Now then let us see how Houkais are faring ... as usual great spell/trap support ... still dependant on vijam to absurd heights without real ways to set him up ... and those crap summon conditions on their fusion monster ... I really want to like them, however it becomes more and more difficult.

They pulled a Phoenix Mode Ra with that fusion lmao.

 

Terrible summoning conditions but basically wins if it summons (although Ra isn't that powerful to instant win).

 

Card's not going to be played for the same reason phoenix ra isn't... terrible ass summoning conditions.

Well it is a living win-con, however the summon conditions are utterly crap ... like what the actual heck, at least make it that one specific + 3 houkai ...

There's no doubt that it's a living win-con, but yeah, the turn-off here is that the summoning conditions are crap, especially since the monster it requires is a nomi.

Theirs a lot of interesting stuff in here like Unearthing Destiny which gives you hand advantage when your opponent destroys a monster and if your opponent destroys it still gives you hand advantage. In addition Counter Gate a cool trap for negating and drawing a card where if it a monster you get to throw it out their instantly.

f***ing hell.... The Houkai "Cubic" cards are incredibly weird/strange.

I kinda' want to play the Deck, because of it.

 

I agree, the playstyle looks very fun. Although it looks difficult to pull off the deck's combos due to the reliance on setting up Vijam and how battle focused most of the effects are, everyhting about them appeals to me. Seeing them get an epic Fusion boss is brilliant!

So Gandhial and Karma are quite impressive ... not to mention mandala, the hard fact still remains that drawing these would be quite a pain and getting karma is too important for the deck to be reliant on luck and most searchers (watchdog, left arm offering) are too damn expenssive to be worth it.

The saving grace of  Crimson Nova is that it does work with their spells and traps, as well as the monsters, so he can add early game pressure.

To sum everything up that the new revealed cards do ... open duja or cry ... open karma or cry ... only main 3 vijam, 3 duja, 1 copy of that level 4 which can attack 3 times (perhaps that level 10) and use that fusion trap's second effect with karma's mill to skip all 5 other maindevk houkais ... not what I imagined them to come down to.
