Kazam and Seer had vanished, only to reappear inside a deserted alley a good distance away from the beach where the Legendary Pokemon still remained. The tall buildings protecting Seer from the rain he glanced over at the old Alakazam, “Get into position and do not move until I give the signal.”

“Of course,” Kazam replied and vanished into another teleport.

Silver came to a complete halt when Seer stepped out from behind the building he had appeared in. Walking towards the trainer and his Celebi Seer’s eyes remained narrow and his stride steady, stopping far enough that neither Celebi nor its Guardian would feel too threatened, “You’re obviously the Guardian of Celebi. If you want Celebi to live give him to me.”

“Why should I give Celebi to you? I don't even know who you are,” Silver asked defensively holding Celebi back. Seer chuckled. The response was what he had been expecting. Raising one hand a small crackle of psychic power in the form of electricity danced across Seer’s fingers, adding an ominous glow to the trainer’s face, “My name is none of your concern but let me be clear, you will either hand Celebi over or I will acquire him by force.”
“Do you need any help Keaden?”

“Thank you Anne, if you could help me with this guy.”

Anne nodded her head and gently picked up the injured man, following Kaeden into the Pokemon Center while trying her best not to drop the man. She was so focused on keeping the man floating that the Sun Pokemon never took notice that Keldeo had disappeared- back into his Pokeball, just in case.

Setting the man on a stretcher while Kaeden explained the situation to Nurse Joy, who had been receiving numerous injured from the sinking ship and was already well aware of what had happened off shore. Free from having to lift the man up Anne shook her entire body, sending water droplets everywhere, and sat down to clean her paws of the last bits of water that remained.

“Thank you, Anne.” Anne’s hears perked up once she heard Kaeden says that. Looking back up at him her face drifted back to the tile floor and her ears drooped a bit in unhappiness. Anne wasn’t following Kaeden and Keldeo around because she wanted to be around them, though she did feel at ease around the young trainer and his equally young Legendary, but it was simply she was keeping an eye on him for Seer.

If Anne knew where her master was she’d be heading there to meet him now.

So, when Kaeden thanked her for helping him, she felt bad about it. Glancing back up at the young human the Sun Pokemon let out a small sigh, “You’re welcome Kaeden . . .”

“Tell me,” Anne continued but had a bit of hesitation in her voice, “Are you going to meet up with the other Swords of Justice now or return to your room?”
“My name is none of your concern but let me be clear, you will either hand Celebi over or I will acquire him by force.”

Seer was now obviously threatening Silver and Celebi, his psychic powers having proved already to be more than enough to easily down a Machamp in a one-on-one fight. Taking a step forward Seer’s face lowered so that more of it was illuminated by the purple psychic electricity that was sparking from his fingers, “Now give me Cele-”

Seer stopped.

Stopped walking, talking, the psychic electricity vanished from his fingers. He just stood there frozen as if he had suddenly turned into a statue, eyes wide open. For an uncomfortable minute Seer remained perfectly still until finally he grabbed the side of head and backed away. He seemed to be in pain then he took off running.

Seer continued to run through the storm that was beginning to lighten up and disappear. Through the cold pelting rain and the pain throbbing in his brain until he finally collapsed on the outskirts of the town.

Blake, Terra, and Rivere finally reached the Pokemon Center, bursting through the door out of breath. "T-That...was the longest run...I've ever had to do in all my life!!" he said, breathing heavily.

What about that time you ran from a herd of Tauros? Cobalion chuckled, in his mind.

D-Don't start...Cobalion... he thought, as he stood back up and then saw a familiar face: Kaeden. "KAEDEN!!" Blake said, as he walked towards the young boy, and then noticing a familiar Espeon. "Nice to see your alright...I tried to get there to help out...but got lost on the way." he said, before glancing over at the Espeon. "And you're here...because??"

Keldeo...are you alright? Cobalion asked to his friend. What went on at the beach??
"Hmph, so you want answers huh? Fine I'll give you answers. I'm sure you are aware that a number of trainers here have legendary pokemon right? Welll, it is the presence of those legendaries have attracted us here and we wish to get rid of them by any means necessary whether it be dispatching of their guardians or targeting the legendaries themselves. I bet you're thinking I suck at my job because I was so easily taken down at the scene, but I assure you, that Feraligatr came out of nowhere. Even though I undergo physical training myself, I should really up my reaction time."

Draco caught the Pokeballs and stood up, smirking. "Now was that so hard?" he chuckled as he put the Pokeballs back on his belt. "Thank you for your cooperation." With that, Draco walked out of the interrogation room.

"Shall I send him to the cell?" a officer asked.

"No. He's telling the truth, and so was I. Let him go, we may be able to use him to lure Purity out." Draco said, fixing his fedora. "As for me, I'm going to look around that island. I'm afraid Aya may need some help."

Going with Danial's decision, the three boys made  their way towards the town's only  Italian themed restaurant, Mozzarella Masquerain. Despite  the poor choice in name, the establishment was very high class, and the three teenagers looked extremely out of place.

As they were seated in the near empty restaurant, Kytes took the time to subtly shake the water from his hair, before neatly placing his napkin in his lap. John did the same, shifting uncomfortably, as he sat unnaturally erect, in a clumsy attempt to mimic his trainer's table manners. When the waiter finally arrived, Kytes waited for Danial to order before ordering a sirloin steak for himself. Latios on the other hand, starred the waiter in the eye, holding his gaze for uncomfortably long, before placing his order in a sophisticated tone. "You're best pokmon food, my good sir." The Eon pokemon completely ignored the double death glare, he received from both Kytes, and the waiter, as he spoke to Zapdos telepathically. "That girl, Roxie was it? Shes still in the cave, but it might be for the better though...She seems off."

Reluctantly shifting his gaze from Latios, Kytes cracked a half smile, as he rolled his eyes so that only the Danial  could see. "So what brought you to the tournament? Just here for the fun of it, or is there something bigger on your agenda?, Kytes watched the other boy closely, as he waited for his response.

Ice didn’t speak, what was she to say? The man had been in some sort of trance-like state when he had approached her, but now seemed to be his right mind again… with no memory of what had happened.

“Oh,” was all the young woman said in response, “well you were passed out outside when the storm came down, so I dragged you inside.” She lied, but what else could she tell him, that not even ten minutes ago he’d speaking in mysterious riddles with a blank look on his face, she’d probably scare him.

“I’m sorry to disturb you sir,” abruptly Ice slid out of booth, having a strong urge to get as far away from the man as possible. Why did all of this weird stuff have to happen to her, couldn’t she just have a normal life!? Arceus damn it all! She didn’t need this… she didn’t want this.

------

After dispatching the Pokemon Hunter, Elias got up from the console he’d been working at, and walked a small keypad at the back end of the helicopter swiftly punching in a code. The seeming back wall of the helicopter folded up revealing floor to ceiling tubes filled with pale green liquid each with an unidentifiable object within them. It also contained a circular rack holding seven vials each with a small tuft of fur within them.

“What might that be?” Moira asked turning in her chair to observe her fellow doctor. The scientist rose from the seat walking over to stand behind the doctor’s now vacated console, studying the screen. “You think you can pull this off?” Moira’s brow furrowed incredulously, “this is the work of gods, not men.”

“It was done once before, I can do it now, or do you forget… I was a part of that project,” Elias replied with a confident smirk, “they didn’t have the power of a god- besides I have the power of Legends at my fingertips. Besides you know Eon, he’ll not take ‘no’ for an answer.” Elias scowled thinking of the arrogant youth who had the gall to tell him what to do!

“If I remember correctly you were kicked out of that project,” Moira replied returning to her console, “you’re playing with forces you can’t control. According to the records everyone on that project died.” Elias only grunted in return already consumed in his work.

Shaymin glanced at Darius. "What are you thinking? You have six pokemon already! You don't need any more!" Darius just sighed and looked at Shaymin. "I want our family to grow. We already have Azurill who I think will evolve into Marill any day now, Dragonair, Bellossom, Litwick, and Staravia. Another won't hurt our fun." Darius grinned at his partner as he pulled out a Great Ball. He was a young trainer with lots to learn. He was in a rocky area which would be inhabited with a type he didn't have yet: Ground. The thought of a new team member ignited a fire within him, something that didn't often happen. He was then frightened by his Azurill popping out of its ball and chirping its sound. Shaymin just shook her head and smiled.

A pokemon ran through the plain. "Shaymin, go!"

Shaymin:

As the elephantine pokemon scattered down the path, my master sent me to attack. Simply following orders, I sent a Seed Flare in her area. She was then surrounded by flowers and then damaged by the burst. As I moved closer, she used a move that Darius simply referred to as 'Rollout'. Taking damage, I shook it off and was left to my own devices. I told Darius through telepathy in what I would use, and he simply agreed. What he called Energy Ball was my method of attack. He used a tougher Rollout, which made my slightly weak. I used Magical Leaf, and he seemed ready to collapse. But, he put in a single extra Rollout, making me as weak as him. Darius saw this, and got me back into my perch as he threw Azurill. Attempting Attract let in another attack from that Phanpy, which was what that strange device called it. Darius simply threw the Great Ball at her.

Darius:

I watched, expectedly, as the ball teetered back and forth. It picked up speed as it shook, and the farther in it was, the more excited I got. It finally stopped, and I picked it up. I calmly opened the ball, and the hurt creature came out, smiling at me. I tried picking her up, noting by her feminine cry, and then knew her heft. I smiled and put her back into the containment device. I simply turned back for the less secluded areas of town.

Daniel grinned, fighting the urge to laugh hysterically at Latios' awkwardness. He has never seen a Pokemon be so comfortable around humans, while being so clumsily awkward at the same time. It was a rather pleasant sight having the two of them lighten his mood. Having searched desperately for his father, they were a great stress release.

The waiter approached, his light hair falling shortly over his forehead. Daniel's attention was pulled instantly. He lost focus and just looked at his bright eyes. Realizing he was lost in space, he snapped out of it. "I said, what would you like to order?"

Coughing shyly, Daniel looked at his menu. After recollecting himself he ordered a bowl of ravioli. The waiter looked awkwardly at the three of them. It was apparent they weren't mentally healthy. "I am sorry you two. This is an Italian Restaurant, we do not have Sirloin Steak. We also only serve Pokemon food to... Well... Pokemon. That has become policy after a recent... Incident." A man in the back of the restaurant called for the waiter, who apologized and said he would take out orders when he returned.

Amiss the awkward conversation, Zapdos communicated with Latios. "Well I wasn't able to sense when exactly she disappeared  We were moving out of that cave pretty quickly. My guess would be she is searching for Articuno. I sense his presence within the cave. I believe he was communicating with Roxie, and that is why she began acting so awkwardly. I don't trust her."

Daniel turned his attention to Kytes. The question was rather personal, which bothered him. Unsure of how to answer, he lied. "I've always been rather competitive with battling, so I came here to show off my skills."

Alex:
"That's it Houndoom, your Flamethrower is really getting stronger!" Alex said as Houndoom struck his training partner, Blaziken with considerable force, knocking him back a fair bit but it didn't look to have inflicted much damage despite the slight power increase. "With all of today's training I'll be ready for the next round of the tournament." "Not even a little rainstorm could've stopped me."
*flashback*
The rain started to batter down and Alex headed down to the nearby fields to get away from the potentially panicking crowds. "That's some heavy rain, but I'm not heading back to the hotel, I might as well get training." He thought as he held a pokeball in each of his hands.
*flashback ends*
Checking his poketch, Alex got out Houndoom's and Blaziken's pokeballs, "Return guys." and once the two pokemon went back into their pokeballs, Alex headed back to the hotel to get some rest for the next day's events.

Steve:
"Now was that so hard?" Draco chuckled as he put the Pokeballs back on his belt. "Thank you for your cooperation." With that, Draco walked out of the interrogation room.
"I assume this means I'm free to go huh?" Steve thought as he stood up and went to leave the interrogation room once the officers had given him the say so. "I have to admit, that Draco guy is impressive at drawing the truth out of people, but nevertheless he's the enemy and he is merely a stepping stone in my plans." clenching his fists, Steve was escorted outside by one of the officers.

Hiding in the bushes with Accelgor and Cryogonal in tow, Liepard waited for the officer to go back inside so that they wouldn't be detected and once the officer went back inside, Liepard stuck his head out of the bushes and was careful not to give out a cry. Steve looked around trying to find his pokemon as he assumed that they weren't causing any damage otherwise there would have been some loud sounds. Noticing Liepard's head, Steve sprinted across whilst looking from left to right just in case.

"Good work Liepard, and you brought Accelgor and Cryogonal with you. I was starting to get worried especially since the arrest happened so fast, I didn't realise that they weren't in their pokeballs until I came to." Steve said trying to not get flustered and causing a scene. "For now we retreat, after all tomorrow is another day." He grabbed a smoke bomb from Liepard's utility belt and returned the three pokemon to their pokeballs before dropping a smoke bomb as he started to head back to his room.

Silver:
“My name is none of your concern but let me be clear, you will either hand Celebi over or I will acquire him by force.”

Seer was now obviously threatening Silver and Celebi, and it was clear that Silver was already starting to fear Seer's power and he tried to take backwards steps not wanting to give Celebi to Seer. Taking a step forward Seer’s face lowered so that more of it was illuminated by the purple psychic electricity that was sparking from his fingers, “Now give me Cele-”

A few moments later Seer looked to be in real pain, and Silver looked on as the pain that Seer was feeling was nothing like the pain that Silver had felt then Seer took off running, leaving Silver wondering why Seer took off like that, but the fear that Seer had imposed onto Silver and Celebi had made Silver's heart beat faster and he felt a sense of Deja vu from the previous night's events.

"My guardian, I have a feeling that guy is really dangerous." Celebi said to Silver, and a few moments later, he gave a reply. "I share the same feelings, but for now we must get to the pokemon center, my guys need some R&R." Returning Celebi to its pokeball, Silver sprinted off, looking at his pokenav to find where the pokemon center was from his general location.

Darius calmly walked towards the next area, Shaymin and crew in tow. He had stickers in the order that he caught his main team, each of the first six were placed precariously on the carrier of each. The Phanpy that he had just caught, who was weak from the battle and about to get a heal from the Pokemon center in the first floor, was given a red seven sticker. Occasionally, he may forget which Pokemon is in each ball, and it helps him remember. It reminds him of how he would act when he was sick: Counting flowers as it was a thing to do when faced with a pressing ailment. His Pokemon seemed to rustle from their balls with joy at a rest for their selves.

Shaymin then 'spoke' to him through its telepathy. "Hurry, Darius. You seriously need to assure the Phanpy's health." Its voice pressing, Darius briskly walked into the hotel.

As he encountered the desk, he smiled as he placed each of the five that needed a rest: Phanpy, Shaymin, Litwick, Staravia, and Azurill. His Dragonair and Bellossom didn't need training, as they were far stronger than the others and were his first two Pokemon on his quest.

(Let anyone just waltz in XD)

Kytes flushed slightly, as the waiter went off to attend to another patron. Spending the majority of his time in his home, Kytes was accustomed to the help preparing whatever he asked for,and the fact that he was an Italian themed restaurant never even crossed his mind.  Turning back to face Daniel, Kytes let out a sigh,  before leafing through the menu. “To tell you the truth, I was hoping you had a special reason or something…” A small frown formed at the side of the orange haired trainer’s mouth.

Unlike his trainer, ‘John ‘wasn’t embarrassed in the slightest, even taking the time to shout as the waiter left. “WHAT? You call this a restaurant? Kytes’s dining room is waaay bigger then this broom closet, and i'm damn sure I can get some pokemon food there ” The Eon pokemon opened his mouth to continue, but stopped once he heard Kytes’s statement. “Don’t mind him Danny; he was just trying to use you, to make up his own reason." For a moment,John's voice was uncharacteristically serious as he shot his trainer a look."Kinda pathetic, huh? Ignoring the glare he got from Kytes, Latios continued his conversation with his fellow legendary. “Aren’t you two like… related? You don’t seem too pressed about meeting up with him.”

About five minutes later, the waiter returned, and Kytes still hadn't said a word. Without much thought, he ordered ravioli just as Daniel did, and when asked Latios responded with glare towards the server. The two boys showed no sign of fighting, but there was a sense of tension between the two.

Rook plopped down on his bed, sopping wet. He smelled like fish and there was seaweed where there definitely should not have been seaweed. Letting out a groan, he closed his eyes. The day had been stressful. A massive storm. A crashed ship. Then nearly drowning to death. He owed his Pokemon a major thank you, of course they already knew his gratitude. Sleep was beginning to take over his mind, but he couldn't go to bed yet. Not like this.

Stepping into the shower, he let the warm water glide to his skin as he thought over the day's events. After he had been saved, Rook hadn't been able to spot Silver. His fellow Guardian had disappeared. The fact slightly worried him. With all the strange happenings going on, Rook wasn't very confident that some sort of danger had befallen his new friend. Then, there was the matter of the storm. It had been unlike anything Rook had seen before. One minute a raging maelstrom and the next it was gone. Definitely not natural. Another piece had been placed on the board.

"You question your role?" The voice of Dialga spoke in his head. This time it was not accompanied by the usual pressure and pain that so often came with."Dialga, how can I help you if you won't help me? Tell me what is going on." Through their psychic connection he could feel the mood of the massive Legendary shift. "I cannot pretend to know the workings of Arceus, but it is his will that you go through these trials. But, since you have asked. I shall reveal what I know."

Rook was prepared for the vision this time. The splitting head ache did not come and instead, Rook just let the scene wash over him. He found himself in a jungle clearing. The sounds of the wild all around him. Looking down, Rook saw that Dialga had not been kind enough to dress him before taking him out of the shower. Blood rose to his cheeks in embarrassment, here he was nude in the middle of the jungle. "Relax. No one will be able to see you. You are simply a bystander." The blood began to fall from Rook's face, but he thought he could here just a touch of amusement in the old Legendary's voice. There was no more time to dwell on it because there was a rustling in the brush.

Turning, Rook watched as a large figure leapt from the bushes, landing not but a few feet from Rook. The sudden appearance made him jump and stumble backwards in fright. After regaining his composure, Rook looked to see that the figure was the Legendary Pokemon Raikou. Cuts line its body and it seemed to be favoring one leg as if it were hurt.

Another figure calmly walked into the scene as it did so, Raikou growl menacingly. "Now, now Raikou. I am only offering you a chance for you fighting spirit to join me in battle." The man's dark tone sent a shiver up Rook's spine. The man's shadowy eyes and calm demeanour told Rook that something was off about him. "Your tongue spreads only lies and half truths, psychic. Do not try to play your mind games with me." The man, the psychic that Raikou spoke of, simply shrugged. "If that is what you wish." Thrusting his right palm outward, the purple hair man seemed to fling Raikou back with a blast of psychic energy. Raikou hit a large tree with a sickening thud and let out a yowl of pain.

Fixing his thunderous gaze on the psychic, Raikou's body crackled with electricity before blasting a bolt of lightning at the unsuspecting man. Eyes growing wide, the psychic released his hold on the Legendary and rolled to the side. He raised his hand as if to attack Raikou again, but then stopped. The battle seemed to pause, Rook looked for the cause. The sound of more rustling of leaves filled the air. As it did so, the psychic calmly stood to full height. "Another time then, Legendary Beast." In a flash of light, he was gone.

Before Raikou could even react to the sudden disappearance a group of people rushed into the clearing. Rook recognized the uniforms as Team Purity uniforms. "Captain Daniel, we have found him." One of the Purity Officers said, speaking into a communication device on his sleeve. There was some murmur of affirmation through the other end in which the Purity Officer responded with an "Understood." The group of Team Purity grunts sent out a throng of Pokemon, overpowering the weakened Raikou.

Rook stood helplessly by, unable to help. "This is the story of the past." Rook had figured as much. Now that the pieces were starting to come together, the happenings of the day were beginning to make more sense. Suddenly, the scene shifted. Rook was now standing on the deck of a pitching ship. Thunder and lightning exploded overhead. A familiar scene indeed.

Team Purity officers hustled about on scene. They yelled orders and directions and each other, Rook even spotted a few crying. That was when a massive burst of lightning hit the ground exactly where Rook was standing. The bolt did not hurt him, but it definitely came as a shock. Before Rook knew what was happening he was falling through the floors of the ship before landing gently on what appeared to be a giant cage. A gaping hole glared at him from the side. Whatever had been in there had escaped. "Follow it." Rook did as was told and swam out into the ocean, leaving through the holes left in the ship by whatever had escaped.

Rook naturally held his breath underwater, but his lungs began to ache. Desperately scrambling for the surface, he couldn't take it any more and the water exploded into his lung. He panicked for a moment before finding that he could breath perfectly fine. Continuing his swim, he soon found himself on the beach. He was met with a sight that had probably only been seen by a few. Raikou. Entei. Suicune. The three Legendary Beasts stood together. The same psychic from before and collection of other people stood by. "This is the newest piece of the puzzle."

With Dialga's words, the vision began to shift again. This time it was no longer a coherent story, but a jumble of pictures and noises. Faces and sounds ripped passed him faster than he could even begin to grasp what they meant. A number of faces caught his eye before disappearing into oblivion. Then, it was all over. He was back in his hotel, the hot water from the shower still going. Steam wafted through the air. There was no way of telling how long Rook had been out. "Thank you."
Serena watched Clement's face as it faded in and out of consciousness. Worry was obvious on her face. "We need to get him help." She said, speaking to Entei who still stood facing the other Legendary Beasts. "You are right young one." Entei responded. He then turned to face Raikou directly. "We will help you, but not today. Light is growing dim and other things demand our attention. Stay here for the night. You will be safe."

"How noble of you." Raikou scoffed. But still, he did not object, simply padding away. "Suicune, can I return you? If we are going to get Clement help, I don't think it would be wise for you and Entei to go traipsing through town." After Suicune agreed to have Serena return him, Serena rummaged through Clement's Pokeballs, returning everyone that he had brought out. "We'll talk later, Entei."

---

Later at the Pokemon Center, Serena waited anxiously in the waiting room. She had brought Clement in and decided to wait for any word on his condition. Little did she know that she was amongst a group of Guardians. A nurse came out to talk with her. "We will keep him overnight, but he will be fine by morning. You did a good thing miss." Serena nodded, the worry lifting from her face.

She would return to her hotel for the night. Ready to kick some ass tomorrow.
"Blake?" Rivere said, tapping the leader of the Blades of Four on the shoulder. "I think I will be heading back to my hotel now. It seems as if we are just in the way now." Rivere left the Pokemon Center, nodding good bye to Kaeden and Terra on her way out. Coming to her hotel, she gracefully slid into bed and quickly fell asleep.
"Sir, please come with me." Kallen looked over his shoulder. He had been on his way to his hotel when he was stopped by a man wearing the uniform of the Archanum Police. "Is there a problem officer?" He asked. "Please come with me." He repeated. Kallen read the man's face, it was obvious that something important was going on, but it appeared as if the officer was not at liberty to say. Figuring that he didn't have much of an option, Kallen followed the man into a waiting patrol car.

Kallen did not bother with questions on the ride, they wouldn't have been answered. He felt tears spring to his eyes, but he blinked them away. He could not show weakness. Finally arriving at their destination, Kallen stepped out of the patrol car and looked to the sheer grandeur of Castle Archanum. The officer led him inside, up a number of stairs and through many twisting corridors.

Coming to a large throne room, Kallen cautiously made his way in with the officer's instruction. His footsteps echoed loudly in the room. He jumped as the large doors behind him closed with a bang. He was alone now. Well alone...if you didn't count the king. "Kallen, right? I believe that you have something to offer me."
Eon grumpily sat down on his bed. He had waited for hours on the island by himself before a member of his Team Purity guard had come to get him. Now back at his private yacht, the leader of Team Purity checked his cell phone. A smile appeared on his face. The Doctor had received his message. The time for war was coming.
The day wore on and the Guardians slowly made their way back to their hotels. Saying good bye to friends and allies, looking over their shoulders for enemies. The day had been long and dangerous. Filled with ups and down, friends and enemies. The Tournament was proving to be quite the show. There was no telling what the next day would bring.

Roxie awoke, cold and alone. Well besides her five Pokemon surrounding her. Ursaring's fur was soft and warm to the touch. Jigglypuff, Vulpix, and Gabite were cuddled up with the brown bear Pokemon, while Roxie's Misdreavous floated above the group, also sound asleep. She snuggled up with the Pokemon on the ground, trying to fall back asleep. Of course, she couldn't. Something was bothering her. Who was that voice? Why did she get cold chills whenever it spoke? And most importantly, where the Heatran did it come from? Maybe it was Latios messing with her. She never heard the voice until she met that Pokemon, and hasn't heard it since she slipped away from them. Even more reason to murder the thing.

“Tell me,” Anne continued but had a bit of hesitation in her voice, “Are you going to meet up with the other Swords of Justice now or return to your room?”

“I think I’ll go to my room,” Keaden said looking back at the Espeon, glancing back at his Legendary Pokemon. When Keldeo saw his Guardian yawning he got up off the floor and trotted over to him, nudging him with his nose, “I think it’s best we get some rest.”

“Take care Anne,” Keaden smiled and waved turning to leave with one hand on Keldeo’s back. Watching the young trainer walking away the Sun Pokemon looked back and forth before dashing after Keaden, catching up, “Keaden?”

“Yes?”

“Since I don’t know where Seer is I will be staying with you,” Anne declared jumping on Keldeo’s back. Glaring at the Pokemon on his back the Legendary Pokemon shook a bit to try and knock her off, looking back at Keaden, “No. Keaden I’ve let that psychopath's Pokemon stick around long enough!” Keaden looked back at Anne as she rode on Keldeo then back to the Legendary, “Come on . . . she isn’t that bad and she does seem to care about him.” Keldeo growled a bit then snapped his head away from Keaden as they entered the Hotel, “Fine Keaden she can stay. I just hope you know what you’re doing.”

“Which room is yours?” Anne asked looking back up. Clicking the elevator button Keaden and the others stepped in, “Room number 505.”

After traveling up the elevator all of them exited. Calmly walking down the hallway they entered the room and locked it for the night so they could get some sleep. The next morning Keaden stirred and felt a weight on his chest. He yawned and blinked his eyes spotting Anne sleeping on his chest and Keldeo asleep on the end of the bed. Shifting in bed he slid under the bed sheets to get ready.

Splashing his face with cold water Keaden jumped seeing Keldeo and Anne looking at him through the mirror. Turning his head he smiled at them both, his phone ringing alerting him to his the new match he had for the Tournament:

Courtyard

“Caterpie?”

With a groan Seer’s eyes opened up slowly to see the Worm Pokemon nudging his face. He was soaked through with dew and the sun had kept him warm. Pushing himself up he felt something in his pocket vibrating and he took it out to see that it was his Tournament Registration letting him know he needed to report to the courtyard for his battle. “Battle?” Seer thought rereading the text, “Why am I in a battle?” Putting the phone in his pocket Seer stumbled through the forest, his legs guiding him subconsciously towards the courtyard.

Darius was always a heavy sleeper when he was sick, so he was a very light one when he was well. He slept from about 10:30 until about 5:30 in the morning, a decent seven hours. His Azurill didn't sleep a wink, and neither did his Shaymin. He was curious why, and asked his Shaymin. "Azurill is worried about the Phanpy that you left in the Pokemon Center overnight." Was the telepathic reply.  Darius looked in the mirror. "I left him in the Pokemon Center???" Shaymin nodded. Darius flew with clothing and tripped in the doorway trying to slip on his pants. He sprinted down the hallway quietly, his Pokemon in tow. He came to the Pokemon Center to retrieve his new Pokemon. Surely enough, it was there waiting for him. He quickly grabbed it and ran into the courtyard for some training.

"Are you all ready for some early morning training?" They all nodded. Azurill then jumped on Staravia and the madness began. Darius, for warm-ups, let them govern their own attacks on their training partners. Litwick and Dragonair, Azurill and Staravia, and Shaymin and Bellossom. The Phanpy, seeming to be a probable benchwarmer since he's new, sits out and watches.

(I'll edit Phanpy into the roster when I feel like it).

Click. Click. Click. Click. This time, there were flames in the sky, dying flames that were trying to survive without a source. Once again, he saw HER. But he also saw many others this time around. Who were they? He couldn't recognize any of them, nor the various shadows behind their backs. There was also a luminescent shadow behind HER own back, but looking at it caused him pain somehow, so he turned away. There was something in the sky, but he couldn't quite tell what it was. It was either a bright light, or a huge amount of black things...

"Do not go out."

Then everything shifted, the world being consumed in darkness. Fire, ice, lightning, energy, it all disappeared off into the distance. Even the light.

"Do not leave this room."

But the strangers were still there. He had no idea who they were, but could he walk amongst them? Thus far, it was impossible to tell. Actually, now that he thought about it, he had already achieved his desires. So then why did he strive for even more? He finally caught the Charizard of his dreams, and the speed of his Pokemon were outmatched by none other. No matter who they were, there was no reason for him to...

"LISTEN TO ME."

Of course, he still had to find her.

"OBEY. DO NOT-"

Ice.

Even though he couldn't move, he began to move forward into darkness.

"...Hngh." Areo grunted, and his eyes opened to the ceiling of a Pokemon Center room.

This time he'd awoken peacefully, strangely enough, but somehow it felt like a bad omen. Pulling the sheets off, he realized that he was still in the clothes he wore yesterday. Blinking tiredly, he realized that his phone was ringing to alert him of his next match for the Tournament. So it looked as if things were back to normal, now that the events from yesterday were all over. With a yawn, he went to take a shower in the Pokemon Center and get ready for today's match.

Once he was done, he exited the building, passing by a trainer that had come to pick up his Phanby. Truth be told, Areo himself wasn't that interested in winning the tournament. There was something more about than that. This time for sure, he'd find her. He still hadn't seen Ice over the past few days, but maybe they'd just missed each other time and time again.

"Do not make me regret choosing you."

For a moment, Areo thought he saw an oddly-shaped shadow out of the corner of his eye, but when he turned around, there was nothing. Dismissing it as a trick of the light, he continued on.
Aiden leaned against a brick wall along the side of the courtyard, being one of the first ones there. So far, the tournament had been fun. While the previous day had been a little hectic what with Raikou, a psychic guy who could take on a Pokemon head-on, gunshots, and whatnot, he was fairly confident that he could win this. Even if his opponent was the legendary Raikou, he would just have to reveal his own secret weapon! Okay, well, 'he' wasn't so much a secret weapon as 'he' was a best friend, but it was the thought that counted. He'd been warned not to use 'him' except in emergencies, which was fine.

"I'll win this." Aiden muttered to himself in confidence. "I'll definitely win this, and then she'll finally notice me..."

He was more than capable of winning this tournament of legends with his own power. To rely on ancient legends to win would be an insult. If he used something like that to succeed in this, then he wouldn't be worthy of her affections.

Boy, a deep voice said, interrupting his thoughts.

"Huh?" He looked around in confusion, only to figure out that his best friend was speaking telepathically. "What is it?"

I've been foolish all along. How did I not notice that? The tone was an angered tone, the Legendary recalling past memories. Boy, leave this place, now. Abandon your match and get to the highest possible point you can reach. I will need to be at full power for this!

Silver:
"There, all healed up." Nurse Joy said with a smile as Silver couldn't stop thining about that man who threatened him earlier. It was unclear what the guy wanted Celebi for, but he couldn't think about it at the moment as sleep would evidently come first and he didn't want to sleep with anything nagging at his mind, especially after what had happened the night before.

Walking back to the hotel, Silver looked back at the day's events, the storm which was unlike anything that he had seen before, the fight against the Cryogonal and Accelgor, and finally the psychic who wanted Celebi. There was one other thing on Silver's mind, he didn't know what had happened to Rook. The last time he saw him, he was rescuing those trapped within the ship, but he would think that Rook got out there safely and in one piece, and that he would be thinking about Silver too.

"Master, are you ok? Are you worried about that psychic?" Celebi said telepathically. "Yeah, I'm sure that he'll make his move on us again, but I'd rather worry about that tomorrow." Celebi understood what Silver was thinking and decided not to reply to him. When Silver got into his room, he flung his bag onto the floor and leapt onto the bed.

Steve:
Sitting on his chair, throwing his weapons belt on the coat rack, Steve thought to himself. "Today was a minor setback, but, tomorrow will be another story, for I have these." Getting up he looked upon his specialty smoke bombs, filled with essence of Vileplume Stun Spore. He grinned wildly as those were among his most dangerous weapons and that he couldn't wait to try them out.

- The next morning -

Alex:
Rubbing his eyes, Alex started to make his way to the shower when his datacard bleeped, which caused him to almost tumble to the ground in order to grab it and check the message, but all it said was the same as yesterday, to be at the courtyard for 10am. "With all my training yesterday, there isn't anyone who will stand before me." he mused as he started to make his way back to the bathroom.

After taking a longer shower than yesterday, Alex gathered his things and headed out to the courtyard. He was sure that whatever would kick off today's festivities would be nothing compared to yesterdays, however he was feeling psyched, but he didn't want his competition to know that.

Silver:
Giving out a huge yawn, Silver stetched his arms before getting out of bed. Stepping into the shower and turning it on, Silver tried his hardest to not think of anything else but his battle strategy as he wanted to pool all of his energy to the day's events, even though with recent events, that would be impossible.

Heading back to his room, drying his head with a towel, he noticed his datacard had been bleeping, but he would not pick it up at first as his hands were still wet. A few moments later, he picked it up, took a quick glance at the message and he started to make his way towards the courtyard. "Master, are you prepared for what today will bring?" Celebi said telepathically. "Oh yeah, I sure am, but that doesn't mean I won't keep my wits about me."

After a long day, Terra stretched her arms as she got out of bed and got dressed and prepared to go to the courtyard. This time though, she was in no rush. After all, it wasn't as though she woke up merely 5 minutes before she had to get there like last time. But a couple of things were on her mind. There was the incident with the boat, which Terrakion insisted that her mistress help deal with. Then there was still the Unown, whose trainer Terra needed to find instantly. She had a hunch that it was the person in the trenchcoat that the Rock-type Musketeer noted earlier, but as for the location of said person... that was still up in the air.

Still, Terra was lost in her thoughts when all of a sudden, her Dugtrio decided to pop up beside her.

"Dugtrio."

"Oh, hey you," Terra greeted warmly, rubbing her hand over the Mole Pokemon's three heads, "What do you want, hmm?"

"Dugtrio."

"A race?" Terra blushed as she asked this, "But you always beat me..."

"Dugtrio."

"Oh, alright. But take it easy this time..."

Rook stared at the trainer across from him. A petite looking woman wearing baggy clothes and a pair of glasses much too big for her face. He had ran into her earlier in the morning, having been out for training. He hadn't been doing much of it since he arrived on the island and he didn't want his Pokemon to fall into a sense of laziness. Having seen a fellow trainer out battling, Rook took the opportunity to propose a one on one battle with the young woman, who had introduced herself as Nell. "Alright Rook, let's get this battle started." Despite Nell's vulnerable appearance, her steely gaze told an entirely different story. This would be a good battle.

"Let's go, Cradily!" Emerging from its Pokeball, a plant-like Pokemon appeared in front of Rook. The ancient Pokemon sported a strange appearance, having no visible eyes or arms. "What a rare specimen." Nell exclaimed, retrieving her Pokedex from her back pocket. She held it up, scanning Cradily.

Cradily, the Barnacle Pokemon

Rock Grass

It lives in the shallows of warm seas. When the tide goes out, it digs up its prey from the beaches.

"I was not expecting to see such an exquisite creature." Nell said, replacing her Pokedex in her back pocket and retrieving a Pokeball of her own. Not bothering to throw it, she simply opened it in her hand. Emerging from the white light that accompanied the opening of the Pokeball, a large bee-like Pokemon appeared on the field. "Vespiquen and I will start things off with Attack Order!" Nell pointed her finger at the unmoving figure of Cradily, adding a dramatic flair to the command.

A swarm of shifting yellow figures appeared around Vespiquen. The yellow cloud quickly began to take form, transforming into a swarm of transparent bee-like conjurations. With a flurry of her hands, the Vespiquen ordered the summoned swarm to attack. Doing as told, the swarm of bees buzzed towards the waiting Cradily. "A unique creature and attack, but sadly, it won't be effective. Cradily execute Maneuver 5." Rook smiled as he declared the order.

Cradily was one of Rook's more vulnerable Pokemon, its odd physiology and low speed proved a problem in battles. This had prompted the two to create a series of combinations that could quickly be executed to make up for Cradily's lack of agility. Cradily opened its gaping maw, preparing to execute the move Swallow. Normally, the attack wouldn't do any good without having first used Stockpile, but if the timing was just right, it would prove to be effective against Vespiquen's attack.

The swarm of bees flew right into Cradily's waiting mouth. Snapping its mouth shut, Cradily trapped the swarm within herself, causing the conjured swarm to quickly dissipate without causing any damage. "What a peculiar battle strategy. The really is something." Nell took out a small notebook and scribbled something down, her gaze then returning to the battle.

"Our turn to go on the offensive. Cradily use Energy Battle followed by a triple Stockpile." An orb of crackling green energy rocketed towards the hovering Vespiquen. The unfortunate placement of the Beehive Pokemon in front of its trainer made it impossible for it to dodge the grass type attack without putting Nell in danger. So, despite various commands from its trainer, Vespiquen took the hit from the attack, allowing Cradily enough time to execute and complete 3 Stockpiles.

"Always mind your surroundings." Rook said, an almost smug smile appearing on his face. Despite the jibe, Nell took the comment with a happy heart. "You are just full of oddities. Nonetheless, you will not survive the storm of the swarm. Vespiquen! Use Slash!" The insectoid Pokemon rushed forward, its claws glowing with power from the attack. "Cradily, Maneuver 3!" As Vespiquen charged in for the attack, Cradily began to charge an Energy Ball. However, instead of releasing the attack, Cradily allowed the sphere to continue to charge. It grew in size, quickly becoming an obstacle that Vespiquen would have to figure a way around.

Unable to turn back, Vespiquen slashed at the charged up Energy Ball, which exploded in an array of energy spewing across the field, dealing damage to both Pokemon. Rook muttered a curse beneath his breath. He had been unable to work out the kinks of the maneuver and as such had damaged his Pokemon in the process. But that would have to wait, he had a battle to win.

"Finish it with Spit Up!" Cradily reared back its head, unleashing three orbs of orange light out of its mouth. The orbs rocketed towards Vespiquen, who was still recovering from the backlash of the Energy Ball that had been used as shield. "Use Attack Order to intercept!" Nell cried, but she was too late. The powerful attack hit its mark. Vespiquen was down for the count.

(Later)

Rook stepped out of the Pokemon Center, having gotten Cradily healed after their battle. The morning was just beginning, but sleep tugged at Rook's eye lids. His early morning had taken quite a toll on him, but he didn't have time for a nap. They would be releasing match ups soon and that meant he would have to just suffer through the weariness. In the mean time, he should look for Silver. The two still had a lot to talk about.
Serena hadn't been able to sleep all night. She had tossed around in bed for hours before finally giving up and taking a walk around the island. Around three in the morning she thought she saw an unconscious figure passed out on the beach, but she had decided to leave it be. Three in the morning was not her happy hour and she had no desire to be around anyone, even if that 'anyone' could be passed out and in need of help.

The cause for Serena's unease was that damn Clement boy. He had gone and gotten himself hurt and now Serena was paying for it. I told you so. Shut up! Entei had been making comments all night. It was obvious that he was upset with Serena for getting involved with Suicune's Guardian, but she could feel that there was something more weighing on the volcanic Legendary. Of course that could be any number of things. The danger of the Tournament. The appearance of his two brothers. The need to find Raikou a Guardian. The responsibilities were stacking up. Even Serena was beginning to feel the pressure.

Walking into the Pokemon Center, Serena bumped into a man carrying a Pokeball. He muttered an apology, in which Serena replied with "You better be." Making her way to the front desk, she asked about Clement's condition. The nurse looked something up on the computer and informed her that he was sleeping comfortably. She asked to go see him, but was refused access to his room. Only family members were allowed to see patients after visiting hours... of course at six in the morning it was actually before visiting hours.

Figuring that she would just wait, Serena took a seat in the lobby. Picking up a magazine, the fiery tempered girl began to flip through last month's issue of Pokemon Fashion Monthly. A few hours later she would get a message to go to the courtyard, and she would follow said instruction, hopefully with Clement.
Rivere snoozed gracefully on a stone bench in the castle courtyard. She had overslept and as such had scrambled to the courtyard only to find that she had misread the message. What she had mistaken as 1 minute, actually read 1 hour. Although, no one could blame her. Her brain was such a mess at the moment that she could have seen a Lugia and thought it was a Pidgey. Her night had been riddled with nightmares.

Dreams of fire and the cries of wild Pokemon still sat at the edges of her mind. They had been horrible and she wished she knew what had brought them on. It is just the stress, darling. No cause for worry. Rivere nodded at the Legendary's kind words. Sitting up, she straightened herself. Figuring that it was not becoming to sleep in public, Rivere made an effort to stay awake, but her sleepless night had left her in a condition that made her think that even the unforgiving concrete of a stone bench was a pillow meant for a king.

Kallen shivered, the cold steel of the table pressing against his bare body. He could not remember exactly what happened last night, but bits and pieces of the experience flitted through his mind. He remembered needles and strangely colored vials. He remembered doctors wearing surgical masks and he remembered...MEW! The thought of his friend snapped Kallen out of his drug induced waking dream. Regaining full consciousness he surveyed his surroundings.

Kallen found that he was bound to a cold metal table. The room was otherwise bare, offering him only bright white walls and questions...but no answers. His body was completely bare. Normally he would have been embarrassed by the nudity, but he had more pressing matters. He heard the sound of a door opening and strained his head to look behind him. A doctor entered the room. He carried with him a syringe sporting a yellow liquid. More than likely a sedative. "MEW!? HELP ME?! SOMEONE! HELP!" Kallen cried out telepathically, but he knew that it was all in vain.

---

The next time that Kallen woke he was lying in a bed. Not on a cold table, but in a nice warm bed. For a moment he thought the experience from before had just been a dream, but after noticing the IV in his arm, he dismissed that hopeful notion. Leather bonds still restrained him, but he was luckily clothed this time. He wore what seemed to be a medical patient gown. "How the Heatran did I get here?" Kallen asked groggily. After he spoke the words he heard a shuffling of movement then the opening of a door.

The same doctor from before entered his line of vision. Kallen immediately tensed up. Any guy that forcibly gave him a sedative was not to be trusted. "I imagined you are a bit confused and disoriented Kallen. I am Doctor Hallen, we met last night, do you remember? I am in charge of the PokeHuman Interspecies Connection Department." Upon hearing the doctor's words, Kallen's memories were beginning to make more sense. Still, he was left with more questions than answers. "I still don't understand."

Doctor Hallen gave Kallen a pitying look. "All in good time, my friend."

Blake woke up that next morning, still feeling uneasy about the events that strung themselves together in the last two days. First Kaeden gets taken by the Psychotic Psychic...then a huge brawl at the beach...

You really shouldn't just think like that, Blake. Cobalion said, as he approached Blake's bedside.

"I-I dunno what your talking about..." Blake began, but was cut off by the Iron Will Pokemon.

You were thinking that if you arrived there sooner, you could've helped out. Help Kaeden out especially.

"Fine...I am thinking that...but its true." Blake said, as he got out of his bed, getting himself ready to head to the courtyard. "I'm supposed to be the leader of the Blades of Four, but I can't even help out like I should." He sighed, as he looked at Cobalion, who simply stood there, shaking his head.

The time will come. You must trust me on this, Blake. Besides, if you did arrive there...you wouldn't have found the other Swords. the Iron Will Pokemon said. There is always a flipside to each situation.

Blake nodded as he recalled Cobalion to the Master Ball, as he headed out towards the courtyard. Yeah...your right...

After the stressful day she had had yesterday Ice just wanted to stay in bed all day. Unfortunately the tournament had other plans, just like the first day she had to report to the stadium by 10 AM. Sighing Ice tumbled out of bed making her way to the shower stripping sleepily as she went.

As she turned it on Ice leaned against the shower wall letting the water roll down her body. Breathing slowly she slid down the shower wall, plugging the drain, allowing the water pool around her. Taking a breath Ice sank below the surface laying there for a minute. When her breath finally ran out she returned to surface, and shut of shower. Unplugging it she dressed while it drained slowly.

Taking the same six Pokeballs from yesterday Ice bid her remaining Pokemon farewell as she exited the hotel room, grabbing her music player before she left. Sticking the two earbuds in she hoped the soft orchestral piece would soothing her nerves.

Floaroma Town OST {Orchestral Remix}

As Ice approached the arena she sighed happily, the music having done wonders. It really was quite a beautiful day today, especially compared to yesterday's storm. Maybe she would find the boy today, she hoped he was here, that was her only reason for showing up after all.

Eon walked through the empty hallways of the Team Purity Base. They had set one up underneath Archanum City a few months before the tournament, knowing that it would greatly needed in the final assault on the Guardians. That time had not yet come, but would quickly be approaching. He reached a door that read Research & Development. Beneath that there was a name written out. Doctor Robert Elias. Eon cringed at the name. Such an annoying man. Eon knew that he did not truly belong with Team Purity, the doctor was as wishy-washy as that N.N. fellow, but desperate times had called for desperate measures. Plus, if he was lucky, Moira would be around.

While he wouldn't admit it, Eon was quite impressed with Moira's abilities to lead and battle. She would definitely be needed in the grand event. If he could only figure out why she was so enthralled with the deluded doctor. Eon raised his hand to knock on the door, but realized that that would be a sign of subordination. And he was definitely not Elias' subordinate.

Throwing open the door, he noticed the doctor hunched over a work table working on something or rather. "Is it ready?" Eon asked. He knew that the Doctor would know what he was talking about.
Clement opened his eyes, slowly coming to. His vision was blurry and the room seemed to be spinning. He nearly threw up, but held it in, having no desire to be sick. Ever so cautiously he began to sit up. A dull throbbing in his leg made him gasp. He looked down to see an array of bandages tightly bound across his leg. He ran his hands over the white bandages and the memories of yesterday came rushing back.

It appeared as if his consciousness hadn't gone unnoticed. Serena sat by his side, coming out of slight dose. "How long have I been out?" Clement ask. His voice slightly rough. Serena rubbed the sleep out of her eyes. "How are you feeling?" She asked, ignoring his question. "Like a drowned Diglett, now how long have I been out?" Finished rubbing her eyes, Serena fixed Clement with a dangerous stare, that even raise the hair along his spine. "You've been out just for a night. Calm down. Let me go get a doctor." Stepping out of the room, Serena went to find a doctor.

As Serena left, Clement looked around, taking stock of the situation. It appeared as if he was in a hospital, which made sense since he was shot and left out in the pouring rain for a few hours. No doubt that he had a whole slew of problems. But now there was only one thing on his mind. The man who shot you disappeared. Raikou is out on the beach. Entei is with that girl. Clement could feel the disapproval in Suicune's voice as he referred to Serena. He understood now.

When they had first met, Suicune had said something about a broken family. Apparently the brothers hadn't seen each other since they were stolen from Clement's family. He didn't know more than that, but he was sure that some kind of dispute had occurred, and was more than likely still going on. Now that he knew that Suicune was okay, Clement had another pressing matter. Finding his clothes.

Dressed in only a hospital gown, and nothing else, his cheeks flushed slightly with embarrassment. That had meant someone had undressed him and he dreaded the idea that it had been Serena. He shook the thought from his mind. Surely it had been one of the doctor's. Right? Once again dismissing the thought, he spotted his clothes lying on the bedside table. He noticed that they were not the one's he had worn yesterday. He made a note to ask Serena about that.

Swinging his legs over the bed side, he groaned as a sharp pain tore through his leg. Be careful. Clement dismissed Suicune's warning with a telepathic wave of the hand. He was fine. Quickly taking off the gown. He grabbed a pair of boxers and jeans. Carefully working it over the bandages. He stood on one leg, pulling the pants into place. Just as he was buttoning his jeans, he heard the door open behind him. There was a soft 'Oh'.

Clement turned to see Serena standing in the doorway, a doctor behind her. He offered a slightly smile, retrieving his shirt and slipping it over his head. "What are you doing up?" The doctor asked, pushing passed Serena. He wore a horrified expression. "You should not be putting weight on that leg." Clement fixed the doctor with a deadly glare. Serena let out a sigh. The poor doctor had no idea what he was getting into.

Twenty minutes later...

Clement sat in a wheel chair, his arms crossed in annoyance. An irritated look sat on his face as Serena stood behind him, pushing the disgruntled youth through the throngs of people lining Archanum. "I could do this myself." He protested, trying to take control of the wheels. An amused smile appeared on Serena's face as she leaned down and slapped his hands. We shouldn't be wasting time. We need to help Raikou. Entei said. Serena nodded. They did need to help Raikou, but the thunderous beast could wait until after the matches for the day. He would have to.

"Blake!" Keaden shouted in surprise catching Cobalion's Guardian wandering around throughout the crowded courtyard. He ran towards the other Guardian, pushing past the other trainers and spectators who had also arrived, and stopped panting with Anne on his shoulder. The Sun Pokemon looked at the other Guardian, sizing him up, and could believe what Keaden had admitted earlier today- that Blake was the Iron Will Pokemon's Guardian.

"So," Keaden began managing to get his breathing under control, growing serious, "What do we do now?"
"What am I going to do?" Kazam asked himself as he wandered around on the rooftops trying to spot Seer. He had lost track of the boy and the Legendary Pokemon he was employed too had not the strength to search for him psychically; he did not wish to reveal himself and so sent the elderly Pokemon in his stead.

Finally he spotted Seer, wandering around aimlessly with his Pokegear out and occasionally glancing at it. Teleporting in front of the psychic trainer the Psi Pokemon jabbed him in the chest with the spoon-cane, "How dare you run off like that! Have you any idea the danger you have put not only yourself in but the mission as well!?"

Seer didn't answer, grabbing the spoon-cane and wrenching it away from the Alakazam causing him to topple over. He stamped the spoon-cane on the ground and glared at the Pokemon, "You do not speak to me like that Kazam."

"I apologize Master," Kazam said and retrieved the massive spoon when Seer tossed it to the ground. Clambering up the psychic Pokemon followed Seer as he glanced back at the Pokegear, "Seems I am to be in another match soon. Unfortunately we can't make our move unless Team Plasma gets involved again."

"About that sir," Kazam said in a low tone and moved closer to Seer so only he could hear, "Anne is currently with the youngest of the Blades of Justice . . . we could . . ."

As Kazam laid out the plan Seer's mouth turned into a wide grin.

"Blake! So, what do we do now?"

Blake turned to Kaeden, and of course, Anne. "Well...first off...wanna apologize for not helping you yesterday. Should've been there to help...and to you Espeon..." he said, switching to talk to the Espeon. "Your still that Psyhic's Pokemon...but thanks for helping Kaeden and Keldeo out."

Seems your tolerating the Espeon now, Blake.

Cobalion...don't start. Blake chuckled as he turned back to Kaeden. "Well I've found the other two: Terra and Rivere. Those are the last two that we needed. Once they get here, we can form our alliance and try and stop Purity from doing this crap. And possibly, stop that Psychic...no offense to you." he said, nodding slightly at Anne.

Draco walked through the wooded area of the island, trying to head towards the courtyard, as he stopped at a tree to catch his breath. "The information that Silver gave me should be correct. And from what Aya told me...this is the right way." he said, as he looked from the way he came, nothing but woods.

However, he kept having a strange feeling that he was being watched...but he couldn't tell by who...or from where...

"Ace! Front and center!" Draco said as he called forth his Arcanine, as he howled loudly, standing beside his master. "OK! Whoever is here...show yourself! Or Ace here will have fun blasting you with fire."

Silence stood in the area he was at...until rustling was heard. Draco and Ace turned towards the way he was headed...only to be surprised by the sight.

"No...way..."

The two warriors sat cross legged across from one another, their patron Legendaries behind them. The massive dragons seemed to be completely at ease, merely staring at one another. The two men below them seemed to be a bit more edgy. They twitched about in either anticipation or anxiety, yet they said not a word. "It is time." Giratina said, voicing his thoughts out loud. Rayquaza, the dragon across from him, nodded in turn.

They had hoped that there would not have to do this, but what with recent events it seemed as if there is no other way. "The Guardians of the other Legendaries are failing us. The King has done nothing to stop the evil on his island. And the extinction of our kind is quickly approaching. And yet, that is not even the most concerning. I fear that it is one of our own that is causing the trouble." Rayquaza stated, causing a shocked expression to pass through the two men's faces.

"You mean?"

"I do."

"Then we can no longer sit idle. We must stop him. Him and his Guardian." With those words, a massive portal engulfed the still form of Giratina and the fidgeting man below him. Just as the portal swallowed him up, he called out to what appeared to be his comrade. "We will see each other again."

Gray found himself at the edge of a beach, facing the gentle waters of an ocean. He dipped his hands in the water, bringing it to his face. To his surprise, he found that the water was not salty, but fresh. That could only mean he was on Archanum. Doing a three sixty, he took in the sights of the surrounding area. He nearly fell on his butt when he came face to face with an Alakazam carrying a large spoon staff and purple haired man.

This is the Guardian.

Regaining his composure, Gray eyed the man. "You are Seer yes? I am afraid I cannot let you leave here alive." Gray snapped his fingers, a shadowy mist instantly encompassing the area. To an outsider, it would appear to be a dome, but from the inside it looked to extend forever. The dome would cut off the psychic from teleporting as well as prevent any outsider from interfering.

Gray held his hands out to his sides. Two [acronym='Shadow Ball']dark spheres[/acronym] appeared in them. With a grunt, he hurled each of them. One aimed at the purple haired psychic and the other at the Alakazam. The psychic could not be allowed to endanger the plans of the all mighty.

Raikou heard the assailant before he saw him. Blasting a bolt of lightning in that direction, he turned to survey the damage. Stepping out of the treeline that lined the edge of the beach, an astonished looking man appeared. It looked as if Raikou's bolt of lightning had just missed its target. "Give me one good reason I shouldn't fry your brains."

"Blake! So, what do we do now?"

"Well . . . first off, I wanna apologize for not helping you yesterday. I should've been there to help," Blake began but Keaden immediately interrupted him, waving his hands, "Oh no you don't need to apologize to me!"

"It was a good thing you didn't come to the beach," Keldeo said from his Master Ball, keeping his word not to tell Blake anything involving Seer. However, it was merely because Anne, Seer's Espeon, was currently on his Guardian's shoulder- if Anne had not been there Keldeo would have gladly told Colbalion and Blake everything.

"And to you Espeon," Blake had continued now addressing the Espeon, "Your still that Psyhic's Pokemon . . . but thanks for helping Kaeden and Keldeo out."

"He has a name!" Anne snapped at Blake. Keldeo, materializing out of his Master Ball, finished, "The Espeon calls him Seer."

Anne let out almost a lighthearted chuckle and jumped onto Keldeo's back, making it awkward for the Legendary Pokemon, "Guardian thank you for your words but I have to admit . . . my actions are merely a reflection of my Master's own wishes. He would have done just the same as I did."

Anne believed that but it wasn't true. Had Seer had the chance to save Keldeo he would have, leaving Keaden to die.

"Well I've found the other two: Terra and Rivere. Those are the last two that we needed. Once they get here, we can form our alliance and try and stop Purity from doing this crap. And possibly, stop Seer . . . no offense," Blake explained, nodding slightly at Anne who in turn nodded back. She knew full well the Swords of Justice viewed her trainer as a threat.

"Alright then lets go get Terra and Rivere now!" Keaden said overexcited to meet the other Swords of Justice. Even Keldeo broke loose and grew excited from the prospect of seeing Terra and Rivere again, his smile grinning from ear to ear.

Yet before they could move an explosion rocked the courtyard, knocking Anne off of Keldeo as he stumbled to keep his footing. As the shockwave disappeared Anne sensed something and turned to Keaden, ordering him, "Go get the other swords, now!"

"Hey don't order Keaden around!" Keldeo barked back.

"She's right Keldeo," Keaden said though it pained him to admit it. He felt that by agreeing with Anne he was also agreeing with Seer, but whatever had caused the explosion would probably be better faced with four Legendary Pokemon than two.

"You are Seer yes?" Gray asked as he approached Seer and Kazam. The psychic trainer glared at the man as he walked forward and spoke, "And if I am?"

"I am afraid I cannot let you leave here alive."

No sooner did Gray finish speaking did a dark mist encompassed both of them. The moment the dark circle finished forming Kaza grabbed hold of Seer as he doubled over, almost loosing all the strength in his legs. The Psi Pokemon's gaze returned to Gray as two dark spheres appeared in the palms of his hands.

The elderly Pokemon barely had time to push both of them out of the way as the explosion echoed through the seemingly endless void. "One who can use darkness?" Kazam realized managing to get up as Seer remained on the ground in pain, "This will be tough." Hoisting the spoon-cane up Kazam held it out parallel to Gray and spoke through telepathy, "You say you wish to kill the young master but that will not happen. Not while I still draw breathe."

"I think you might want to rethink your plan old man," Gallade said as he appeared from his Pokeball, Seer managing to stand. The Blade Pokemon raised his hands to shift into a defensive position, "You know as well as I your attacks won't do shit against a dark-type, but I'm part fighting . . . so we might as well be on equal terms here."

"Get going Kazam," Seer mumbled as he drifted in and out of consciousness. With a knowing nod Kazam lifted Seer over his shoulders, tossed Gallade the his massive spoon, and made a break for it to escape as the other Pokemon unleashed a Psycho Cut to push the human back, knowing it wouldn't harm him.

Gray saw the incoming attack. Stepping to the side, he lost no ground and easily avoided it. "I may be able to use the darkness, but I am not inherently of the dark. Your fighting skills will be of no use to you" As Gray said this, the shadows began to twist around, shielding him from Gallade's view. "SHADOW FORCE!" He cried from the shadows, suddenly appearing behind the Gallade and hitting him with the ghost type attack. Knowing that it would be super effective, he wasted no more time on the Pokemon. His goal was Seer and Seer alone.

The dome that he had trapped the psychic was inescapable. The only way Seer was getting out was in a body bag. Of course, there was the possibility that Seer would escape by killing Gray, but in doing so he would have to defeat the Legendary Pokemon, Giratina. That would prove to be a monumental feat indeed. Racing through the shadows, Gray quickly came upon the fleeing Alakazam and Seer. "You cannot escape. This is my realm. The only way out is defeating me. And believe me, that won't happen."

Lifting his hands above his head, a dark energy began to collect in between his palms. Slamming it down on the ground, a vicious Dark Pulse rocketed towards the psychic duo. This would be easier than he had thought.

Kallen walked amongst the trainers in the courtyard. His right arm was sore, which was understandable, given the circumstances. From what Doctor Hallen had told him, last night had been quite the doozy.

After agreeing to go back to the castle, Kallen was informed of a new procedure that would bind human and Pokemon into one. It had been done before, but not by mankind. It was common for the older and more powerful Legendaries to bind themselves to a human host. This allowed said human to take on the strengths of the Pokemon, but also remain true to their human half. Until recently, there had been no way for the humans to do this, but with a recent break through, they were willing to try. And Kallen had been their test subject.

They had offered to bind Mew to his human Guardian. After the argument involving how they knew about Mew, Kallen and his Legendary continued to protest to the idea. It wasn't until the Doctor had brought up the fact that it would offer a safe haven for Mew. If the procedure was done correctly, then the small, psychic Legendary would not be able to be stolen. So, after hours of deliberation, they had given the go.

Now back amongst the people of Archanum, Kallen could feel each and everything that was going. The procedure had been a success, granting Kallen a great deal of enhanced psychic powers. His telepathy was so powerful, that even without concentrating Kallen could feel the thoughts and emotions of people swimming around him. He tried not to focus on them, feeling as if he was invading on their privacy, but occasionally he would catch a snippet of mental conversation or a brief glimpse at a thought. It was slightly overwhelming.

The only thing that kept him sane throughout the process was Mew. No longer needing a Pokeball, Mew actually resided within his partner. Able to manifest himself as a separate being whenever he wanted, Mew was afforded the freedom that he wanted as well as the protection that Kallen wanted for his friend. There was one thing that Kallen suspected that the doctors hadn't told him though. If he were to die, there would be no escape for Mew. In fact, with their energies tied together, one could only infer that Mew too would die.

The Doctor had been quick to inform him however that if the physical Mew were to be hurt, he could easily retreat back into Kallen for safety. At the thought, Kallen looked down at his arm again. What appeared to be tattoo had been permanently engraved into his skin. A reminder that he and his closest friend were now one.
