Thomas★Zero Posted January 8, 2017 Report Share Posted January 8, 2017 Entertainment Duel Field Spell Card (1) If this card is in the Field Zone, each time each 1 of these conditions is fullfilled, a player can draw 2 cards, once per turn for each. ● Special Summon 5 monsters with different Levels at the same time. ●A monster they controlled battled 5 times. ● They activated a card effect that is Chain Link 5 or higher. ● They rolled a die and/or flipped a coin 5 times. ● Taking damage so that their LP becomes 500 or less. Atypical-Abbie Posted January 8, 2017 Report Share Posted January 8, 2017 Well this is definitely interesting, it's very gimmicky for sure, the most practical one is probably the Chaining one, and in Pendulum Decks the Summoning one. It's an entertaining card for sure. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Darj Posted January 8, 2017 Report Share Posted January 8, 2017 Looks like a really fun card xDFor the dice/coin effect, Lucky Straight can do 3/5 of the requirements on its own, leaving only 2 for the card draw, and since it it counts both coins and dices, it shouldn't be to difficult if you are dedicating a deck to it.I'm assuming that it if already have 500 LP or less and get damage but still survive, you would still take the card draw, right? It doesn't seem to contradict the effect's requirement.The second condition... is it even possible? Ah yeah it is. I was thinking that few monsters get to attack more than twice, like Dark Matter Dragon, but then I remembered those ones that can attack every monster once each like Susanowo, so it is possible to set something up with them for the card draws. Hello my name is Enguin Posted January 8, 2017 Report Share Posted January 8, 2017 Run it in Paleozoics tbh imo. 2 draws a turn. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
The Highlander Posted January 8, 2017 Report Share Posted January 8, 2017 Use Enchanted Javelin if already at 500 or less life points to trigger the effect again and ... wait is the golden apple not better for that ? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
~~~~ Posted January 8, 2017 Report Share Posted January 8, 2017 Run it in Paleozoics tbh imo. 2 draws a turn.would be way too much of a dead draw early on. Even if you do set it up so that you are getting 2 draws a turn, your opponent can just chain to your 5th chain link and get their own 2 draws. Slinky Posted January 8, 2017 Report Share Posted January 8, 2017 would be way too much of a dead draw early on. Even if you do set it up so that you are getting 2 draws a turn, your opponent can just chain to your 5th chain link and get their own 2 draws. Given the wording of the card, there's no indication that these effects start a chain, they look more like continuous triggers. It'd be more akin to Maxx C, where the second the event happens, you draw. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Tinkerer Posted January 8, 2017 Report Share Posted January 8, 2017 More clear text update:(1) If this card is in the Field Zone, each time each 1 of these conditions is fullfilled in one turn by a player, that player draws 2 cards, once per turn for each.● Special Summon 5 monsters with different Levels at the same time.●A monster they controlled battled 5 times.● They activated a card effect that is Chain Link 5 or higher.● They rolled a die and/or flipped a coin 5 times.● Taking damage so that their LP becomes 500 or less. I don't mean chaining to this card, I mean chaining to whatever your 5th chainlink is to get the draw 2 in zoicsMmm... I'm not sure. To me the wording reads more like "as long as you fulfill this condition, you can draw 2", which might mean both players get the draw 2, not just the last person in the chain. I suppose the unclear bit is if the OPT is referring to per condition per turn or per player per condition per turn. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
BlackBeartic Posted January 8, 2017 Report Share Posted January 8, 2017 This is a super funny card. I can see this used in those joke Yuya decks lol.(Or chain burn if you want to be a scum)Paleo too as said above. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
I suppose the unclear bit is if the OPT is referring to per condition per turn or per player per condition per turn. Seems to me that both would get the x2 card draw.And I don't think it is good in Paleozoics because, as Speedroid pointed out, it can "backfire" by allowing the opponent to get those x2 card draws if he/she has an effect to chain after your 4th or higher chain link. I also noticed you get the x2 card draw for each condition, so it would be funny to see a deck that manages to fulfill 2+ of these requirements in a single turn and draw 4+ cards. Maybe shenaningans with, let's say, Asura Priest, Black Garden and Pendulum Summoning? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
(GigaDrillBreaker) Posted January 8, 2017 Report Share Posted January 8, 2017 (Or chain burn if you want to be a scum)Chain Burn soft caps at three links. Once in a blue moon it will hit 4. If we can find a die roll/coin toss to put in exodia other than cup of ace there might be a memey deck there. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Draconus297 Posted January 8, 2017 Report Share Posted January 8, 2017 Judging by the wording, it seems that each player can satisfy the conditions on their own- ie, if you were both involved in a Chain of 5+ Links, you both get the draw; but if the 5 coin flips were split between the two of you, nobody draws- you have to flip a coin 5 times to get the draw. ~~~~ Posted January 8, 2017 Report Share Posted January 8, 2017 ie, if you were both involved in a Chain of 5+ Links, you both get the draw; No, it's not enough to activate, for example, chain links 1, 2, 3 and 4, even if your opponent then puts chain link 5 on top of that, only they will get the draw2. In this example, you would have to make something be chain link 6 if you want to get your draw2 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Darj Posted January 8, 2017 Report Share Posted January 8, 2017 Yes, but in that case the opponent would get the x2 card draws, not you, since it's his/her monsters doing the attacks. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Draconus297 Posted January 8, 2017 Report Share Posted January 8, 2017 It just says "battled" five times, meaning that it counts if your opponent keels attacking one of your monsters over and over. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Darj Posted January 9, 2017 Report Share Posted January 9, 2017 Oh, damn right, my mistake. I don't know how I misinterpreted the effect after reading it a couple of times to confirm before posting, despite suggesting Asura Priest myself earlier.
