Level grinding for Volcarno before bed. Figured E4 would be fastest since she can't learn any multi hit moves and in the last round before she was going to evolve I ran out of super potions. Good thing I had my level 99 with me.

Then when looking for those last few levels I found a shiny mushroom. Kind of wish it was Noctowl though.

So I bought Y version today and set the language to Japanese for sh*ts and giggles.

Turns out all the Pokemon I trade from that game over have "Japanese origin", they have the JAP in the corner of their info.

So then, they would be able to be used to Masuda method, right? Or would they have to come from a Japanese 3DS?

Trying to Masuda a Froakie. In the process, I gave away tons of Protean Froakies (hereunto referred as Proakies) that I hatched on Wonder Trade and got some pretty neat stuff.

Such as:

Gooey Goomy

Well-bred Adamant pokes (Heracross, 2 Honedges, and Charmander)
Cool pokes I didn't have before (Skrelp, Growlithe, Larvesta, Tyrunt, Conkuldurr, Klang, etc.)
A Snorlax and Fletchling with PokeRUS.

A Joltik named BugLightyear

No shiny today, but did have a pretty good haul.

Also met a guy who has a Grass safari with Quilladin and Ivysaur.

Among the stuff I got that was less than desirable:
A billion Fennekins.

People don't like their starters.

Yveltal annoyed me because it kept Oblivion Winging my team. Salamence helped me keep it low enough. Didn't have that much trouble with Xerneas.

This x1.5 Trade Boost means Salamence is barely used. Strange because Lucky Egg provides x1.5 too, but Aerodactyl kept falling to the front of my team (Based on EXP to next level) and both are in the same Slow EXP group. Ah well. Salamence hits like a brick. Blastoise I've fallen out of love with, not idea why. (Other than it's stats are too balanced and it's Spl/Phy aren't good enough to hit hard).

On the way to Victory Road now. Yay..

Just seen Shiny Tyrantrum on Serebii..ew

Serebii has the capture rates: (255 is the max, with ball and status increasing it obviously. And Critical capture).

Xerneas/Yveltal: 70/255

Zygarde: 3/255

Confirming it is easier to catch them compared to:

Zekrom/Reshiram: 45/255

Kyurem: 3/255

Dialga/Pakia: 30/255

Giratina: 3/255

Kygore/Groudon: 5/255

Rayquaza: 3/255

Raikou/Entei/Suicune: 3/255

Lugia/Ho-Oh: 3/255

Articuno/Zapdos/Moltres: 3/255

Mewtwo: 3/255

Mew: 45/255

So the main legendary (if you ignore Platinum) is getting easier, if you ignore Glitch Mew.

Nice job. I still only have 1 perfect, but I'm not trying too hard to get perfects, but I do have a plethora of 5 perfects, and focusing on 5 perfects that lack the non-essential stat.

When I say perfect I mean 5 perfect IVs. None of those pokemon need the second attack stat so its pointless to try to get it since the end result is the same thing.
