No they've been throwing out no ED effects a lot...clearly you haven't played in Goat cause tbqh, the ED is a cancer

The extra deck is not a cancer and it's pretty much essential to every deck bar Monarchs, referencing back to some long gone format isn't a good point for what exists today. This skips half your turn which is about as much "No Yu-Gi-Oh for you" as it gets anyway.

At the time of writing, the actual Ritual Spell hasn't been shown.

It'll be added when Organization reveals it (which I suspect will be soon).

1) Yes I know, that was pretty blatant sarcasm about how people are blowing up over a card which is incomplete.

2) Org won't reveal it, some random OCG guy (probably Maxut) will drop it soon enough.

So... remember when I said i'm close to quitting Yugioh and I just need one more push to do so?

I think this is it. Because this is absolute cancer.

SKIPS MP1? WHY IT'S ALREADY BAD ENOUGH AMORPHAGE ARE "YOU CAN'T PLAY" SO NOW THEY'RE "YOU DON'T GET A TURN TOO?"

Seriously funk konami and funk amorphaids.

it's not even an amorphage

like, Majester, Ignister, Dinoster

This is Amorphactor (LOVE FACTOR WTF), it's not an Amorphage, and there's no guarantee it fits in the deck, barring flavor.

Yeah guys, these reactions are totally rational because the ritual spell is just so OP! Anyone want to link it to me?

^^^^^^^^^^

the card is sheet if:

A. It is not named by its ritual spell

B. The secondary effect isn't good enough (especially not good enough to warrant A)

C. some combo

Extra deck isn't cancer? Oh I'm sorry, I've been horse funked by Noden, rank'ed up by Ptolo, and shock locked one too many times to agree with that claim.

Konami is correctly reverting the game to a point where you don't have a convenient set of 15 cards that can out any situation. Ya'll being dumb as funk about this. This is one of the best things that's happened to the game since they made Ophion

It doesn't matter how good the actual ritual spell ends up being because you can search both this and it in the one go anyway so it's hardly going to hurt the playability. And anyway with the way these are going the probability the ritual is less than good is minimal.

Did you read what black said? If it's not named in the ritual spell, you CAN'T get them both from pre-prep, hence Gravity and Advent smh

It's a Dracoverlord infused with Amorphage power. I think it's pretty fair I blame that deck for causing this to rise.

So instead of having 15 cards to combat your opponent's plays you now have to topdeck Raigeki or lose, how is that a better scenario. Certain ED cards being problems doesn't mean the whole thing deserves to be fucked.

well i mean, let's look at it like this

Vector infected all of them and turned them into Amorphage.

Vecotr had a floodgate effect.

He then leveled up (Lector) and merged with one of his Amorphage, both of which are floodgatey

so no

Well 1st of all TCG unbanning Raigeki is easily on of their biggest mistakes, but no. You have these things called Traps? And Main Deck Monsters? Or Spells? Use them. This card isn't even broken. It's what unicore should have been. More dedication, more stun, and doesn't -2 if it gets killed, but not backed by a sheet load of searching to turbo the deck

Honestly, people hating control shows how terrible the playerbase of this game has gotten

At worst I see this being annoying. It lacks any kind of immunity, but creates some obstacles to work around, so it could also be fun to play against as a challenge. Granted, Amorphages are garbage so depending on how generic the ritual spell is will determine how much play this actually sees.

Anyways, if your deck doesn't have any kind of out in the maindeck to this kind of monster, either in beatsticks, disruptions, or effect negations; then I think the fault is less on this card and more on subpar deck building. This card is hardly a Towers or a Vanity's and I'm seeing just about as much salt in this thread. Like wow.

Regardless if he did it for lore reasons or not.

sheet like this card, shouldn't exist. You can find a much less stupid alternative of sticking to the Amorphage slaves way of doing things. But damn near skipping your opponent's turn? Lmao what a funking joke.

Pray tell how? If we're going to mention that new Prep card, then you're jumping the gun by a substantial amount imo.

Imo since this card has its previous form as a card aswell I think it should be named in the ritual spell, ofc I could be wrong and the deck can be utter trash but when it looks this pushed I doubt they would suddenly make this mediocre, since this card literally just gives me the impression its just made to increase pre prep and amor sales. Giving pre prep a potential meta deck will give it make it alot more sellable etc but yeah, just my thoughts.

I'm going to just elaborate on why this card is a good idea because honestly I really do like this card for what it's attempting to bring to the table.

If any of you have played any of this format with good decks at all, a lot of you will realize how fast a deck like PePe/Pedra is. It's ability to filter through their cards and then Pendulum Summon a large amount of monsters to go for pretty easy kill turns makes them deadly and efficient at the same time. A lot of archetypes have been trying to go into the same vein of them (Igknight, the bad Dino ones just off the top of my head) and honestly it's incredibly repetitive. The last time we actually got a card like this that promotes a slower and more control based gamestate was Majespecters, which ultimately flopped harder than people expected.

This is why this card is as powerful as it is. The kill decks are getting too fast and because of this control-y decktypes have a hard time keeping up. This is the kind of cards that prevents your opponent from going too fast and instead brings the game down to your speed, something that a slower deck like Amorphage pretty much NEEDS. And honestly a lot of the things that they push out gets stale, so something like this needs to exist for the sake of variety. Seriously, you get a million and one different archetypes focusing on doing a bunch of damage in one turn or making huge bosses and the moment we get ONE good control card everyone flips their sheet.

Also the funny part is, if any of you guys could actually relate to what I said in this post you'd probably be complaining a lot more about Lector than this because that card is going to be a funking killer.
