I don't think the people here are sadistic/etc, and the only way to get the Cores out of him would be to cut him open, or take it from his Daedalus Weapon, which is currently inside him (He can "absorb" it into the automaton part of his body). He wouldn't bend to demands, and I don't think anyone would resort to torture/extreme brutality. Also, the ones running his body are essential to just staying alive, while the ones in his weapon aren't up for bargaining, due to the value (besides just cost/power), and what it means to him.
