Uh Arm they are considered canon since it rectifies the discrepancies between the end of Season 3 and the beginning of Season 4. But as I live between the buttocks of the world, I watched the cellphone cam one. I will watch it again once the DVD is available. I'm going to just watch it once someone has a better version online; though that's not to say I haven't already watched the cellphone cam one. So we've had Centaurs, Minotaurs, Pheonixs, Cerberus, Chimeras, Dragons, Hydras, and now sirens within the MLP Canon Universe. Me thinks they lean heavily on Greek Mythology. And, if that's so, then I think I might have stumbled upon how ponies are living such long lives. How? In Greek Mythology there are "the golden apples of immortality" which are guarded by a dragon. Whose to say that the apples' offspring aren't the same apples that are grown in Equestria? Not immortal granting apples mind you, but ones that prolong your life if you eat enough of them.
