So basically what do you preferred to be called on YCM, now? Might be nice to be able to keep track in some way.

Personally I have been called so many things that I don't really mind whatever.

I only have one username here that you all know me by, so should be obvious (although only the first part; I almost never use the last part when introducing self to new members, and very few of you use it to reference/address me).

 

There's also an older name that some of the vets here might remember (and partially tied to my first username), but most of the vets who know it are gone/inactive now.

I can change your name to Proto (without the reverse R) if you'd like, but the original Proto wouldn't really like it, even if he has been inactive for 6+ months (and don't think he's posted recently before that).

I think it's a little silly and rather unnecessary when people refer to me by whatever the b-word in my name is at the time, or even typing out my entire username (or copy-pasting, but if you do that you're just laaaaazy). ABC works just fine. I am a Koomy archetype, hear me roar.

 

I also go by Torps, Torpy, or Torpzun, but that's pretty much anywhere else but here since I don't really feel like deviating from the ABC thingy, so I'm sure that this is new information to 99% of YCM.

i haven't seen the old Proto since I took the name ~ 2010.

 

even though i've been considerably less active in the coming years, previous mods haven't really been up to letting me change my name because i'unno, apparently he was a big deal 7 years ago.
