Double Bite marks an opponent's monster when they get summoned, and blows them up if they fight this.

Although given its stats, I don't foresee it to last long enough to really use it; even with a Castle boost if that's still used.

Triple has a unique Fusion requirement; either you make this with 3 Hound-Dogs or make the Fusion for Double first and use another regular Dog.

Probably might see cards like that in the future.

Making 3 attacks per turn is nice; especially if you can get rid of the opponent's backrow + other monsters.

(Then again, making these is more/less easy for OF since they're in triples and use the same Deck)

well Ancient Gear Double Bite Hound Dog is interesting, but is only really usful if you able to summon it when your opponent has no monster..

Ancient Gear Triple Bite Hound Dog's effect is ok, but because of its low atk..is not really usful..

And both of these cards fusion material sucks..hope they get buff when they are release

If they both had a bit more ATK, then maybe they'd be worth using.

In Triple's case, 1800 ATK for a 3-mat thing isn't really worth making; as opposed to other options; especially since it's still food for the usual threats and other monsters that can kill it in battle.

Then again, they supposedly have their own Fusion card or something else that made its début today; assuming British or another member's posting it later when data's available.

---

They'll most likely get a buff or something; maybe they'll get their materials changed to just Ancient Gear monsters, but probably not since flavor gets screwed a bit.

Ancient Gear Double Bite Hound Dog effect has been updated

If this card attacks, your opponent cannot activate Spell/Trap Cards until the end of the Damage Step. Once per turn, during either player's turn, if a monster(s) is Normal or Special Summoned to your opponent's side of the field: You can place 1 Gear Counter on that monster(s) (max. 1). At the start of the Damage Step, if a monster with a Gear Counter battles: You can destroy that monster.

So yeah, thats make Double Bite's effect a bit better

Don't the Hound Dogs also have an effect to fuse themselves? Yeah...the Obelisk Force aren't skilled Duelists. They just have a really cheap and effective strategy when there's multiples of them, because they all use the same cards. Hound Dogs burn each turn, and can fuse themselves with others.

They're the grunts, so the playstyle fits IMO.  Sora and Yuri are higher up in the chain of command, so they have unique, better individual decks.

It makes sense that a monster formed by X and Y would still qualify to be either. I wonder how much Fusions would break if that was a thing (specific requirement Fusions only, of course).

It is interesting to say the least.
