Lizardonx
BOSH-JP07?Sajin no Barrier – Dust Force – / Sandstorm Mirror ForceTrap(1): When an opponent’s monster declares an attack: Change as many Attack Position monsters your opponent controls as possible to face-down Defense Position, and if you do, the ones changed by this effect cannot change their battle positions. Airride
combo with granmargcombo with dark mirror forceBad, except in like, ghostricks, I guess? Turning face-down is almost strictly worse than Destroying or spinning or destroying + burning.
GarlandChaos
Nice! A new Mirror Force counterpart, and an actually not half bad one. It can actually stop Majespecters for a bit, too, since the tribute has to be face-up for it to count, iirc.

Turning face-down is almost strictly worse than Destroying or spinning or destroying + burning. You do realize they're PERMANENTLY stuck face-down, right? Unless a card effect is used to change that? It pretty much locks them on the field, and renders those zones useless.
Toffee.
This is actually pretty cute, for what its getting at. I mean, assuming you don't run any monsters you would realistically Tribute Summon, you now have monsters that are taking up space on your side of the field and doing abslutely nothing. I'd rather just get rid of them rather than have them sit there.

The only deck I would personally main deck this is Ghostricks
Synchronized
It's definitely not bad--I'd say it's better than the Fire one, to be honest. Not sure what practical use it will have, but having your monsters stuck face-down is definitely not something a Deck like Qli or BA are going to like very much. Maeriberii Haan
Storming's meh atm, and FIRE Mirror Force is a bit too risky. Vanilla mirror's still the best, but this has its merits of semi-answering anything. Non-targetting nondestroying semiremoval that's permanent is pretty sweet even if you don't actually deal with the problem immediately. Definitely has its niche. Tinkerer
So... What's the WATER one gonna be? Also, does anyone think that they might make elemental versions of Raigeki (considering the beams on these elemental MF cards)? Also, isn't this the only one that answers Pendulums somewhat effectively? This card produced more questions then it answered.
Love of Ghibli
This reads a lot like the lock mechanic in vanguard. Sounds fun though.
ihop
This seems to me like the best of the new mirror forces, if only in specific decks. Locking them face-down has all kinds of advantages, in particular for cards that gain advantage from your opponent controlling monsters, or even better cards that trigger on destroying something by battle. It's still not really as good as regular Mirror Force, but it's certainly viable.
~British Soul~
This reads a lot like the lock mechanic in vanguard. I agree. It's not bad, and it definitely has nice uses, for example (like a lot of people mentioned) in Ghostricks. I'll most likely wait to see what the resident Ghostrick player at my locals thinks of this. Armoire
So... What's the WATER one gonna be?WATER one might involve discarding, since that is the attribute's trait... or whatever. But the EARTH variant is a lot stronger than I thought; arguably better than WIND.
BlackBeartic
Idk why people are thinking Dust Force is so bad. Catch someone with 3 or more monsters and their field is pretty screwed. Granted vanilla mirror in my opinion is still the best one but regardless this one is pretty nice. Best niche is in ghostpricks as said above. Toffee.
Idk why people are thinking Dust Force is so bad. It's not bad by any means, it just doesn't remove things from the field right away. It's a more passive-aggressive version of Mirror Force, in the sense that you are merely forcing the monsters in question into a rather unusable state, instead of doing something practical like destroying/returning them, or something crazy like dealing with burn damage. SANDAA BORUTO
So here's our EARTH Mirror Force. One card that springs to mind is Nobleman of Crossout, which can destroy AND banish the monster after it's been locked in face-down position. It's situational, but it can be useful.
