Looks like we were wrong about what Attribute these guys would be, but then again they might get other members with different ones.

But it's unlikely.

Alpha is a walking Level 7 enabler into Zeta (or whatever generic Level 7 Synchros exist), which is still kinda cool.

Only problem is that you can't have monsters out when you SS it, and it relies specifically on Driver; but it can be from anywhere so still nice.

(I'm iffy on it being a Nomi monster, but I can probably see why, given it's insta-boss)

Zeta can bounce away threats for a while, and recycle used PSYFrame cards if it's in the Graveyard; probably recycle Alpha and make this again if needed.

Being generic is still nice though, if only for its first effect.

Interested in what else they have going for them now.

I read it as Meteowurst

no regrets

So did I, until I remembered b and v are right side-by-side.

Overall this Synchro does best to mess up Xyz, since they'll come back less Materals, and that forces players to put their Xyz on DEF. It can also be used like Galaxy-Eyes to dodge battle traps, and adds things like BTH et al to that list.

Oh hey, another set of monsters based on Greek letters.

I believe this archetype is gonna have all nomi monsters with the emphasis on Driver for the Synching and that Beta and Gamma are going to be levels 2 and 3 for further Synching capabilities.

It's also nice to see a Synchro with a Graveyard effect. Gale Dogra can dump it for either Ultimate Axon Kicker or for its own effect.

So Zeta 2nd eff isnt OPT. I wonder what could happen if there is a Light Inprisoning face up. Can you keep on trying to activate it?

As long as there's some change in gamestate from it, yes.

If you're doing it uselessly with no reason, it's a controlled loop and you need to cut that sheet out and quit stalling the game.

Oh, Wikia has Alpha worded this way now:

Cannot be Normal Summoned/Set. Must be Special Summoned by acard effect, and cannot be Special Summoned by other ways. When your opponent Normal or Special Summons a monster(s) while you control no monsters: You can Special Summon this card from yourhand and 1 "PSYFrame Driver" from your hand, Deck, or Graveyard, and if you do, add 1 "PSYFrame" card from your Deck to your hand, except "PSYFrame Gear Alpha". Monsters Special Summoned by this effect are banished during the End Phase.

Which means they don't need to be banished in order to you to get the search. Thank god.
