Don't disappear the mountain! Blaze won't be able to have his magma bath if you do! D:

Also, I find that notion to be rather hilarious. x)

Ignoring stuff like this from now on.

[spoiler=The Champion of Balance]Application:

"..................."

Username: Renko Usami(formerly Tenshi Hinanain)

Name: Kazuya

Age: Physically 18, actual age is around the 50 or 60s

Gender: Male

Appearance: [spoiler=Image links]http://images4.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20120921120531/megamitensei/images/0/05/Kazuya_render.png (casual)

http://images1.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20120921125152/megamitensei/images/0/0d/Kazuya_render_2.png (mission)

Origin: http://megamitensei.wikia.com/wiki/Protagonist_(Shin_Megami_Tensei)

Biography:

One unfortunate day, Kazuya was doing a mission to subjugate some demons in a remote dungeon, along with several of his trusted companions. Unknown to him, there were several traitors among the ranks, with the mission specifically to kill him.

When the party was resting inside the dungeon, the traitors launched a surprise attack, killing all of Kazuya's retainer, and left Kazuya to bleed to death. Kazuya could then hear a faint laugh, continued with a conversation among the traitors on how they will take control of Kazuya's city from him, and how they will start enacting YHVH's grand plan of creating the One-Thousand Year Kingdom, basically tuner all that Kazuya had done until the point meaningless, as humanity would once again lost their sense of self in the hands of Heaven.

Drowning in hopelessness as he started to slowly fade away into oblivion, someone suddenly appeared in front of Kazuya. A man with an almost woman-like slender figure, dressed in the apparel of a king, a king of the legends to be more exact. The man, with a feminine yet a deep and dignified voice, introduced himself as Arturia, and he then offered Kazuya a second chance to save his world, in exchange for his help defending the multiverse.

At first Kazuya was hesitant, but with him being almost dead and having no other choices, he accepted Arturia's offer. He was then immediately warped out of the dungeon.

Personality:

Quite a silent fellow, he prefers actions over mere words, He disliked popularity and admiration, thinking that it'll only ruin someone in the end.

A firm believer of neutrality, he believes that the human race shouldn't be controlled by any other otherworldly power, and that they should be able to decide their own fates. This is one of the reason why he kind of hated the idea of helping the king figure at first, though by realizing that this might be a way for him to actually removes outside power from affecting humans in his world once and for all.

He's the type of person that will not stop at anything to reach his goal, no matter how many life he should take, no matter how many bonds he has to break to achieve it. He didn't quite liked company, preferring to do things alone, mainly since his two friends ended up being his enemy and has to be killed by his own hands, and the string of betrayal that often happened to him.

He's quite skilled with using speech to persuade both humans and demons alike to join his cause, and this is something that made him survive most of the trials in his life.

Faction: The Counter Corps

Important Artifact Stolen: The Angel's Ring and the Devil's Ring

Powers/Equipment:

-Demon Summoning: Kazuya's main strength. He can summon multiple demons using his COMPs, and he can fuse them into a stronger demon, but that function is lately has never been used. Though, he usually summoned his dog fused with a demon, Pascal. Due to the dungeon accident, he had lost access to most of his other demons due to an error in his COMP.

[spoiler=Demon's stats]

Pascal: Pascal is the loyal dog that has been with Kazuya for all of his life. Pascal excels in Physical attacks and have a higher than average physical durability and speed, though his defense for magic is quite miniscule. He's quite weak to ice attack, but fully immune to Fire and Dark attacks. He can also use fire magic, but not quite strong at that.

-Negotiation: He quite excels at negotiating with anyone and anything, persuading them to give him items or joining his cause. Though, ones in the more extreme sides can resist his offers quite easily.

-Hinokagutsuchi: His strongest sword with an elemental affinity to Fire. Made from the fusion of a demon and a legendary divine sword, the sword can pretty much devastate anything it hits, and being quite light, Kazuya can use it for many maneuvers and combinations attacks.

-Peacemaker: His strongest machine gun. Its terrible hit percentage is offset by the fact thatit's really strong when it connects, and the fact that it has practically infinite ammunition due to it being made from the lingering demonic energy made physical.

-Item usage: As the attackers forgot to take away his items, he has loads of healing items for his team's use.

Finished the app finally. Is it acceptable?

PERSONA.  Hype for this character.

Radamanthys seems more like the figure that watches/manipulates things rather than actual confrontation to me.

Anyways, my app for now:

Personal Information

Username: Decibel

Name: Cerebrum

Age: ?

Gender: ?

Date of Birth: ?

Blood Type: ?

Faction: Counter Corps/Neutral/Divine

Origin: Genei wo Kakeru Taiyou/Day Break Illusion/il sole penetra le illusioni - Link

Important Artifact: None

[spoiler=Appearance]

Along with the above information, Cerebrum can change his appearance, but he can also change his appearance and body to things that are not human, such as turning his arm into snakes. He can also manifest clothes this way as well. In his default male appearance, he is partially naked, just wearing black pants with various bands of a light grey wrapping around. He has a light blue band covering his upper torso, with black bands outlining it. His wrists are also fashioned with a grey band, with black straps winding around it.

[spoiler=Personality]His personality is typically cruel, although he indulges in - dark - humor at times, and he is surprisingly clever. From what one can see, he has no qualms about turning people into Daemonia, nor about the deaths and wreckage they will cause. The image of a master manipulator, a permanent sly expression lies on his face as he deceives people with his words and gaze. Sometimes, hints of a light within can be seen, but he hides this. It's not that the light was subjugated, but rather abandoned, so things that would lift mind-altering effects would not affect him, but due to the light, weapons specifically targeting evil or dark wouldn't be completely effective either. In most cases however, he is the ice-heart that leads many people onto their deaths, collecting their souls. He is not cowardly, but knows his own limits, and typically avoids groups or physical combat, unless he is sure to win, as he had learned from his near fatal mistake once. If anyone ever managed to witness a contract in effect however, it would chill most people to the soul, with the sinful temptations that Cerebrum weaves into the person, letting loose their darker desires. With punishing remarks, Cerebrum makes the person feel worthless, and then angry at all those who might've even slightly hurt them, and he leads them on to say that taking a card will grant them their deepest wishes - which at that point, are much more destructive than what they once thought. As the person undergoes their transformation, he revels in the hordes of negativity that soon bloom out as people die in waves and the landscape gets destroyed. He enjoys the thrill of being able to manipulate and control so many beings, and the "high" of sorts from the rampant despair.

He does have a kinder side though, although it's rare to see it. He doesn't care for his daughter, but he does show leniency in certain fights, where he normally would've brutally continued to crush the opponent. In addition, while he does prey on people's suffering, you could say in a twisted way, he cares for them as you would for something you created. While he does not risk love anymore, he still is sore about the point where the woman he loved had died, and covers this up with his cruelty.

Cerebrum is a wise being, and doesn't hesitate in using it in whatever way that suits him, whether it be stripping a person of their defenses and will, or in battle.

[spoiler=Biography]Cerebrum's history is to say the very least, intriguing. No one quite knows how Cerebrum had been born, but it is presumed he was the first, and the strongest Daemonia. He had once fallen in love with a woman, who gave birth to a child. She soon died afterwards though for an unknown reason, and this triggered a violent change in his attitude. He rejected the child that had been borne of him, but in a last twinge of kindness, he left her at the door of a kind foster family, and set off on a course of destruction, giving into his Daemonian instincts and feelings. Maintaining his human knowledge and wisdom to become the strongest there ever was, he turned from his once kind nature. Growing crueler and harder, his once pure mind blew away like dust in a hurricane. As negativity overtook him, and he grew ever stronger, he summoned the Diabolos Tarot, sealing his fate. Using these to create the first sub-Daemonia, he eventually grew insane and murderous, even with his darkly humorous attitude at times. What was once Cerebrum was gone, replaced by a sadistic being. Spreading despair and chaos throughout the world, a group of Elemental Tarot users - who used the counterpart to the Diabolos Tarot - was formed to stop him. What wasn't known was that the group who founded the academy was also the group founding him, for reasons unknown.

Cerebrum recognized his daughter's appearance as she was growing up though, and saw as she was recruited into the academy. When she had first started discussing about hearing the Daemonian voices of suffering, the duo leading the foundation grew suspicious, and as she and her friends grew further and further meddlesome, he put more and more effort into his plans to defeat them, which were countered each time, even after he had successfully killed one of the group using her counterpart, and made several other students disappear. He continued to work away though, and his plans began to come to fruition, when he turned another of her friends into a Daemonia, and then pitted the Daemonia-Elemental against another of her friends, ending up with both of them dying. It was a shame the subject died, but the card had come back to him anyways, and he could just try it on another Elemental Tarot user. With three of the four down, he finally clashed with his daughter, but the two leaders as well as several others of the academy quickly found out, and they pursued him into his own plane with his twisted and corrupted Tree of Life. As they clashed, he brought forth the collective Daemonia that he had created up until now, and destroyed the weaker students. The two leaders were more of a problem than he expected, as they were The World and Judgement, but they were forbidden to use their powers except for one brief attack, which pierced the containment which he had trapped his daughter in to weaken her. After they were gone, they couldn't do anything but watch. His daughter was already too weak, and couldn't fight back, even after being freed, but upon gaining full consciousness, her Daemonia half had awakened, but her human half was still there, and she fought with Cerebrum, her Daemonia half giving her the needed strength, at the cost of her own human counterpart. For a part in the fight, it seemed like she might've managed to win, but as he grew annoyed, he let loose his full Manifestation. Two of the girls, The Fool and The Magician had not died yet though, to his surprise, and they had been carefully healing while he was fighting with his daughter. As they pushed on the attack, they managed to damage him with powerful magic blasts and knives. When his daughter went on the attack, being The Sun, she used flames, burning at him, and managed to pierce his core, swimming through the despair and souls within, and almost managed to pierce his own card, which was The Sun for the Diabolos Tarot. With a desperate maneuver, he pushed her out by forcing out a good amount of the despair and souls within him, weakening him to the point they both collapsed to the ground, in their normal, regular forms. The two remaining girls closed in on him, but with a Schism step, he managed to escape for now, and went into hiding, pulling on things from behind the scene.

Currently, he managed to gain back almost half the souls he had lost, and created many more Daemonia. Even if the vast majority were destroyed after they were caught by the academy, which was dwindling, as it could never replenish their lost, many human lives had been destroyed, further adding to his collection, and spreading despair around the world. He is now more careful than he once was, and is strong enough to be deadly in a fight again, so he takes pride in that. Going after each target with a sadistic glee, he continues to gain souls and become ever more powerful…

Combat Information[spoiler=Weapon]He doesn't really rely on weapons, as he is more of a manipulator, but he has a sword that he can conjure. It is not an actual sword, but rather a manifestation that Cerebrum can create from despair. Thus, it follows different physics than a normal sword usually would, for example, plain heat not destroying or melting the metal. A strong energy attack would have to directly hit it to destroy it, and if that happens, unless it's strong enough to completely erase it from existence, the despair would flow back into Cerebrum, and he could recreate it, although he would more likely resort to other maneuvers. The actual sword has a black, hooked "D"-shaped grip, with the sword a jagged protrusion of a grayish metal in appearance, with multiple indigo ridges coming out from the base of the blade.

In addition to the sword, he has his main tool, which consists of a tarot deck that he can conjure and manipulate at will. They are known as the Diabolos Tarot, and each are made up of the virus-like Daemonia. Cerebrum gives them away when he makes a contract, but if the host is destroyed, unless they are completely, truly destroyed, the card will shatter, but return back to him. He currently has the entire deck in his possession. They can be used as "poisonous" weapons by shooting them at beings using something akin to telekinesis. Upon contact, the card will sink in, and pierce into the soul, and the horde of Daemonia within will infect and corrupt the person, turning them into a collective mass entity called a Daemonia. Strong-hearted people or pure beings can reject this however, forcing the virus-like entities back out, and thus, Cerebrum usually targets people he know are already in an unstable and weakened state. He can also manifest a card as an elegant knife of sorts, embellished in gold and indigo designs. If someone is stabbed with the knife, it can also carry out the same effect, but the shock of getting stabbed combined with a possible feeling of betrayal can easily cause negative feelings to fester, thus opening up the person's heart to the Daemonia which could infect them easier in their weakened state. As with the cards, it can be destroyed, but it would take an extremely pure or iron-willed person to reject this, as it creates an immense sense of pain and other negative feelings, meant to weaken the target. However, this is a close-range weapon, and in most cases, Cerebrum won't risk it, unless he can separate a person from a group if there is, or unless he can trick the unknowing being. These are created from the despair in the world however, and without the utter purging of all negative feelings, Cerebrum and the cards will continue to exist, as the cards are part of Cerebrum in a way, although the souls he had collected will disappear along with his power.

[spoiler=Powers]Calamitous Contract

This is his main power, and this is how most of his other powers gain power to work. He summons one of the various Diabolos Tarot cards that he possesses, each one granting different powers for the resulting Daemonia besides the default of causing destruction and spreading chaos and negative emotions. All infected hosts appear as a human, albeit with a insane look in their eyes, and an awkward gait. To those who can detect it though, they have a static-like haze around them. They also have "telekinesis" in a way, although this is just the influence of their true form on the current normal plane. For those who can see it, which are most competent warriors who can detect supernatural events, they can see the Daemonia on another plane, which is something akin to a pocket dimension it creates. Within that dimension, the Daemonia takes on a form, which varies, depending on the memories and the reason why the human fell to depravity. In wherever the core of the form is, they have a sphere inside, containing the Diabolos Tarot card which made them so. The only way to destroy them is to destroy the card, and no known cure exists, but it is presumed that Cerebrum knows it. It is unknown whether destroying Cerebrum will seal a Daemonia's fate, or undo it. If the Daemonia is destroyed, then the person on the normal plane will die a violent and bloody death, with no visible reason why. After their death, the body will rapidly dissolve and fade away, and any records of them will begin to disappear, such as from photos, as well as people's memories. The only people who will remember them are those who took part in the fight, or other magical beings. While this will return the Diabolos Tarot to Cerebrum in most cases as just destroying the card is not enough, utter and complete destruction of the card will destroy the card's "being", and require it to slowly come back, taking a much longer time than Cerebrum would like, before it comes back to him in any usable form. The only way to do something like this is to use a powerful holy attack, or through a plain magical attack, although this will need more strength, with holy or light-based attacks being more effective. In most scenarios though, the card will return one way or another, although if the destruction is close enough, it will take a while for it to return, but not as long as it would in complete destruction. The point of the contract and how Cerebrum gets so many people to fall to depravity is because he preys upon peoples' weakness and their negativity, coaxing it and letting it fester in them, loosening their will. All people have a wish, and in the case of people like this, it will most likely be related to whatever was causing such negative feelings, and Cerebrum promises to grant it, using his voice and eyes if necessary. He then gives them the card if they agree to the contract, and tells them to believe in it and let it flow into them. It truly grants them their wish however, but in most cases, this consists of killing everyone who caused the target stress or despair, being persuaded by Cerebrum to do so. If it is wish for money or such, then Cerebrum can manipulate it otherwise. The way this works is from almost every person and being having a Tree of Life, which is their fate, but he manipulates it, changing fate as they want. Once the wish is granted, Cerebrum comes to them, or summons them again into a pocket dimension of sorts, although it is like with the Daemonia and their true forms' planes. His abdomen then splits open to reveal an eyeless, worm-like Daemonia with a mouth, which then eats the person, taking their soul, and replacing it with the Daemonia which rapidly takes over, turning them into a monster hell-bent on killing, although in some cases, they feel pain, and want to die, because they realized they have been tricked, but can't die by themselves. If a strong-willed person is corrupted though, brief windows of consciousness as themselves may exist though. Due to this, it may seem he is Divine, and does occasionally drop in, to check over things, but in truth, he is neutral, preferring to spread negativity from behind the scenes. He also checks over the Counter Corps if he has an opening, but does not help either side specifically.

Schism Shift

As the sole intelligent Daemonia, he grew stronger as he learned more of what he could do, and Schism Shift is one of the most frequent things he can do, as it's an extremely simple move. With emphasis on "move". Cerebrum has a natural awareness of grim places, and a general detection of where his presence could  greatly change things. Each person or being has their feelings, and the vast majority of them have an "aura" of sorts. When the "aura" contains negative feelings however, he can chime in, rooting it out, and with a simple step, dematerialize, and then reappear in the general proximity of that region. As he spreads around his Diabolos Tarot, this creates extremely strong hotspots, creating a vast area that he can step to with more accuracy. This is not quite teleportation, as in a way, Cerebrum is pure despair, and thus exists everywhere there is despair, although his main thinking processes and whatnot are concentrated wherever his current form is. Via this, he just disappears and reforms himself at somewhere along "himself" of sorts. The best analogy would be as if Cerebrum was groundwater, and he can just sink back into the reserves, and then come out at another spring or opening, and the "openings" being wherever there are negative emotions, despair being the easiest to find and relocate to.

Silhouette Swap

Cerebrum can completely change his DNA as he needs, and with a complete understanding of how it works, he can take any form or shape he wants, including things not human. He frequently uses this when trying to deceive a target, by appearing as someone they know, and then piercing them with the knife to create a Daemonia. However, his ice-blue eyes are always present in every one of his forms, although he can conceal it for a short period (around a few minutes) when he first transforms, and then it takes about half an hour before he can conceal that again, as his eye color is from the Daemonia, rather than his own DNA, but as they are intricately intertwined, he can manage to conceal it for short periods at a time. He typically uses a concealed appearance for about 30 minutes at a time, which is usually just for sealing a contract. However, he does not depend on this for his contracts, as his eyes can usually seal it if the victim doesn't go with it by themselves altogether.

Deceitrickery

Like the belief that some people can have a malevolent look that can cause misfortune or injury, this is similar in his own eyes. His words also carry this as well, and in combination, this can easily lead to a successful contract. When he speaks, his words carry a hypnotic tone, and can dull the senses of the mind, weakening the target's will. His eyes are most powerful however, but this requires revealing his ice-blue eyes, but at most times, at this point, the victim's fate is already sealed. His eyes create a suffocating feeling for the other person, which grinds out most people's remaining will. However, if the contact is broken, then it disappears, although it will still leave a "seed" of sorts, that will make it easier for Cerebrum to do it successfully and quicker the next time around.

Augmentation

As an elite Daemonia, he feeds upon despair, and gains strength from it. Thus, in places concentrated with negative emotions, especially despair, his power level rises, and he has heightened senses. However, the inverse is possible as well, and in places with an abundance of positive emotions, it will feel greatly unpleasant, or even painful. Also, his very "life" is connected to the darkness in the world, so as long as hatred, despair, or other negative feelings exist, Cerebrum will continue to exist. It is possible to completely eradicate or otherwise destroy his physical form, and although it will take an immensely long amount of time, given time, he will slowly rise again. In addition, as well as the despair, the souls that he collect via the Calamitous Contract and the people his Daemonia kill fuel his strength, as well as constantly create more despair as he uses it, feeding him like a reusable stock.

Manifestation

If Cerebrum gets desperate enough, he can release his holds on his form as a more constrained shape, and transform into his monstrous true Daemonia form. In this form, he releases all boundaries on his strength, and is much more powerful. From his mouth and his hands, he can fire off beams of despair, which can destroy most things. His durability is immense, and he can tank a good deal of blows in this form. He is sort of sluggish, given his massive size, but he is still surprisingly quick for something of that size. A single punch has enough raw strength to collapse several skyscrapers within a mile or so from where he punched, from the shockwave itself. The crystalline appearances are the burning energies of negativity, and contact with them can be deadly. In this form however, he reveals his weakness as the large red orb mounted on his chest, but in most cases, Cerebrum will manage to destroy anyone before they can even get close for a good amount of time, until he starts to get tired and sluggish. Just piercing it won't work however. An ocean of despair and souls protects the Diabolos Tarot card inside which he is the manifestation of, and contact with the inside can be lethal. A secondary sphere of energy resides in the center, inside which is the card, which must be impaled to destroy Cerebrum. Upon piercing it however, it will result in the destruction of Cerebrum, setting off massive shockwaves as his form begins to disintegrate, as the despair and souls vaporize, letting out energy. The true Daemonia form will begin to rapidly collapse, and with a final, devastating explosion reminiscent of a star's death, it will explode, the fragments evaporating.

[spoiler=Special Attacks]Cerebrum does not really focus on physical combat, but he is skilled at using his sword, and can move through the air with flips and various acrobatic maneuvers. In addition, the ability to levitate can give him edges in positioning in battles. In most cases, he will avoid combat however.

[spoiler=Summarization of Strengths and Weaknesses]Strengths

• Knowledge

• Gains strength from negative emotions

• Can move between "hotspots" of negative emotions

• Strong ability of persuasion and deceit

• Can manipulate appearance completely as needed

• Can create Daemonia

• Can transform into a stronger "true form"

• "Immortal" in a way

• Manipulates things from behind the scenes

• In his non-"true form", his "core" isn't visible, and is safely hidden away, which makes it harder to destroy him

• Has a variety of tools

• Can instigate negative feelings in people

• Is careful and plans things out in most cases, as well as accepting loss rather than complete defeat at times

• Isn't too shabby in physical fighting/sword fighting, but he isn't above just plain "skilled"

• Gains power from each soul he collects from arranging a contract, and from the souls of the people the Daemonia kill

Weaknesses

• Is not too proficient in physical fighting, unarmed combat is weak, unless he manipulates his DNA to gain advantage, and even then, is not proficient in it

• Positive emotions/holy attacks are effective against him

• Cannot target groups in most cases

• His "sin" is Pride/Arrogance, but it is not a high amount

• Not durable in his "shell" that he takes form in

• "True form" reveals his weakness as a core

Other Information

• Cerebrum's favorite "food" is souls.

• Seiyuu: Takashi Kondou

That was . . . .too general for my tastes. I was really looking forward to this app but it came out disappointing.  :/

You know, I HAD been in the middle of creating my post. >:I

Anyway, Chris, I hope you're going to be on for a while longer, because I'm hoping for a conversation between Blaze and Kratos, although Blaze is going to be pissed at first, but he'll calm down.

And Merc, are you even on Skype right now? I sent a contact request TWICE! Why aren't you answering?

Oh no, I'd never make a megapost so early. Here's how the system works.

1st post: Leaders call for their respective teams to gather.

2nd post: Leaders explain the various information about the next world, what's going to happen, what to expect, provides the key item/spell they'll need in there, and then opens the portal.

3rd post: Beginning of the next world

Usually, the second post is the one that's the 'megapost', and in the OOC thread, I'll post the next world map. In this case, it's a spherical forest, so expect the map to be in an oval shape.

And Merc, are you even on Skype right now? I sent a contact request TWICE! Why aren't you answering?

I haven't received anything :I

But I'll check later. Right now, I have to go and watch CATCHING FIRE. Because I've missed out on a lot of good movies in the theater lately due to exams.

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, me not sure. He seems pretty close to boss tier in my opinion, but if I accept him, he may offer some more conflict into the plot... Alright, since I'm not sure, I'll just accept him for now and see how you perform with him. If you go overboard, I'll step in like I almost did with the Divine Hell.

Also, we have a new theme for Arc 3, so despair won't be the centerpoint this time (sorry, Xansvita xD). So try not to go overboard with despair. After playing LERNA, I think I've had enough of that. It gets tiring when you repeat the same thing over and over.

The hell did you do with Predaking.

First, ensured him that Arthuria was not a king.

And second, forced him to listen to that boring monologue about what's going on without him able to charge around, destroy anything, or escape anywhere. I hope he actually listened ^_^; Otherwise, he'd just be a burden to the Corps.

I'm refering to the part where you said he seemed to vanish into thin air. He's not with the rest of the group right now, so where is he?

Oh, maybe I wasn't clear enough. He just vanished into thin air, and once the monologue-thing in the second layer (think Inception) is done, he'll be returned to his original position (assuming he accepted to join the Corps). Same with Kratos, Clerano, Otto, and all the others in Camelot who have no idea what's going on. That's all.

Then why did you mention Predaking specifically?

Huh? Isn't it obvious? Because Arthuria was with Predaking at the time? Read the post: Arthuria walks towards the group -> Arthuria corrects both MachGaogamon and Predaking -> then Arthuria drags all newcomers into the whitey-realm-thing and explains stuff, Predaking included. Thought it was clear enough, but if not, then sorry.

Good, because Otto was holding someone that I am pretty sure was not teleported.

Don't worry, I have plans for Xansvita. As much as he wants to continue LERNA's work, the theme of "despair" isn't what I'm focusing on.

Think I'll wait until Arthur gets a response from Nero before I make my post.
