Unwavering Bonds (908)

Recommended Posts

You know, the only pendulum monster of the ones in the story is OG risebell. So the thing that stops hypnosister...can only stop the one she corrupted. Flavorwise, should have stopped the destruction of a pendulum in your pendulum or monster zone. (counter wavering and Hypnosisters effect)

...but that would be pretty powerful, honestly.

To be perfectly honest, while this has some really nice applications, it isn't broken at all. It is a 1 for 1 answer to a mechanic that will consistently pull plusses. Yes, it can interrupt a Monkeyboard or Pendulum Wizard, but in the long run, the deck is far from killed by it.

It will see play, but really doesn't cripple the mechanic at all.

True, as long as pendulums remain a plussing mechanic, this card is generally just ok as a whole.

However, in terms of specifics, I feel this card will be a lot more practical because of a little thing called the banlist. Without the banlist limiting the numbers of the heavy consistency cards, this card wouldn't be able to stem the flow of the plusses.

On the other hand though... If you're facing a pendulum deck, you'd need to get this card first turn as well as go first to even be effective, so even then it might not be used outside pendulum mirrors or until the mechanic slows down as a whole...

My final opinion? Eh, it's a'ight.

anti NTR card is a go

truly a good onii-chan, being loyal to his imouto over the temptation of a random loli

Saambell is Risebell's sister; and isn't Hypnosister essentially a corrupted Saambell, too?

Anywho: It was only a matter of time before a Counter Trap Card like this would be made. But that last line is truly what solidifies it.

Good!Risebell has Hypnosister in the background.

Also, aside from Monkeyboard, it is important to remember that the vast majority of things this hits can be recovered by Amaterasu, with Luster opening up Ignister plays, and Wizard kinda just doing his thing. Not to say this makes it necessarily bad, but even with Wizard limited, this doesn't kill the deck.
