-Noel-
Cannot be Special Summoned. Requires 3 "Qli" monsters to Normal Summon/Set. If this card is Normal Summoned/Set, it is unaffected by Spell/Trap effects and by activated effects from any monster whose original Level/Rank is lower than this card's current Level. Once per turn: Target 1 monster on your opponent side field; control it until the End Phase. And welcome, Apoqliphort Big Eye!

Greiga
I don't remember Towers off the top of my head but I'm pretty sure this beats Towers. Oh wait this is 9. Ok so it doesn't literally beat Towers but in deckbuilding yeah.

Maeriberii Haan
Just when I thought I couldn't possibly like these things less. Three tributes doesn't mean a thing in a Qliphag deck, and there's not even a cost to use this thing's effect. Even Scout required you to pay 800 Life Points, and that's just to get one of your own cards. This thing sucks up every other broken meta boss monster...for free. Where's the Konami main office again? Obviously somebody needs to knock some sense back into Takahashi and go "OI! Do you not realize what you're doing!?" Goddamn borderline-AV meta OTK-supporting garbage ...still hate this thing with a burning passion. it's not really Takahashi anymore that's in charge of these things. Darj
So did they simplify the text of "take control" effect? take control of it --> control it Although now that I read the rest of the card text, it is most likely an incomplete translation since it also says "opponent side field". The structure/building at the center of this thing... it is just me or it looks like it is designed after the "Infernoids"? They were sealed inside Qliphorts after all, and it could very well be 1 of their prisons.

~Faytl~
............. Are you fucking kidding me? Sigh. Konami. Pls. STOP. Jesus, this archetype is gonna need a damn big ban hammer now, it's SO overpowered.
Spinny
Hmmm since qliphoths are a massive Cooperate company in the TCG.... I predict its name will probably be "Apoqliphoth Headquarters" Any other suggestions?
newhat
This card, like Towers/Killer, barely matters compared to the Pendulums, and is not a significant power boost to Qliphorts as they are.

newhat
Except that Towers/Killer already pretty much wins you the match Tribute Summoning Qliphort Disk wins you the game. Immediately. Or after a short delay if you use Stormforth.
werewolfjedi
Tribute Summoning Qliphort Disk wins you the game. Immediately. Or after a short delay if you use Stormforth. I"ve never had disk win a game against me, all it does it summon more fodder in just about every game I've seen. and if I"m playing a deck that can handle swarming, that's never an issue. so how does it win immediately now? I would like to know so I can have people play the deck properly. it has always taken more to deal with the decks I usually play for them. generally killer does the job. Ultravires
I wasn't aware that Killer is a Match-Winner now. Also anyone who thinks that summoning Killer is better than summoning Disk is likely awful at this game.
Blake
The only Qliphort that's even close to Disk is Alias. And that's because Alias creates a chain of removal that can't be responded to, while having versatility to bounce your Scout for another search. It's not as objectively strong as Disk, but it's stronger in niche scenarios and decent in others.

Slinky
then explain how. cause that's something that each of you claim, but never explain. Because it should be fairly obvious. Disk, summon Carrier/Helix Flip Skill Drain, activate Carrier/Alias/w.e, you don't need the second part if you summon your other Disks/Alias/Access instead 3100+2700+2700 > 8000 or 2800+2800+2800 > 8000

newhat
oh okay, so it's just the skill drain play. alright. alternatively you can bring out two copies of the new 24/10 Qliphort, which is a OTK even without Skill Drain or Pendulum Summon for the OTK
