Master of Sabers Posted October 26, 2012 Report Share Posted October 26, 2012 For the PWT, I use Scizor, Heatran, and Dragonite. They work wonders. Scizor is the typical Choice Band Scizor. Bug Bite, Bullet Punch, U Turn, and Superpower. Heatran is a choice scarf user with Fire Blast, Dragon Pulse, Earth Power, and Explosion, although I'm replacing Explosion with the huge nerf this generation. Not sure with what. And Dragonite, as I've posted, is a dragon dancer with roost, dragon dance, earthquake, and outrage. All EV trained. And yes, they were some of my comp. pokemon from gen 4, hehe! This game is huge. I'm also currently playing PWT and I had no trouble at all beating the Leaders except for the Hoenn leaders, which had an unpredictable movesets and just a general bad match-up for my team. Team for PWT: [b]Ferrothron[/b] [i]Focus Sash[/i] Power Whip Explosion Gyro Ball Payback [b]Haxorus[/b] [i]Life Orb[/i] Dragon Dance X-Scissor Earthquake Outrage [b]Starmie[/b] [i]Choice Specs[/i] Surf Ice Beam Psychic Thunderbolt Still need to grind for that Brick Break TM :/ And lol at the AI in Mix mode of PWT. 90% of the time they pick Haxorus and then always use Dragon Dance as their first move instead of sweeping my party. Any other time I'll use Surf in game, but for the E4 I wanted a move with a better upside, cause even if I don't really want the burn, getting it randomly won't hurt. Any beat the E4 with only 3 pokemon fainting through all the battles. Sadly Emboar was one of them and it happened in the final battle, so I was like, lol no, that didn't happen and revived it with no plan on using it. I had no idea she would start with Hyd and was like, crap, none of my pokemon can switch in on so I had to let one go. However, even though I didn't want to use Emboar, her Dragon Tail had other plans and he ended up coming in anyway. Was nice that my whole team got in on the final fight with all but Reun hitting the final on one of her pokemon. It did take out half the HP of the one Emboar took out so I guess all is fair. Its funny I went in thinking, team of dragons, this will be hard, only for the game to send out 3 none dragon. As such, my Krook got to take out 2 1/2 of her pokemon. The half was her Hax who tried to dance only to get tailed away. Was a little sad though that Krook just got Outrage only for her to have 1 pokemon left and I just said, I want Jell to get some action. Team levels at the end were, 2 LV.58, 2 LV.59, 1 LV.60, and 1 LV.61. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I decided to catch it now because I didn't want to face Whirlwind later My Vui (Espeon) conpletely destroyed the PWT Driftveil tourney (the one you have to do) single-handed. The Pokemon I can choose are Salamence, Seimsitoad, Bastiodon, Jynx, Hippowdon and Gardevoir. The problem? The Hippowdon is a shiny.
