GarlandChaos
Premise of this thread is simple. Every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday, I'll post a YGO monster card, and you lot have to give it a role as an RPG character. First up to bat is: Swordstalker. Give him a role, people. AGATHODAIMON BANGTAIL COW
Also, fights using an unrealistically high number of swords at the same time. Puts anime characters who do the same to shame.
LordCowCowCowCowCowCowCowCow
He's the dude who seems like a villain/rival at first but is actually a vigilante type that is trying to bring down the bad guys from the inside.
Woloa
He is clearly the optional superboss, you get the infinity +1 sword from him.
Trebuchet MS
Or he's the mean-looking midboss of the first dungeon that sets the tone and difficulty for the rest of the game.

Tentacruel
Comes off as either a mini-boss or just a regular ass dungeon boss. Maybe a pre-boss before a hugemonsterwtf boss.
宇佐見 蓮子@C94
Stage 2 Boss that becomes a midboss at the next stage, and later common mook near the last stages.
Maeriberii Haan
A slightly stronger than usual midgame random encounter, but not that hard compared to the actual hard encounters.
GarlandChaos
Since it's technically Saturday where I live now, I can provide a new monster to give a role to. This time, it's: Golgoil. Get to it, folks,
AGATHODAIMON BANGTAIL COW
A lame robot like how it is in Yugioh. Er, the other definition of lame. Wait, according to Iron Call, Golgoil can walk, or at least stand upright. So much for lame robot. Well, its lore says it appears from a giant dimensional rift, so it could be a Giant Space Flea from Nowhere. You're just walking around, and bam! Golgoil. Maeriberii Haan
Yet another mook. Will be almost impervious to normal physical assault, but one casting of Thundara and it'll die like a jabroni.
King K. Azo
It's like thee golems in Dragon Quest. High attack and defense, but low speed. Gives lots of experience or money. And three of them can fuse into a mega Golem!
The Amazing Avian
Part of a mini boss squad with some other big machine type vanillas. Their defeat heralds the arrival of Superdimensional Robot Galaxy Destroyer.
The Nyx Avatar
One of the hardest-to-beat enemy NPCs, as they have high HP and attack power, and the items you'd get from beating them are no different from other NPCs, such as generic potions and a bit of currency; losing (or even running into it for the millionth time) to this character will cause you to break your controller. Tinkerer
Robo mook that appears to have an unnaturally high encounter rate, annoyingly high HP/defense stats and an ability to keep you from escaping (thus forcing you to fight it). Gains Zubat notoriety as soon as game hits.

Tojin
A slow, weak mook who would be just another minion to slaughter if it couldn't burrow into the ground, which makes it invulnerable while underground. It also has a tendency to pop up, attack for barely any damage, then disappear into the ground again. Occasionally a room filled with far too many of them is used as a booby trap or defense mechanism.
