~British Soul~
Oh hey, Psychics finally get a pure vanilla, not counting the vanilla/pendulum they got in CORE.Though I kinda wished Alpha was an effect monster tbh.
mshends
Hey looks, another normal monster with 0 DEF ( Box of friends and Masked Chameleon would love it)
Atypical-Abbie
PSYFrame Gear Alpha's effect is all kinds of silly. I wonder if Urgent Tuning could be useful with that card, since it will most likely die before you can Synchro with it.
Flash Flyer - Sakura
Looks like we were wrong about what Attribute these guys would be, but then again they might get other members with different ones. But it's unlikely. Alpha is a walking Level 7 enabler into Zeta (or whatever generic Level 7 Synchros exist), which is still kinda cool.Only problem is that you can't have monsters out when you SS it, and it relies specifically on Driver; but it can be from anywhere so still nice. (I'm iffy on it being a Nomi monster, but I can probably see why, given it's insta-boss) Zeta can bounce away threats for a while, and recycle used PSYFrame cards if it's in the Graveyard; probably recycle Alpha and make this again if needed.Being generic is still nice though, if only for its first effect. -----Interested in what else they have going for them now. 玄魔の王
So, wait. Alpha is a Cosmobeet, a Goblindbergh/Junk Synchron/E-Tele AND a Stratos, all at once? "We couldn't decide what effect to give the Tuner, so we gave it ALL THE EFFECTS."
The Warden
.....Psychic/Special Summon/Tuner/Effect? It's a thing the OCG is doing. Special Summon is a new sub-type given to Nomis and I think semi-Nomis, to show that they are Nomis.
CLG Klavier
Huh. I wonder if they will get their own Urgent Tuning like card? It would be kinda in-theme with the stuff we've seen so far. Otherwise maybe actual Urgent Tuning will work, since Gear Alpha is a +1 anyways.
SirReal
Technically Gear Alpha is a +2. Summons itself from the hand, gets a free monster from the deck, and then adds another card to the hand.

Blake
The only currently notable thing here is that Zeta is the 6th good generic level 7. BRD, Yazi, BRMD, CWSD, Odd-Eyes Meteorburst, and now this guy. Arcanite is also pretty generic now.
CLG Klavier
Odd-Eyes MeteorvurstI read it as Meteowurst no regrets
玄魔の王
I read it as Meteowurst no regretsSo did I, until I remembered b and v are right side-by-side. Overall this Synchro does best to mess up Xyz, since they'll come back less Materals, and that forces players to put their Xyz on DEF. It can also be used like Galaxy-Eyes to dodge battle traps, and adds things like BTH et al to that list.
Slinky
Alphas effect is dumb Zeta is sooooo good. Yet another good level 7 sync
Spinny
if you go second and you use alpha on the last monster they summoned you can be all like "trololol"
Bringerofcake
so if I'm reading this right, if one of either Alpha or Driver survive until the end of the turn, you can dig for the other Psy-Frame card, sort of like Ulti-Kannahawk's search effect? ~British Soul~
One thing I was saying to my friends is that realistically Driver is most likely going to be a 1-of seeing as you can grab him from anywhere and running more could be cloggy. Tinkerer
Oh hey, another set of monsters based on Greek letters. I believe this archetype is gonna have all nomi monsters with the emphasis on Driver for the Synching and that Beta and Gamma are going to be levels 2 and 3 for further Synching capabilities. It's also nice to see a Synchro with a Graveyard effect. Gale Dogra can dump it for either Ultimate Axon Kicker or for its own effect.
evil cucumber
So Zeta 2nd eff isnt OPT. I wonder what could happen if there is a Light Inprisoning face up. Can you keep on trying to activate it?

Can you keep on trying to activate it?As long as there's some change in gamestate from it, yes. If you're doing it uselessly with no reason, it's a controlled loop and you need to cut that sheet out and quit stalling the game.
Pchi
Oh, Wikia has Alpha worded this way now: Cannot be Normal Summoned/Set. Must be Special Summoned by acard effect, and cannot be Special Summoned by other ways. When your opponent Normal or Special Summons a monster(s) while you control no monsters: You can Special Summon this card from yourhand and 1 "PSYFrame Driver" from your hand, Deck, or Graveyard, and if you do, add 1 "PSYFrame" card from your Deck to your hand, except "PSYFrame Gear Alpha". Monsters Special Summoned by this effect are banished during the End Phase. Which means they don't need to be banished in order to you to get the search. Thank god.
