I had a feeling this card would be released, but i was really hoping it would be buffed with a Summoner Monk battle position effect or even add a Zushin Counter per turn... Althemia
I was really holding out for this to be Zushin support as well, since it made sense.. Ah well, into the trash.
Blake
And here I was hoping it would give targeting protection to all other DEF monsters and give all DEF monsters effect destruction immunity. One or both.
Hello my name is Enguin
It's not terrible but it really should've been targeting protection too.
Dokutah
unless i'm wrong, i recall in the Org discussion mentioning that there should be a few empty space left.... buffed Scrum Force maybe?
~British Soul~
Other than the fact you can control multiple copies now, bit disappointed they left the rest of the effects as-is as targeting protection would've been nice. Though I'm not surprised we're getting this considering Zushin is a thing.
Ryusei the Morning Star
Not surprised, outside if like 10 cards, the collector packs have been just that, nostalgic Collector packs, not really top tier sheet

Toffee.
In an era in which, basically, all the obscure 'anime to IRL' cards tend to get some kind of considerable buff.... This, being mostly untouched, is a bit of a let down.
Draconus297
Too bad Superheavies can't turn other monsters into Superheavies, otherwise the "All Superheavies can attack in Defense Position" clause one of the Synchros has could make this thing into a monster worth respecting. Tinkerer
It's kinda funny you mention Summoner Monk. That'd probably be the most effective way of getting this into play with a substantial DEF. 3200 isn't anything to sneeze at, though it's still outed very easily. BTW, When was this used in the show? ~British Soul~
@Tythe: When 5Ds faced Team Taiyou, it was used to protect Key Mace so they can get out Zushin.

BTW, When was this used in the show?It was used in 5D's during the Grand Prix tournament used by team Taiyo. EDIT: ninja'd OT: Iam glad that we can summon more than one of this to protect the normal monster in battle but yeah, we need a reliable targeting protection to support the level 1 normal monster to last longer. evilfusion
Ugh...why is this so terrible? And why was Zushin given such a terrible RL Summoning Condition, too? This card could be funny with things like Unity or Shield and Sword, but it feels really disappointing as it is right now. I know the cards used by Team Taiyou were supposed to be borderline trash cards, even for that "era" of Yu-Gi-Oh, but now those cards REALLY aren't aging well if they're being released. And 5Ds had an advantage to the RL game - It was still legal in the anime to NS in face-up DEF (Zexal is when that changed in the anime).
Azuh
I guess setting the card is somewhat a bluff that can be used. Having 1600 DEF is pretty high and it does add other monsters DEF
♪ ♪Aria ♪ ♪
Can this be comboed with "Labyrinth Wall" for 4600 DEF?It's first effect is quite risky since 1000 ATK means taking quite a lot of damage........
Sleepy
Its colors make me think of Scootaloo from MLP.... *cough*Basically, useless. It needed to switch itself into Defense Position somehow, effect targeting protection, effect destruction protection, and possibly a Summoner Monk-like effect for Level 1 vanillas for the sake of flavor...... plus Tuner status. Not asking for direct Zushin support, but you shouldn't be jumping through hoops with position changing effects for your intended combo at this day and age.If you swarmed enough with this card + Inverse Universe, would it retain the boosted DEF converted into ATK?
