.

like seriously.  Unless we get an apoqliphort that's better than Skybase and isn't Towers I don't understand how this helps at all besides saying "lol" to your opponent's attempt to TwiTwi ur life to pieces

Because, there exists a widely played format called the OCG, where Towers was NOT stupidly banned. In that format, Demise Qlis are the dominant deck, so Konami is trying to incentive running something different

Will it work? Maybe not. Towers is too easy to out. But its a nice sentiment all the same

Also lore

Didn't you mention, at some point, they used Towers as a 1-off or whatever?

Regardless, I'm curious as to why they don't use Towers.

Maybe right after Challengers came out? If so it wasn't that common of a move. Maybe as a shaddoll side

Well back before UTL, Lava Golem and his types were already used to out fields like Shock-Law, and Heros had Excal at the time to out it

Nekroz had Armor to get over Towers

Dolls had the ability to used Chaos Emperor burn for game ignoring Towers (lol nothing like Denko-CED for salt production) (it was admittedly a bit harder for dolls to get over)

Skill Drain has always been at three @Mirror

It's a lot of investment and a dead draw early game. With the advent of UTL it's become completely bad. When OCG imports Kaiju from TCG in September the game is over

etc.

Funny how Japan is the crazy one, but also some how ends up having the more vibrant metagame

Crazy how life works that way...it's like...not banning cards left and right...would end up increasing diversity...shocking

Nah man that's crazy talk.  Japan land is crazy confirm

Anywhere where Zefra top is crazy  :Kappa:

Apoqliptic Disaster?

K, I have to give you this one. That's solid gold

I wonder what the pun in the TCG name will be. Maybe something like "Qlitical Error"? (Saw this one on a custom card a while back)

Oh, so like Critical Error to make fun of Scouts error message to run the Tierra program? I wonder if that lends credence to the idea that Tierra is all a hallucination of a dying decatron

Actually was referring to Da'at, which isn't really the eleventh sephirot (it's always replacing Keter if included) but otherwise it's the supposed empty slot that is connected with the ten lights.

Tierra/Sophia is the representation of the infinite light/God if we refer to this concept, and thus the sephirot here are their aspects while tierra/sophia is something outside of it.

Oh, so this was more-so because of OCG's general crazyness, and because everyone was already used to the idea of Kaiju.dek, that such boss monsters never even mattered in the first place.

Makes sense.

5$ says it's "Qliphallen"

So, are they going to make a new Apoqliphort monster? We only have two Apoqliphorts, right?

Sincerely doubt to a very high degree. It doesn't fit the archetype's theme/flavor to just plop down an 11th monster. If anything, it at least tells me that maybe Towers will be getting off the list; because frankly he's kinda crap now.

That's would involve TCG accepting they were wrong and unbanning a card they banned. When did that happen outside of Ravine?

More likely, OCG wants OCG players to stop playing Demise Qlis so they're incentivizing

i mean demise Qli is a big thing in TCG too.

As others have said, it's unlikely for them to make a third Apoqliphort, but I did mention the slight possibility of a in-flavor way for them to do one.

After all, Da'at is illustrated as an empty slot in which the gems of other Sephirot can be inserted into it. Though I did see some said that it's simply the amalgamation of the ten Sephirot, which makes anything that'd represent it would actually be a Zefra/Sephira boss, if anything. If not Sophia/Tierra as Winter said earlier

However, it is still quite unlikely for them to do this, as unlike the other members of the Sephirot, Da'at doesn't have a Qliphoth counterpart, but Thaumiel's nature of duality made it still possible to represent a 11th Qliphort.

All in all, it's unlikely that they would make a 11th member of Qliphort/Infernoid Moloch, but it's something possible, and they wouldn't break the flavor with it, assuming they went with this.

Or they could make something actually representing the Ein Sof/Ayn Sof/Ain Soph although I did mention that this is probably what Sophia is supposed to represent on the Kabbalistic part of the lore.
