[spoiler=ahem'']

YAAAAAAAYYYY!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Okay enough

AG Reactor Dragon: 4 effects in 1 card . . . well okay, and i like the pop*ing at the end of damage step.

AG Gadget: So they actually create a bridge between AG and Gadget, last effect kinda meh, but not sure, also works perfectly with AGRD.

AG Catapult: Welp, the only cards pop*d in my mind upon seeing are: Brifu, Gold/Silver Gadget. So Brifu Seraphinite dump GK's and Tricklown, then pop Tricklown to SS AG Gadget then NS AGRD (if you open him) or atleast Brifu gives you extra summon since AG is slow rn. Gold/Silver because of . . . pop* SS AG from deck then Gold/Slilver float just like that.

Is it just these 3 cards or there'll be another more AG support?

Gadget is relevant because it lets you machine dupe any gadget from your deck and get 3 of it so that you're able to get 2 r4 plays.

There'll be more cards than just these three, but we'll find them out later.

GO GO GADGET METAGAME!

*ahem*

this looks like amazing support, but it raises the question (at least for me) when are we getting the ancient gear cards from the anime? they were kind of generic, but they'd still be a welcome addition to the ancient gear set.

my favorite card here though is catapult it's clearly made to pop geartown/the new gadgets, and the potential plusses from gear gadget are gonna be amazing naturia gears when?

We'll probably get Arc-V's AG printed on the next Booster SP after SPDS, which is centered around Fusion. Hopefully they can also synergize with the new supported released here. And please, Konami, give us a searcher for all AG cards, or at least the S/T, this new Spell needs to be set up as early as possible.

This... this is just so DAMN beautiful. The best part is is that the 500 ATK of AG Gadget means you can search it with AG Box. It now has a AG target other than Knight.

Hey man Machine Dupe on Ancient Gear Cannon to make Herald of Pure Light and trigger Ancient Gear Box again was the shiznizzles

In retrospect Ancient Gear Gadget was such an obvious card to make as support for Gadjiltron, yet somehow I never even imagined the name, let alone effects

Fun note but looks like Ancient Gear Catapult can pop itself and then banish itself from graveyard if for some reason you don't have Geartown/don't want to deal with potential Geartown bricks

Honestly don't think Reactor Dragon will be all that useful but is cute I suppose

If you actually manage to tribute both a Gadget and an Ancient Gear for Reactor Dragon, a 3k double attacker with piercing AND an Armades effect can be pretty scary. Ancient Gear Gadget has an interesting effect, in that you don't actually have to run the Gadgets to effectively use it. However, it'll generate the same ruling doubts as Galaxy-Eyes did. Is Ancient Gear Gadget both an Ancient Gear monster AND a Gadget monster?

that was never a ruling issue and still isn't here wtf

That's just common funking sense.

The point is (flavor) for OG Gadjiltrons and (practicality) Machine Duplication into any 3 gadgets.

Yes of course it is. The second effect is for machine dupe.

Catapult can't target itself, much like MST can't.

3k Armades with popping that you can summon off Geartown. Why not?

My thoughts

Catapult looks like an apology for those ruling changes regarding Field Spells that screwed over Geartown. It's searchable by Ancient Gear Drill, and the Grave effect means that even if they pop it you still get some utility out of it. The token is a bit random though and I'm confused by it. I'd assume you're supposed to use it for Tribute fodder... Seems a bit janky to me.

Any 2 gadgets with the same name

im surprised by this... and the fact our dear Gadjiltron hasn't showed up yet

when i see the bigger card art on reactor dragon on Org i notice that the "reactor" piece have a peculiar design on it. its too smooth and sleek  in comparative with the rest of steampunk theme the A.G accustomed to. then it remind me "that thing is similar with Odd-Eyes Dragon's / Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon's Chest piece huh? (more like the former though)"

I feel like they are trying too hard with these.

Reactor is cute and all, but Gears don't really have a lot that grants multiple Summons in a single turn; this makes it awkward.

Gadget can act like somewhat of a Cold Wave, depending on what your up against, but.... It's a given.

Catapult is bonkers.

Chain Summoning with Red/Green/Yellow?

You'll mostly be summoning it off Geartown anyway. And if you do get both the tribute summon effects, you're probably gonna OTK anyway considering that Reactor can pop Geartown.

I wish AG Gadget had some sort of self summon. It seems a little bit awkward at the moment/too reliant on other cards.

So Catapulting a Geartown is by far the easiest way to bring out a R9. And it doesn't even burn your Normal Summon... Good to know. Though I half wish Reactor Dragon was either level 8 (Trade-in) or level 10 (Trains).

I like how duping an Ancient Gear Gadget essentially gives all your monsters an Armedes effect for the turn.

Reactor also can pop your own spells/traps which I probably find more amusing than I should. Metalfoe + Ancient Gear?

OMFG!!! Reactor should totally have been Level 10, just so that the Ancient Gear Structure deck can be an apology for delaying Trains so long. That would've been really really sweet. Damn I hope they make a Level 10 one now.

This is some really cool stuff. Reactor Dragon is an awesome boss monster IMO. Swings for fucktons of damage and pops stuff. It's a bit unfortunate it doesn't have any protections, but it might be too strong if it did. Gadget is neat. Does Geartown not miss the timing if you pop it with Catapult? I'd have thought it would, but people seem to be saying it doesn't. If so, that's really good. Ancient Gears might finally get to be a real deck!
