Level 10 LIGHT Dragon

0/0

When a face-up "Blue-Eyes" monster you control is destroyed by battle or an opponent's card effect: You can Special Summon this card from your hand, and if you do, inflict 600 damage to your opponent for each Dragon-Type monster in your Graveyard with a different name. If this card is Normal or Special Summoned: Target 1 Dragon-Type monster in your Graveyard; this card's ATK becomes equal to that monster's ATK. If this card on the field is destroyed by a card effect: Destroy all monsters your opponent controls.

What the f-?

Okay. Firstly, the name "Deep-Eyes" is lulzy for how random it sounds.

It can be SSed when a Blue-Eyes monster is killed. This could include White Dragon or the Fusions. It randomly burns for 600 per differently named Dragon in the Graveyard, which is actually pretty damn dangerous late game, and is at least 600 right off the bat.

Also, it copies the stats of a Dragon in your Graveyard when Summoned, so mid-to-late game this can be pure evil by copying Neo Ultimate Dragon or something. A 4500 body out of nowhere plus the burn...evil.

And if it dies, you kill all your opponent's monsters. Nice.

Ok..

I think it's fair if I actually say konami is funking out of their mind for this one. I say this a lot, but this time I've actually thought of my opinion for this.

Why can it do so much for just a BE getting destroyed? You think Crystal Wing is bad enough but now you gotta worry about a possible 4.5k walking raigeki + ultimate cowboy dropping.

If only BAs got support like this lmao.

Calm down guys.  It's literally not even that fantastic.  Dangerous, yes.  But not worth losing your sheet over.  Chaos MAX is more threatening than this.  Remember:

CasteltheSkyblasterMusketeer-CT12-EN-SR-

Deals with it.  It can't be searched very readily because it's not a Blue-Eyes.  No protection whatsoever.  Lets count the different named dragons in Blue-Eyes: OG Blue eyes/Alt dragon (share the same name in grave), Blue-eyes Spirit Dragon, both fusions, stones, synchros, and the Felgrand stuff.  That's, what, 8-10 tops?  of course that's not taking into account the other random techs you have also brought out at some point (Dark Matter, Synchro dragons, etc), but the maximum burn this thing is going to do is somewhere around 4800-6000.  That's super duper extra late game though, and by that point you've pretty much run out of all other options.

In reality, you will more than likely be dealing with this somewhere before that point.  The burn will be more like 1800-2400, and it will have 3000 attack at most.  Yes it raigekis you, but only if you destroy it.  You can tribute it, return it to hand, shuffle into deck, banish, etc.  all with no consequence.

so... amazing burn, insane ATK possibilities, free destruction every time you or your opponent manages to kill it, and no sem/nomi effect? well then. let's all say hello to or new blue eyed overlord. it's insanely good for the sheer ease of summoning.

So... Hieratic Atum now has an easily grabbable Raigeki that doesn't stay at 0/0 stats.

...is this the Shining retrain? Level 10, has an effect that depends on dragons in-grave, has ATK boosting, and has a destruction effect (a la movie version of Shining).

Oh, and lets not forget that the summon itself is when timing.

If you think they may have it you can destroy their stuff in a way that stops this from dropping.  For example: Nuke their Blue-Eyes card with:

ShiranuiStyleSwallowsSlash-BOSH-EN-C-1E.

And it will miss it's timing to drop.  Speaking of which, this thing also must drop on the opponent's turn unless you are somehow able to crash a blue-eyes.  Therefore it can have all the freakin attack it wants.  Doesn't matter as you immediately have a chance to deal with it as you continue your turn.

Hell even UTL makes this thing a complete joke except for the burn.  In fact I would say the Burn is the most relevant part.

It pains me to say it, but Utopia the Lightning and Castel but round out this card. Also it is only if it is destroyed by a card effect actually. Not by battle. By card effect. Also as Black said, not searchable under the Blue Eyes name, so kind hurts on that end. It's definitely good, just I feel the reaction is kindaaaaaaaaaa a bit much rn. Not as bad as Amorphactor, but a tad over the top

Outside of Utopia, a 3k monster is not getting killed in battle realistically

There are ways to do it tho in quite a few Ranks:

Rank 2 has Sky Cavalry

Rank 3 has Muzurhythm (Albeit it crashes)

Rank 4 has a plethora of things

Rank 5 has Leo Arms (Albeit it crashes)

Rank 6 has Beyond

Rank 7 will just Big Eye

Rank 8 has Full Armor and Number 62

The Synchro pool I will give you credit outside of Moonlight it is a b****, but point is overall isn't the worst thing in the world. Just will be something to factor in
