“You can’t hide from me forever…girl…” spoke a gruff voice amidst darkness.

“Who’s there?” demanded a female voice.

“You banished me way from that card just to save who…your lover…” replied the voice, “can’t you recognise me? Your Grand Master once banished me inside that infernal card…and just when I was able to use my own prison against me, you had o spoil my fun & send me away…but beware...”

Soon, a large dark blue hulking form appeared & snarled at the other person there.

“Beware…for Hamatsujin is back…and with a vengeance too…” said the gruff voice as the world blacked out.

Suddenly, Venus saw her own reflection on the mirror facing her as she was on the bed. Suddenly, the reflection of her face was melting away into a chaotic mixture of colours until it became a weird dark blue creature. It was large & apparently muscular with spikes piercing out of its muscles. Its head was like a dragon’s head, but had more pronounced animalistic features like sharp fangs.

“Rule No. 1 of demon exorcism, as long as the demon is not destroyed in a fair competition via direct attacks, they will still remain in the mortal world as something…” said the demonic reflection evilly.

Suddenly, a dark blue claw reached out from the mirror to grab Venus & dragged her all the way to the mirror…

“Ahhhhh!!!!!” yelled Marco as he rolled himself out of the bed.

Within a few moments, the rest of his family entered in his room to see the commotion going on & found Marco on the floor.

“What happened, honey?” asked Mrs. De’Lai.

“I…I…saw it…” said Marco, “Venus is missing!”

“Now let me see,” said Damataeus as he went inside to open up a curtain, “no wonder! It is not even dawn or dusk, why would anyone see Venus at this time?”

“No! My friend who’s called Venus is missing! Must I do everything myself!” snapped Marco as he picked up a phone next o his bed, “Police, there is a missing person’s report…”

Minutes later, at the Moltra Motel in Caesar Street, several police cars were parked there. A team of 4 officers went inside the motel. Inside the motel lobby, there was no one other than the manager who was sleeping at the counter with drool spilling out of his mouth. 1 of the officers then pounded on the counter’s bell to wake him up.

“Huh…oh welcome to the Moltra Motel & I am Mark Moltra…” introduced Mark as he soon recognised his awakeners’ uniforms, “…oh wait…you are the cops! I swear that if you are here for the lost kitchenware, I have nothing to do with it!”

“Mr. Moltra, we are not here for that,” said an officer, “we are here because we have received a call from a Mr. Marco De’Lai that 1 of your guests, a Ms Venus Lucia, is currently missing. Thus, we are here to conduct a small check & hope that yu will quietly cooperate with us.”

“I’m just a simple law-abiding citizen here, so I see no trouble in doing this,” said Mark as he pulled a key out of his pocket, “now if you all follow me to her room.”

They walked along the hallway until they reached the furthermost room of the building. Once there, Mark quickly knocked on the door. However, there was no reply. Afterwards, Mark took out his key & unlocked the locked door for the officers to go in. To their surprise, no one was there at all with no huge signs of struggle other than a shredded bed sheet.

“It looks like that she got attacked by some wild animal,” joked one officer, until he got hit by his colleague.

“That’s not funny & I think we just got ourselves a case,” said another officer, “but Mr. Moltra, how do you know of the stolen kitchenware?”

In the next morning, Marco was in the middle of a call with Clair about what happened.

“I had this here dream wherein I was Venus & I…I mean…she got kidnapped by Hamatsujin,” accounted Marco.

“Wait, I thought Venus already got rid of the demon,” said Clair.

“Apparently, it just got away & became strong enough to take its revenge on Venus,” said Marco.

“Then you should also be on high alert too for you are also in the Cyber Style too,” warned Clair.

“I’ll keep that in mind, but I must find Venus myself anyway!” insisted Marco as h slammed the phone to end his call.

“Then let me help you, I got some people who could help,” said Clair as she realised he hung up.

After that, Clair quickly ended her phone connection & turned to face Marin in a shadowed area.

“Milady,” said Marin, “once we do this, there will be no more turning back by then.”

“Given our numbers, how could we handle Arcadius?” asked Clair.

“I have taken the liberty to rally our allies together against Arcadius,” said Marin, “and I would presume that your father will assemble a special division to handle us.”

“Then, it is time that our division gets a test run…” said Clair.

Later on, Marco was wandering around Caesar Street in search of Venus, which had been fruitless so far. As he aimlessly strolled along, he bumped into somebody.

“Oh sorry…I didn’t see where…” apologised Marco.

As Marco looked at the person he bumped into, he was a familiar face by the name of Clair. She was not alone in anyway, being accompanied by Thoth, Marin & Gethin.

“All 4 of you…what are you all doing here?” asked Marco.

“We are here to help Her Majesty without doubt,” said Marin.

“And it will be quite some time before some of us migrated back to their homeland,” said Thoth, “so for now, I’ll just stick around.”

“But now, let’s head out to the origin of this whole mess,” said Clair, “Marco, do you know where Venus was last seen?”

“Yeah, it was at Moltra Motel & it should be somewhere on this street too, but I couldn’t seem to find it yet,” said Marco.

“Maybe it is because the place is right in front of us!” said Gethin as he pointed to the building towards their side, specifically a sign that said “Moltra Motel”.

Once inside, they found the place to be empty. Without wasting much time, they proceeded to the furthest room where Venus would take residence & went inside.

“So this is her room,” remarked Marin, “hardly any signs of a struggle, but that bed sheet looks like it was slashed by some claw.”

“Maybe I can help you with this mystery clues here,” said Thoth as he felt the bed sheet, “I possess the power of Psychometry & can tell anything’s past & events that surrounds it…and I can see…a demon’s claw…it was searching for something…or someone…”

“And the mirror, it was what that claw came from,” said Marco, pointing towards the mirror as Thoth went to tap on it.

“Alright…something used this as a medium to get something…and…I know its source…” muttered Thoth.

“Ok, let’s move on & discuss about this,” said Clair.

As they left the building, Oblivia & Ryo were watching their progress from a balcony.

“It would seem that they are on to us,” said Oblivia, “this game can finally start now.”

“Let’s get someone to escort them,” suggested Ryo.

Out on Caesar Street, Clair & company crossed paths with a solitary man draped in a black cloak with a mask on his face.

“Another masked grunt!” said Marin, “He’s mine!”

Marin quickly leapt at the grunt & kicked him away. As he fell down with his mask broken, a note also flew out & Clair caught it to read.

“The grunt must be no more than a messenger from them,” remarked Marin.

“Clair, what does it say?” asked Marco.

Dear Marco De’Lai

We now have that girlfriend of yours stashed inside Warehouse 13. If you ever want to see her again alive or by your side, you & anyone else beside you must come ASAP.

Prof. Wilma Oblivia

Head of R&D, Holy Empire of Arcadius

P.S. I am counting that there are 4 of you in the group.

“It’s that woman, she’s just a boot licker & a heartless person,” said Gethin.

“This is obviously a trap,” said Thoth.

“But it’s a good one at that, I just want to see her again,” said Marco.

“Then let’s move out! This place is near the warehouse,” said Clair.

Due to the closeness between the 2 places, their journey to Warehouse 13 was especially near. Once inside there, they all walked inside the darkened areas. However, they saw a spotlight illuminating a dais seen over the distance. As they saw it, they found that Venus was there, bounded by chains on a metallic cross & unconscious as well.

“Venus!” yelled Marco.

Upon instinct, Marco rushed towards her, not caring for anything else. However, something crashed down him & triggered a shockwave that slowed him down. As Marco looked to see his obstacle, he was shocked to find the same creature from his dreams & it bared an uncanny similarity with the demon of destruction, Hamatsujin.

“You’re…are Hamatsujin!” exclaimed Marco, “but how?”

“After my defeat, I have followed the services of Lord Liberion, a man who desires for the destruction of this worthless world & we just found a compromise with that,” explained Hamatsujin, “now that I am stronger & better thanks to genetic modifications from the one called Oblivia, I shall take my revenge against you & your pesky girlfriend. Once I win, I will send both of you to Hell where you shall become my own slaves.”

“In your dreams, demon!” snapped Marco as he activated his Duel Disk, “if it’s a duel you want, then a duel you’ll get!”

“And a duel wherein you shall lose & devote the rest of eternity as my slave,” said Hamatusjin as the rough form of a Duel Disk bursted from the demon’s muscular arm.

Over the ceiling, both Ryo & Oblivia were quietly observing them from above.

“After that demon finishes him off, who do you think we ought to take?” pondered Ryo.

“I’ve told Lunette to take on Clair, so I am thinking of that Egyptian dude over there,” said Oblivia.

“Good, I really want to give that Gethin a nice cold dish of revenge myself,” said Ryo.

“So true, but let us enjoy the duel for now,” said Oblivia as she reclined.

“My turn,” said Hamatsujin, “I summon my Drillago in Attack Mode!” (1600/1100)

Suddenly, a strange robot appeared on the field. It had 2 spherical portions that served as its body with drills attached to its body.

“Now I set 3 cards face-down & I end my turn,” said Hamatsujin.

“My draw,” said Marco, “and I summon the Cyber Dragon in Attack Mode!” (2100/1600)

The mechanical Oriental dragon appeared on the field & roared am metallic cry.

“You fell for it, I activate the Trap Card called Cyber Summon Blaster & now every time a Machine Monster is Special Summoned, you will take 300 points of damage,” said Hamatsujin as a blue tank with a satellite dish on top appeared & fired a blast towards Marco.

Hamatsujin (LP: 4000) Marco (LP: 3700)

Hamatsujin (LP: 4000) Marco (LP: 3700)

“And just to tell you something, I also play with Machines too,” said Hamatsujin, “so it is double the hurt for you now.”

“So that means Marco will lose more Life Points since his deck also empathize on Special Summoning Machines-Types to the field,” remarked Marin, “that deck must be a direct counter to his Cyber Dragons.”

“But my Cyber Dragon is still stronger here & he will attack you with Strident Blast!” commanded Marco as the Cyber Dragon fired a stream of blue energy to destroy the drilling robot.

Hamatsujin (LP: 3500) Marco (LP: 3700)

Hamatsujin (LP: 3500) Marco (LP: 3700)

“Ah, but by destroying it allows me to play Regret Reborn,” said Hamatsujin, “this card allows me to reborn a monster that was destroyed this turn in Defense Mode & I believe that should be under Special Summons.”

Drillago was reformed again & blocked itself with its drill-like arms while the Summon Blaster launched another shot at Marco.

Hamatsujin (LP: 3500) Marco (LP: 3400)

“I set 2 face-downs & I end my turn,” said Marco.

“My turn then,” said Hamatsujin, “and when Drillago is facing monsters with an Attack higher than 1600, it can bypass all your monsters for a direct attack & that’s what I’ll do! Drilling Drill!”

“Not so fast, I activate the Trap Card called Miniaturize,” said Marco as the card opened, “this card allows me to reduce 1 monster’ Level by 1 & its Attack by 1000.” (LV: 4~3, 1600/1100~600/1100)

The multiple drills on Drillago’s body spun rapidly as the monster dug underground & rose to strike Marco from behind.

Hamatsujin (LP: 3500) Marco (LP: 2800)

“Hamatsujin is just hitting Marco directly at the raw nerve for his plan…just what is he aiming for?” wondered Marin.

“Now I end my turn,” said Hamatsujin.

“Then I’ll go again,” said Marco, “and I summon the Cyber Phoenix to accompany me in Attack Mode.” (1200/1600)

A mechanical phoenix with steel cold wings appeared & screeched loudly.

“And now, my Cyber Phoenix will attack your Drillago with Skydive Flare!” ordered Marco as Cyber Phoenix flew high in the sky before zooming downwards to destroy Drillago.

Hamatsujin (LP: 2900) Marco (LP: 2800)

Hamatsujin (LP: 2900) Marco (LP: 2800)

“And now, my Cyber Dragon will attack you directly!” commanded Marco as Cyber Dragon fired its laser blast.

“But, I counter that with the Trap Card, Ultimate Mine!” said Hamatsujin, “this card allows me to summon an Ultimate Mine Token in Defense Mode & you ought to be thankful that it is not another Machine-Type.”

The Trap Card opened up & a spiky sphere with a single eye appeared out of it. (DARK/Fiend/LV 10/ATK 0/DEF 0)

“But the attack will still continue,” said Marco as the Strident Blast destroyed the Token, but it caused an explosion that affected Marco as well.

Hamatsujin (LP: 2900) Marco (LP: 2000)

Hamatsujin (LP: 2900) Marco (LP: 2000)

“Of course, the Ultimate Mine Token detonates when it is destroyed in battle to give 800 points of damage,” explained Marin.

“This is getting sickening, I end my turn after setting this 1 card,” said Marco.

“I draw,” said Hamatsujin, “and I summon the Jinzo-Returner!” (600/1400)

A small thin humanoid in a skintight bodysuit appeared. It had 2 visual goggles that served as its eyes & yellow spike pads on its 2 shoulders. Due to a few of its features, it looked uncannily related to the infamous Jinzo itself.

“What’s that…it looks like Jinzo & has its name on it,” remarked Gethin.

“Wait a second!” exclaimed Marco, “now I know what type of deck you are using! That’s a Psycho-Style Deck!”

“How accurate you are, it is indeed a Psycho-Style Deck,” said Hamatsujin, “just as how I hate your Cyber-Style, so does this Psycho-Style deck despise the Cyber-Style. This should be quite a symbolic showdown indeed. Now, I play the Spell Card called Psychic Wave!”

The card appeared next to the Jinzo-Returner while Hamatsujin took out his own deck.

“Here’s the effect…I can only do this if I own a Jinzo-Returner & then I must send a real Jinzo to the graveyard & you will take damage equal to my Returner’s Attack,” said Hamatsujin as he held the Jinzo card in his claw, “and you’re finished now! Psychic Wave!”

The apparition of Jinzo appeared behind the Returner as it flew inside it & the Returner fired a blast of electricity at Marco. However, Marco was protected by a shield.

“How did that happened? I had you right there!” exclaimed Hamatsujin, but Marco merely pointed a newly-activated card.

“That card is called Damage Polarizer, a card that negates any effect that damages the opponent & both players can draw a card each,” said Oblivia.

As such, both of them drew a card each & looked at it intensively.

“Well, at least you can’t touch my 2 monsters without hurting yourself,” said Marco.

“Who says I must go through your monsters first…” claimed Hamatsujin, “…especially when this card can just go straight for your Life Points. Go, Cyber Energy Spark!”

Jinzo-Returner formed an orb of electricity in its arms & threw it at Marco to damage him.

Hamatsujin (LP: 2900) Marco (LP: 1400)

“You will be crushed by my Psycho Deck’s power before long…” goaded Hamatsujin, “and I set a face-down card to end my turn.”

“My move…” said Marco, “and now I…’

“Activate the Dark Spirit Art-Greed Trap Card,” announced Hamatsujin as the card opened, “by Releasing a DARK Monster, I can draw 2 cards. However, you can negate it by showing me a Spell Card that is in your hand.”

Marco then looked at the cards in his hand & his other free fist clenched.

“I have none of them there, so just draw your cards,” said Marco, “but I can attack you directly for the win as you have no monsters to protect yourself now.”

“So it will be 2 cards for my hand…and a new monster for me…” said Hamatsujin as it drew 2 cards & something was breaking free out of the ground.

It was a humanoid covered by a deep green bodysuit with metal plates made of a lighter shade of green & a high metal spiked collar extended its neck height. There was a green mask covering its face, leaving only the rest of the head & its hands exposed as tensed-up skin as the nerves threatened to bulge out. (2400/1500)

“That monster…the long-time rival of the Cyber Dragon…Jinzo, the Man-Made Android…but how did you summon him?” asked Marco.

“Whenever Jinzo-Returner has been sent to the graveyard, I may Special Summon Jinzo himself onto the field,” said Hamatsujin, “but he will be destroyed by the end of my next turn. But you won’t dare to attack me with your pathetic Cyber monsters now. But be thankful that my Blaster is stopped for I could inflict more damage if I wanted to.”

Marco was speechless & enraged at what happened, but he shifted both cards on his Duel Disk to a horizontal position. The holograms read out the changes & Cyber Phoenix folded its metal wings while Cyber Dragon curled itself up in response. Finally, he set 1 card on it before he gave a gesture to pass his turn.

“Just getting your monsters to hide behind my Jinzo…” said Hamatsujin as it drew, “now I play Graceful Charity for some more cards.”

The demon then drew 3 cards, but quickly discarded 2 of them.

“With that done, I equip an Equip Spell by the name of Undead Lineage,” said Hamatsujin as the card appeared & a dark spooky aura surrounded Jinzo itself, “Now Jinzo gains 500 Attack Points when it attacks & this is that moment as it takes out Cyber Dragon with Cyber Energy Shock!”

“Too bad I couldn’t use my Attack Reflector Unit…” thought Marco as the attack was readying.

As per his command, Jinzo formed an orb of black electricity to launch at Cyber Dragon to destroy it, (2400/1500~2900/1500) “and so revenge has been taken…I set 1 face-down card before ending my turn.”

“But your Jinzo will be destroyed at this time too,” remarked Clair.

“But that’s when Undead Lineage has its use…for if the monster equipped is about to be destroyed by a card effect, it can just take the hit itself,” said Hamatsujin as it slid the card to the graveyard & the dark aura left Jinzo. (2900/1500~2400/1500)

“With Jinzo out there, Marco couldn’t use his Traps & that is very bad indeed…” thought Clair, “just how would Marco succeed now?”

“My lovely creation…doing its job so greatly…His Lordship will have to give my department a nice big reward for this…maybe all the wealth within Fort Knox…” thought Oblivia as she observed the duel with gleam in her eyes.
Jinzo-Returner

DARK/Machine-Effect/LV 3/ATK 600/DEF 1400

This card can attack your opponent directly. When this card is sent to the Graveyard, you can Special Summon 1 "Jinzo" from your Graveyard. Destroy it during your End Phase.

Marco: The Card for the Day is something I was once told to beware of…the Jinzo-Returner. Although being weak in terms of strength, it represents the Psycho-Style itself along with 2 other cards. Besides being able to attack directly, it can also call out Jinzo from the graveyard when sent there itself.
Marco: The Psycho-Style…a dueling style that has been in a long conflict with the Cyber Style where I am aligned towards…I need to bring glory back to all practitioners everywhere that we are still strong enough to face dangers of all sizes. Next on Yu-Gi-Oh Key of the Mind-Ch 68-Psycho Seal! With all my might, I shall crush your seals apart & I shall summon him now to do so…
Previously on Yu-Gi-Oh Key of the Mind

Marco had a strange dream about Venus being missing & it was apparently only too true. Now, we formed up a team to find her & her captors. To no surprise, her captors were the Psychics of Arcadius & a demon whom I thought to be long-gone…Hamatsujin. Now, he’s engaged in a duel with Marco & with his Psycho Deck…a deck type that rivaled Marco’s Cyber Deck. In this showdown which burns with hatred, who shall emerge victorious…

In Liberion’s sky fortress, he silently contemplated in his own throne room of the current events that had surrounded him.

“My very own daughter…my best fighter…all betrayed me…what a dark day it is for the Psychics…” said Liberion sadly, “what is it that I had done wrong?”

Suddenly, the image of Oblivia appeared on a visual that appeared in front of him.

“My Lord, all is going perfectly with our plan,” accounted Oblivia, “we have Clair & that backstabbing High Knight right where we wanted them now!”

“Oblivia, I want you to leave Marin to me when I get there,” said Liberion, “I want to have a long talk with him.”

“You…you never put yourself on the frontline…this is something new…” remarked Oblivia, “but it shall be done for your sake.”

Hamatsujin had already gained quite an advantage over his opponent as he had summoned Jinzo to the field, effectively stopping all Trap Cards. (2400/1500) Besides the android, there was also the Cyber Summon Blaster card that was blackened due to Jinzo’s effect. However, on Marco’s side, a Cyber Phoenix & 2 face-down cards were the only things protecting him. (1200/1600) Almost all odds were stacked up against him as he began his turn.

Hamatsujin (LP: 2900) Marco (LP: 1400)

“Now I end my turn,” said Hamatsujin.

“I draw,” said Marco, “and I summon the Armored Cybern to take up Defense Mode.”

Suddenly, a yellow floating tank appeared on the field. (0/2000)

“And I play Mystic Wok & Release my Armored Cybern for its Defense Points,” said Marco as the card appeared & Cyber Phoenix vanished into grains of light that flew into Marco himself.

Hamatsujin (LP: 2900) Marco (LP: 3400)

Hamatsujin (LP: 2900) Marco (LP: 3400)

“Ah, so you have regained some Life Points, but that won’t solve anything,” said Hamatsujin.

“I draw,” said Hamatsujin, “and I play Arms Hole & send the top card of my deck to the graveyard just to look for a measly Equip Spell Card.”

It discarded the top card of the deck & then took out another card there.

“I will now equip Jinzo with that card, the Amplifier,” said Hamatsujin as a needle-stubbed helmet appeared on Jinzo’s head, “now I won’t be affected by Jinzo’s effect.”

Suddenly, the Cyber Summon Blaster regained its colour & was ready to strike Marco down at any second.

“I attack your Phoenix with Cyber Energy Shock then!” said Hamatsujin as Jinzo launched an orb of electricity at Armored Cybern to destroy it.

“But I can now draw a card since you destroyed my Phoenix,” said Marco.

“I matters not,” said Hamatsujin, “I set 2 face-down cards & end my turn.”

“I draw,” said Marco, “and I Summon the Cyber Dragon in Attack Mode!” (2100/1600)

Suddenly, the metal dragon appeared on the field.

“Now, I activate Comparable Level,” said Hamatsujin, “since you had summoned the Level 5 Cyber Dragon, I can also Summon any number of monsters from my hand as long as they add up to 5 & I’ll just go with the Level 5 Spell Canceller in Attack Mode!” (1800/1600)

Suddenly, a small mechanical spider-like robot appeared. It had a hatch that seemed to unleash laser blasts. The Cyber Summon Blaster then fired 2 blasts at Marco.

Hamatsujin (LP: 2900) Marco (LP: 2800)

Hamatsujin (LP: 2900) Marco (LP: 2800)

“Like Jinzo, this card negates all effects of Spell Cards,” said Hamatsujin.

“Ha! You’ve just made your own Amplifier worthless!” noted Gethin.

“Not really, my Amplifier’s effect cannot be negated,” said Hamatsujin, “but now look at the field & gaze upon the brilliance that is the infamous Psycho Seal! You are now set in my trap & there’s no way out now!”

“He’s right,” claimed Marin, “Jinzo negates Trap Cards while Spell Canceller negates Spell Cards. With Amplifier on, Hamatsujin can use his own Trap Cards. I’m afraid that the odds are now against Marco now.”

“But I still have 1 last trick…” said Marco slyly.

“The most you could do is to summon a new monster, seeing as all your Spells & Traps are worthless now,” said Hamatsujin.

“That might be the case, but not always…” said Marco, “so tell me, have you ever heard of the name ‘Jaden Yuki’?”

“You mean the Chosen One who vanquished both the Light of Destruction & Nightshroud…his achievements are renowned throughout every corner of reality itself,” claimed Hamatsujin, “but why would you ask that?”

“I’m sure that you had heard that Jaden’s Neo-Spacian monsters were the first to perfect a powerful play style called Contact Fusion, a type of Fusion that requires no other cards,” said Marco, “and this Cyber Dragon can do the same thing too…and I can fuse my Cyber Dragon with any other Machine monsters on the field itself to Fusion Summon the almighty Chimeratech Fortress Dragon!” (0/0)

Both Jinzo & Spell Canceller became beams of light that surrounded Cyber Dragon as the light engulfed it. As the light dimmed, it revealed a large mechanical dragon. It had the bulky appearance of a fortress & had 1 head. Suddenly, 2 more hatches along its body opened up & 2 more identical heads appeared as well. Cyber Summon Blaster then fired another blast at Marco again.

Hamatsujin (LP: 2900) Marco (LP: 2500)

“My Chimeratech Fortress Dragon’s original Attack score is 1000 Points for every Fusion Material Monsters used & there were 3 of them involved,” said Marco, (0/0~3000/0) “but the better part is that your Psycho Seal is now broken & I can attack you for the win. Go, Sonic Screech!”

“I activate my second Trap Card, Delta Barrier!” said Hamatsujin as the card opened up, followed by 2 more copies out of nowhere.

“Hey! How did those 2 come in here?” demanded Thoth.

“When my Delta Barrier is activated, it can automatically activate any other copies from the Graveyard & I just happened to have sent 2 of them earlier with Graceful Charity,” said Hamatsujin, “but now that all 3 copies are gathered together, I can negate Battle Damage from 1 attack like this one.”

Chimeratech Fortress Dragon let out a deafening screech from all 3 of its mouth towards Hamatsujin, but the 3 Delta Barrier cards created a barrier to seal off the attack.

“Damn, I really thought for a moment there that it would end soon…” said Marco, “but I’ll just have to let it go for now after setting 2 face-downs.”

“My turn,” said Hamatsujin, “and I play the Spell Card, Junk Exchange! By removing 1 Level 4 or below Machine monsters like my Drillago in my Graveyard from play, I can draw cards equal to that monster’s Level.”

Drillago slid out of the graveyard slot as Hamatsujin drew 4 new cards.

“And I play Foolish Burial to send another Jinzo-Returner to my graveyard,” said Hamatsujin as it discarded that card & Jinzo suddenly reappeared again, (2400/1500) “and you remembered Jinzo coming back.”

“And I have something special for you…by Releasing my very own Jinzo, I can Special Summon the Jinzo-Lord!” cried Hamatsujin. (2600/1600)

Suddenly, Jinzo lowed with a blinding light as it began to change. Its metal body was plated silver with little golden portions & pincher-like attachments were on its back. There was also a third visual sensor on its forehead.

“Oh my God! The most powerful card of the Psycho-Style…a card whose rarity is equaled by Cyber End Dragon or Chimeratech Overdragon…” exclaimed Marco as he gazed at the newly-summoned monster.

“Like its previous form, Jinzo-Lord negates Traps…and another extra ability,” said Hamatsujin, “once per turn, it can destroy all face-up Trap Cards & damage the opponent 300 points per card. Therefore, I destroy my Cyber Summon Blaster & the Delta Barriers!”

Suddenly, Cyber Summon Blaster & the 3 Delta Barriers all shattered into pixels as Jinzo-Lord fired a crimson red laser beam at Marco.

Hamatsujin (LP: 2900) Marco (LP: 1300)

Hamatsujin (LP: 2900) Marco (LP: 1300)

“But you still can’t attack me with the weaker Jinzo-Lord,” said Marco.

“Or can I…I play Limiter Removal to double my Jinzo-Lord’s Attack score!” (2600/1600~5200/1600) said Hamatsujin, “now, tear down that Fortress Dragon with Cyber Energy Impact!”

“I activate the Trap Card, Cybernetic Hidden Technology!” declared Marco, “this card activates only you are about to attack me. By sending a Cyber Dragon or any Fusion Monster that uses Cyber Dragon, I can destroy the attacking monster.”

Chimeratech Overdragon vanished into thin air & Jinzo-Lord was bombarded with a vat of hot liquid that seemed to have melted away the android monster.

“Damn it! I settle with the Reflect Bounder in Attack Mode,” said Hamatsujin as a jester-like robot with multiple mirror panels all over its body, (1700/1000) “I now end my turn.”

“I draw,” said Marco, “I summon the Cyber Kirin in Attack Mode!” (300/800)

A mechanical short-necked giraffe appeared on the field.

“By its own effect, I will now Release it!” proclaimed Marco as Cyber Kirin vanished into light.

“What kind of effect are you hoping to achieve?” demanded Hamatsujin.

“The effects that shall lead to your defeat, I activate Overload Fusion!” cried Marco as the card appeared, “By removing every Machine monster other than my Fortress Dragon in my graveyard from play, I can Fusion Summon the Chimeratech Overdragon!” (?/?~4000/4000)

The ghostly images of the 2 Cyber Dragons, Cyber Phoenix, Cyber Kirin & Armored Cybern appeared behind Marco as they all merged together as light to form a gigantic black core. Once the core was fully seen, 4 heads suddenly crept out of there.

“Why didn’t he include Chimeratech Fortress Dragon into the mix?” wondered Clair.

“Because it can’t be used as a Fusion Material Monster itself,” explained Marin, “but I would look out for that Reflect Bounder…he can reflect the damage taken back to the opponent who attacked him.”

“Marco, whatever you do, don’t attack that Reflect Bounder!” warned Gethin.

“Of course, what a good idea! You heard him, Chimeratech, let’s do it with Strident Blaze Overdrive!” commanded Marco.

“Is he crazy or what…no wait…I see…he’s smart…” thought Clair as she nodded.

“I’ve won now!” proclaimed Hamatsujin, “by attacking it, I can inflict damage equal to the attacking monster’s Attack…which is 4000, a value that is way over your Life Points!”

As the multiple Strident Blasts of Chimeratech Overdragon struck the various mirrors, they were rebounded back towards Marco himself. However, a barrier appeared to protect him from the attack.

“But how did you…” hollered Hamatsujin.

“Remember how I had Released Cyber Kirin with its own effect,” said Marco, “since I did that, all Effect Damage dealt this turn is null & void.”

Hamatsujin (LP: 600) Marco (LP: 1300)

Hamatsujin (LP: 600) Marco (LP: 1300)

“Bah, at least I still have Life Points left,” said Hamatsujin.

“Only if by ‘have’, you mean ‘had’. I activate my face-down Destruction Follow-Up & it inflicts you Damage equal to half of the destroyed monster’s Attack,” said Marco as Hamatsujin was engulfed by an explosion.

Hamatsujin (LP: 0) Marco (LP: 1300)

After that final strike, the body of Hamatsujin suddenly bulged on their own as they threatened to rip it apart. Finally, the demon bursted into a black substance that spilled throughout the area.

“Disgusting!” remarked Marco.

“My creation…all ruined…now he’s gonna get it too,” said Oblivia.

“You did it, Marco. I’m certain Venus would be proud of you,” said Clair, “but let’s rescue her now.”

“We couldn’t allow you that however,” announced a voice from above & Venus was moved by robotic attachments.

“Give us back Venus, you bastards!” yelled Marco.

“Who’s there?” demanded Marin as he prepared to draw his sword.

Suddenly, a spotlight was lit over a part of the ceiling. It revealed Ryo, Oblivia & Lunette standing over there & looking down on Clair & company.

“Lunette…” muttered Marin in shock.

“Marin, what’s wrong?” asked Clair.

“My…my niece…she’s finally out on the field…at last…but…not what I really expected…” stuttered Marin in shock.

Meanwhile, outside the Warehouse Areas of Oregeorgia, Liberion was walking solitarily & leisurely along the area to enjoy the scenic stroll.

“After so many years, I am finally back here…to that fateful place…” said Liberion, “just like how my memories were spewed onto the ground here, so did my daughter’s…it is about time I see her skills up close…”
Cyber Kirin

LIGHT/Machine-Effect/LV 3/ATK 300/DEF 800

You can Tribute this card to make any effect damage you take this turn 0.

Marco: The Card of the Day is my Cyber Kirin! Its form is based on the Chinese creature only known as the Qilin. By Releasing it, I can reduce all Effect Damage down to 0. This is a good card to use if you are knowingly walking right into a situation where you have to damage yourself.
Inside Warehouse 13, Clair along her allies had a long hard stare with both Oblivia & Ryo with Lunette just looking away. Liberion was there for quite some time, but he chose to merely observe the situation from a higher ground for now. After the long period of uncanny silence, Oblivia had decided to speak first.

“Greetings, my name is Professor Oblivia & I am the Head of the R&D crew of Arcadius, but Gethin would most likely know that too,” introduced Oblivia.

“The self-destruct thing…that was your idea…why must you do such a thing?” demanded Gethin, “you evil witch, you don’t even care about what we are making here! We are creating the impossible, new life! Something we should cherish & protect!”

“And their purpose shall expire over time & the mechanism offers a safe alternative in cases of treason from the Syntho-Daemons,” reasoned Oblivia, “as a scientist, we should not be too sentimental or that would be our undoing, just as you left Arcadius because you feel too much.”

“And you are just some wannabe who craves more attention from His Majesty even when you have no chance with him,” remarked Marin.

“Let’s get down to business first! We all will have to duel you to put you all out of commission here…and I shall start things first,” said Oblivia, “and my opponent is…the Egyptian man over there.”

“It would be my pleasure to be able to duel you,” said Thoth as he activated his black & red Duel Disk.

“But my victory shall be swift & deadly,” said Oblivia wickedly as she activated her own Duel Disk, a transparent crystal-clear Duel Disk in which its insides could be seen clearly.

Oblivia (LP: 4000) Thoth (LP: 4000)

“I will start the duel first then,” said Thoth, “I summon the Masked Dragon in Attack Mode!” (1400/1100)

Suddenly, a cream-coloured middle-sized dragon with a red underside appeared onto the field & flapped its 2 wings.

“Now, I end my turn,” said Thoth.

“It is my turn now,” said Oblivia, “I summon the Clear Phantom in Defense Mode.” (1200/800)

A block of crystal suddenly appeared out of thin air & a black insectoid with a single eye appeared inside it. The creature was staring blankly into open space.

“Now, I play a Field Spell from my hand, and it is called Clear World,” continued Oblivia as she slid the card inside her Disk.

6 crystal prisms appeared floating in a formation that seemed to have surrounded the 2 duelists. After that, a colorless void expanded from the center to cover the whole area.

“What the Hell…”exclaimed Marco.

“Welcome to the Clear World, a void that rejects all forms of matter & life,” said Oblivia, “because of that, we all will suffer a Negative Effect based on the Attribute of monsters that we have on the field. By possessing the FIRE Masked Dragon, you shall lose 1000 Life Points during each of your End Phase.”

“And what about your Clear Phantom? It looks like a DARK Monster to me,” said Thoth.

“Ah, ‘tis the special part of my Clear Monsters…when on the field, they are known to have no Attribute,” said Oblivia, “but in other cases, the owner of a DARK Monster cannot attack at all. But, I don’t feel like attacking now, so I will just set 1 face-down card of my own to end things.”

“This is bad, so as long as there is Clear World, Thoth will be handicapped by the Negative Effects,” said Clair.

“I draw,” said Thoth, “and I don’t care what kind of Negative Effects you can throw at me as long I will win this thing!”

“Talk is cheap, honey, so show something to impress me,” said Oblivia.

“I summon the Bomb Dragon in Attack Mode!” said Thoth as a brown dragon attached with multiple bombs throughout its body appeared, (1500/900) “and now, my Masked Dragon will attack your Clear Phantom!”

Masked Dragon flew towards Clear Phantom & breathed out a blast of flames at Clear Phantom to break its crystal prism. From the explosion, several crystal pieces flew out to stab Bomb Dragon & it also exploded as a result. The explosion then affected Masked Dragon as its wings were hurt in the process. (1400/1100~1100/1100)

“When my Clear Phantom is destroyed like just now, I can return the favor & you must send 3 cards from the top of your deck to the graveyard,” explained Oblivia.

Thoth clenched his fist as he heard the news, but grudgingly discarded the 3 cards. (Red-Eyes B. Dragon, Metalmorph, Stamping Destruction)

“But I should just tell you the EARTH Negative Effect that forces you to destroy 1 of your own monsters by your End Phase,” said Oblivia, “and with your Bomb Dragon’s demise, another monster must lose 300 Attack Points. See how your own monsters continue to backstab you & they shall be your downfall.”

“I set 2 face-down cards & end my turn,” said Thoth as he was suddenly burnt.

Oblivia (LP: 4000) Thoth (LP: 3000)

“Remember that your dragon is a FIRE Monster, which means you must be damaged every End Phase,” noted Oblivia as she drew, “I summon the Clear Rage Golem in Attack Mode!” (1600/1800)

Another crystal prism appeared out of nowhere & a grey stone-like creature appeared inside the crystal.

“Now, I activate the Contingency Fee,” said Oblivia, “now, you have to draw up to 6 cards, but I will gain 1000 for each of those cards drawn.”

Thoth grunted as he drew 3 cards from his deck while Oblivia gained more Life Points.

Oblivia (LP: 7000) Thoth (LP: 3000)

“But that’s not all yet,” said Oblivia, “I activate Appropriate so that I may draw 2 cards for every card you had drawn outside the Draw Phase…and that will be 6 cards for me.”

Oblivia laughed loudly as she drew 6 more cards from her deck & gleamed at its contents.

“Now, I play the Normal Spell Card called Divide & Conquer,” said Oblivia, “now, by dividing my Clear Rage Golem’s Attack by 2, I can attack the opponent directly. Go, my Clear Rage Golem, Clear Cruelty!” (1600/1800~800/1800)

The stone creature inside the crystal phased out of it & stretched out its stony arms to fire a barrage of stone shards to pierce Thoth.

“And I play Sebek’s Blessings to gain Life Points equal to the damage,” said Oblivia.

Oblivia (LP: 7800) Thoth (LP: 2200)

“Why didn’t she attack Masked Dragon?” wondered Clair.

“Firstly, she must have wanted Thoth to suffer the effects of Clear World & there is a bonus for the situation where in a Clear Rage Golem attacks directly…” said Marin.

“By attacking directly, my Clear Rage Golem can inflict 300 points of damage to you for every card in your hand,” said Oblivia.

As Clear Rage Golem retreated inside its crystal seal, 6 fireballs were formed around it & launched themselves towards Thoth.

Oblivia (LP: 7800) Thoth (LP: 400)

Oblivia (LP: 7800) Thoth (LP: 400)

“No wonder she used Contingency Fee earlier on,” said Marco, “so that she can trun his hand size against him.”

“I end my turn, but I need to discard 1 card to have the proper number of 6,” said Oblivia as she discarded a card from her hand. (800/1800~1600/1800)

“His Masked Dragon will be his end,” thought Oblivia, “but even if he manages to avoid that fate,I have Spell Reproduction & the 2 Spell Cards to discard for its effect.”

“I draw,” said Thoth, “I will now…”

“I activate my other Trap Card, the Memory Snatcher!” declared Oblivia, “from now on, if a card effect targets a card in the graveyard; you have to name the card…if you can remember it, that is…”

“What a strange card, that could limit the use of her graveyard,” remarked Marco.

“With those Clear monsters, she doesn’t need the graveyard so much,” said Gethin.

“I Release my Masked Dragon for the Genesic Dragon!” said Thoth as Masked Dragon disappeared in a portal for a black wyvern-type dragon with a white underside. (2200/1800)

“Ok, that is a LIGHT Monster, so what happens now?” asked Clair.

Suddenly, the floating crystals shone & reflected the images of Thoth’s remaining cards on hand. (Attachment Dragon, Inferno Fire Blast, Eye of Wdjat, Super Rejuvenation, Spear Dragon, Grief Tablet)

“Let me guess, a LIGHT Monster reveals the hand,” said Ryo.

“But let’s see if it can deal with my Genesic Dragon’s effect,” said Thoth, “by sending a dragon from my hand to the graveyard, I can add 1 dragon from my graveyard to my hand.”

“Oh really, but since Memory Snatcher is active on the field, you must declare the card’s name or it will be negated,” said Oblivia as her eyes glowed, “but my question is that if you actually have a dragon monster there?”

“I send away the Attachment Dragon in my hand to the graveyard and I take back my…my…” said Thoth before he paused, “I…need to take a look at my graveyard for a while.”

“No can do, since Memory Snatcher also prevents you from checking our graveyards, so what are you adding to your hand?” wondered Oblivia, “but if you are bluffing this, then it’s too bad.”

“Damn it! I remembered I sent a Dragon monster to the graveyard…but what was it?” thought Thoth.

“What’s going on here?” asked Clair.

“Hmmm…there’s no way she’s doing all this! Her powers are activated via touch & I don’t see any of that so far…unless…they evolved!” thought Marin as he took a card from his pocket & threw it to graze Oblivia.

“What did you do that for?” inquired Ryo, “physically hurting the opponent like that, completely unfair!”

“It is rather fair in the special case where the opponent tries to cheat with her Psychic powers,” said Marin, “your powers to remove memories have improved beyond touch, didn’t it?”

“You are very intelligent, no wonder you are the High Knight of Arcadius,” said Oblivia, “you got me, my friend. My powers can now work through direct eye contact thanks to some training & I am trying to work on re-modifying them too.”

“So you can easily use Memory Snatcher’s effect in conjunction with your powers to shut down any of the opponent’s cards that aim for the graveyard,” said Marin as he drew out his sword, “You have better stop this nonsense now or you will be cut in half-price, but don’t you expose yourselves a lot previously?”

“Huh, what would that be about?” wondered Clair.

“Very well, I will play fair then if you must insist,” said Oblivia, “and I’ll tell you the name of that card I believe you want to summon…the Red-Eyes B. Dragon that I sent to the grave due to Clear Phantom’s effect…”

“C’mon! Who would believe you?” said Gethin, “I won’t for one!”

“But I shall give you the benefit of a doubt. I use Genesic Dragon’s effect & discard Attachment Dragon to take back my…Red-Eyes B. Dragon!” cried Thoth as he discarded the card & the card popped out of the graveyard slot, “so you are correct.”

“Of course I am. Gethin-boy, you should learn to trust people more often,” lectured Oblivia, “maybe I could use my powers to wipe out all your memories & reeducate you right from the scratch.”

“I don’t need you to lecture me here!” retorted Gethin, “and you can stay out of my head!”

At this moment, the image of Spear Dragon on top of Thoth’s head disappeared & was replaced with that of Red-Eyes B. Dragon.

“Moving on the duel, I declare the attack of my Genesic Dragon on your Clear Rage Dragon with its Burst of Eden!” commanded Thoth as Genesic Dragon launched a light blast from its mouth to hit the Clear Rage Golem & destroy it.

Oblivia (LP: 7200) Thoth (LP: 400)

“But you hardly made a dent in my Life Points,” said Oblivia, “it really seems I don’t need to waste my powers on you to win the duel.”

“I activate my face-down card, Dragon Evolution!” called Thoth, “by Releasing a dragon monster I control, I can Special Summon another Dragon monster from my hand, but it must be a Level higher.”

“And since Genesic Dragon is a Level 6…add a one to it and you get…” said Clair.

“The Level 7 Red-Eyes B. Dragon, come forth!” shouted Thoth.

Genesic Dragon was engulfed in a powerful glow that the famed dark dragon appeared from & roared. (2400/2000) At this moment, the contents of Thoth’s hand disappeared.

“Oh my gosh, the big bad dragon can attack me directly…but my Clear World’s Negative Effect will pull the plug on attacks for DARK Monsters,” said Oblivia.

“This is a card that you saw & that will help me out a lot…I give you the Inferno Fire Blast Spell Card,” said Thoth, “It gives you damage equal to my Red-Eyes Attack score.”

Red-Eyes B. Dragon roared as it flew in the sky & launched a black fireball at Oblivia.

Oblivia (LP: 4800) Thoth (LP: 400)

Oblivia (LP: 4800) Thoth (LP: 400)

“Now, I play Super Rejuvenation & am allowed to draw a card for every dragon discarded or Released this turn,” said Thoth as he drew 2 new cards.

“But I will get 4 more cards then,” said Oblivia as she drew the cards.

“Now, I set 1 card & end my turn,” said Thoth, while Oblivia discarded 4 cards to keep up the hand size limit.

“Now, the hands are off the gloves & it is time to crush you once & for all,” said Oblivia as she drew, “I play Clear Sacrifice! BY removing Clear monsters in my graveyard from play, I am able to Advance Summon a high-Level Clear monster from my hand this turn! Therefore, I remove both Clear Phantom & Clear Rage Golem from play in order to Summon the…Clear Vice Dragon!!!” (0/0)

The images of the insectoid demon & stone golem appeared in front of Oblivia as they vanished into nothingness. Suddenly, a burst of light erupted on the area as a large crystal prism appeared on the field. From within the crystal, a large brown dragon was seen inside it.

“No matter how you try, I will always be 1 step ahead of you & so can my Clear Vice Dragon whose effect allows it to gain double the Attack of its target,” said Oblivia. (0/0~4800/0)

“What?! That’s crazy!” yelled Marco, “that would make it invincible!”

“I know, my Clear Vice Dragon, wipe out that pathetic little dragon with Clear Malicious Stream!” yelled Oblivia as the dragon crept out of the crystal & fired a blast of darkness from its mouth at Red-Eyes.

“Oh no you don’t! I activate Draining Shield!" said Thoth as the dark blast was protected by an energy shield.

Oblivia (LP: 4800) Thoth (LP: 5200)

Oblivia (LP: 4800) Thoth (LP: 5200)

“Ha! So we are now on equal grounds more or less!” claimed Oblivia, “I honestly didn’t expect you to last that long, but you will just have to squirm your way now. After battling, my Clear Vice Dragon goes into Defense Mode.”

The dragon inside quickly folded its wings to cover its form, despite the high level of protection that the crystal would have provided.

“Next off, I equip your dragon with the Scroll of Bewitchment & I choose FIRE for its effect,” said Oblivia as Red-Eyes glowed red, “now your dragon is a FIRE Monster.”

“But that means I could attack you now,” said Thoth.

“That may be true, but your Life Points will be depleted faster now,” said Oblivia, “I set a face-down card & end my turn.”

“I draw,” said Thoth, “and I summon the Spear Dragon in Attack Mode!” (1900/0)

A blue dinosaur-like dragon appeared & flapped its wings as it screeched.

“Since you have a WIND Monster on your side, all Spell Cards are now neutralized,” said Oblivia, “but let me warn you that I can discard a card to negate my Clear Vice Dragon’s destruction by either battle or card effects.”

“Now that makes it even more broken than it already is,” claimed Marco.

“But I can still attack you & my Spear Dragon shall go first!” declared Thoth as Spear Dragon fired a tornado blast from its mouth.

“Like my deck has shown you, I like to turn my opponent’s monsters & strategies against them & the cards I use are no more different. I activate the Trap Card, Blue on Blue!” said Oblivia, “this card forces you to attack your only other monster & that will be your Red-Eyes B. Dragon!”

Suddenly, the Spear Dragon’s blast changed course & headed straight for Red-Eyes, However, the stronger Red-Eyes faced Spear Dragon & burnt it with its flame blast.

Oblivia (LP: 4800) Thoth (LP: 4700)

Oblivia (LP: 4800) Thoth (LP: 4700)

“It is hopeless! Quit fooling yourself & accept defeat as it is!” suggested Oblivia.

“No way, you witch! I set 1 card & I end my turn,” said Thoth as he was then burnt badly.

Oblivia (LP: 4800) Thoth (LP: 3700)

Oblivia (LP: 4800) Thoth (LP: 3700)

“My turn then,” said Oblivia, “and I move my Clear Vice Dragon into Attack Mode.”

Suddenly, the Vice Dragon unfolded its wings & stared at Red-Eyes maliciously.

“Clear Vice Dragon, attack the kid’s Red-Eyes with Clear Malicious Stream!” commanded Oblivia as Clear Vice Dragon formed a blast of darkness in its mouth & fired it at Red-Eyes. (0/0~4800/0)

“I activate Dimensional Prison & this removes your Dragon from play!” said Thoth.

As the dark blast approached Red-Eyes, a dimensional rift suddenly opened up to absorb the attack & also the Clear Vice Dragon in it.

“That’s the loophole of a monster that couldn’t be destroyed,” said Marin, “guess your methods are never failsafe, but I knew that long ago.”

“Shut up, Marin!” snapped Oblivia, “that was all in the past & you keep bringing that up!”

“What’s going on, Marin?” asked Clair, “and that’s an order to be answered by you.”

“Well…Oblivia was once a researcher living amongst the normal humans, but during the Genocide, she was backstabbed by her workers & was close to death…if she never used her powers & fled the place,” said Marin.

“Shut up! They were the past, the past I wanted to forget!” yelled Oblivia.

“Despite your powers, you can never seal away your own memories as it keeps coming back. You eventually find home in Las Vegas where you became a prostitute & effectively steal valuables,” continued Marin, “but the gold didn’t relieve that pain. When we extended the hand of invitation to join us, you submerged yourself in science just to forget that pain!”

“Just shut up! Shut up!!!” yelled Oblivia.

“That incident always seem to scar your soul & I know why, the man who betrayed you, he was the same man you had a crush on & tricked on the bed once, isn’t it?” said Marin.

“No more! Just zip it!” yelled Oblivia as she was driven to tears, “just…please…stop. I summon the Mystic Tomato in Defense Mode & end turn.” (1400/1100)

Suddenly, a fiendish-looking giant tomato appeared & winked at Clair.

“Hmmm…something even I don’t know, Marin is getting sharper with all that time he spent on training the newbie,” remarked Liberion, “I ought to release her from those painful memories.”

“I draw,” said Thoth, “I play Reload & then summon the Gray Wing in Attack Mode!” (1300/700)

A dinosaur-like dragon with 2 insect-like wings appeared on the field & growled.

“By discarding a card from my hand, my Gray Wing can attack twice per turn,” said Thoth as he discarded a card, “now my Gray Wing attacks your Mystic Tomato!”

Gray Wing flew towards & bit into Mystic Tomato, thus destroying it. Suddenly, a square-shaped crystal block appeared & a small miniature robot appeared inside it, kneeling in defense. (0/0)

“That’s my Clear Cube,” said Oblivia, “my Clear monsters only don’t have Attributes when on the field, but they are treated as DARK Monsters anywhere else.”

“I attack your Clear Cube with my Gray Wing’s second strike!” commanded Thoth as Gray Wing flew in for a second strike & a second Clear Cube appeared. (0/0)

“The effect of my Clear Cube allows me to summon another copy if one on the field was removed from it other than a Release,” explained Oblivia.

“Now, I attack that Clear Cube with my dragon’s Inferno Fire Blast!” commanded Thoth.

Red-Eyes B. Dragon launched a fireball at Clear Cube to destroy it, but a third one appeared on the field. (0/0)

“I set a face-down card & end my turn,” said Thoth.

Oblivia (LP: 4800) Thoth (LP: 2700)

Oblivia (LP: 4800) Thoth (LP: 2700)

“I draw,” said Oblivia, “and now I Release my Clear Cube to Advance Summon my Clear Vicious Knight!” (2300/1100)

The robot in the glass cube disappeared in a portal as a tall crystal block appeared in its place. The image of a demonic knight was seen clearly inside the crystal prism. A blade was apparently attached to its right arm.

“Since my Vicious Knight is the only monster on the field, his effect allows it to gain the original Attack of the monster on your side of the field with the highest original Attack,” said Oblivia, (2300/1100~4700/1100) “and now, attack the weaker Gray Wings with End of the Clean!”

“I activate Covering Fire & my Red-Eyes’ Attack score is added to Gray Wing’s!” said Thoth. (1300/700~3700/700)

The demonic knight crawled out of the prism & swung its blade at Gray Wings, which destroyed it instantly.

Oblivia (LP: 4800) Thoth (LP: 1700)

Oblivia (LP: 4800) Thoth (LP: 1700)

“Idiot, you should have been honored by being slain by my most prized Clear Vicious Knight, but you had to squirm all the way…I end my turn,” said Oblivia.

“I draw,” said Thoth as he grinned at his newly-drawn card, “I play the Spell Card called Spellbook Inside the Pot so that we may draw 3 cards each.”

Thoth drew 3 cards, while Oblivia drew 6 more cards to her hand.

“By removing my Red-Eyes from play; I can Special Summon the Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon from my hand!” said Thoth. (2800/2400)

Red-Eyes B. Dragon disappeared into light grains as a metallic winged black dragon similar to Red-Eyes Darkness Dragon appeared on the field & roared loudly.

“That should be a DARK Monster, so you just got yourself nowhere,” said Oblivia, “besides, my Vicious Knight will add those new points to his Attack score.” (4700/1100~2300/1100~5100/1100)

“I use my Dragon’s special ability & summon a dragon monster from my graveyard & I summon the Genesic Drgaon!” said Thoth as another black dragon appeared on the field & the other 2 cards in Thoth was shown clearly as Exploder Dragon & Dragon’s Devil Eyes, (2200/1800) “I also summon the Exploder Dragon in Attack Mode as well.” (1000/0)

Suddenly, a blue dragon holding a bomb-shaped ball appeared on the field & snarled at Oblivia.

“Finally, I play Dragon’s Devil Eyes & this lets me destroy Spell or Trap Cards based on the number of dragons that I have on the field & that will be 3,” said Thoth.

The 3 dragons’ eyes glowed & both Trap Cards shattered. The towering crystals that surrounded Clear World shattered & the void shrunk into nothingness.

“But without Clear World, you are free from all those effects,” said Oblivia, “but how would you take down my Clear Vicious Knight?”

“By attacking it of course, my Exploder Dragon, blast that knight with Cannonball Clash!” said Thoth as the dragon flew directly towards Clear Vicious Knight, only to be destroyed by his blade, but it was caught in an explosion that also destroyed it.

“Good job, Exploder Dragon can destroy the monster that destroyed it & no Battle Damage is taken when attacking,” claimed Marin.

“And now, my 2 other dragons…attack with both Burst of Eden & Inferno Metal Flare!” commanded Thoth as both Genesic Dragon & Darkness Metal Dragon unleashed blasts of light & fire at Oblivia.

Oblivia (LP: 0) Thoth (LP: 1700)

“No…there’s no way…I couldn’t…” muttered Oblivia, kneeling in despair.

“Here’s the thing, Oblivia. Your past may seem a sad one, but that makes you who you are today,” said Thoth, “learn from the past & live on towards your future.”

“And blah-blah & BLAH!” interrupted Ryo as he shoved the crying Oblivia aside, “it’s time for me to crush the man who got me spiraling down life! Gethin Ira, you traitor, step forward & duel me now!”

Upon those words, Gethin began to take a step forward to meet his former opponent.

“You said you wanted a duel right…” said Gethin as he activated his own Duel Disk, “well you’re on…”
Clear World

Field Spell

If a monster(s) of any of the following Attributes exists on the field, apply the relevant effect(s) to that monster's controller:

●LIGHT: Play with their hand revealed.

●DARK: They cannot declare an attack.

●EARTH: Once per Turn, Destroy 1 monster they control.

●WATER: During the End Phase, they discard 1 card from their hand.

●FIRE: During the End Phase, they take 1000 damage.

●WIND: They cannot activate Spell Cards.

Oblivia: The Card of the Day is the infamous Field Spell Card, Clear World. As a realm of nothingness, it rejects all forms of matter & life. Therefore, it grants a player a Negative Effect based on the Attribute of any monster on the field.

Thoth: From how I see it, LIGHT Monsters forces the hand revealed to all. The FIRE effect damages the opponent for 1000 points, while the WIND Effect freezes Spell Cards. The DARK Effect prevents battling for the monsters.

Oblivia: And the EARTH Effect forces a monster to be destroyed, while the WATER Effect forces cards to be discarded. All monsters other than my Clear monsters cannot escape this fate brought upon them based on their very nature.
Marco: Ok, now Ryo is dueling against Gethin for some rematch…but those cards he used, I heard of them & they are not something you would see everything. Next on Yu-Gi-Oh Key of the Mind-Ch 70-Lost Half! Man, does this guy attracted to all those rare cursed cards or what?
