So who cares if you have to spend the game shooting walls/etc? There is no penalty for doing so.'Course, you get like +100 points or something if you actually shoot an opposing player, but still. Ahh, so THATS what determins your Inkling's gender/skin color. I was still under the impression it would be random, which would be pretty sily. And I'm going to assume that in said tutorial, they give you bare-bones versions of existing weapons/etc, and then the cool versions are what you have to buy later. K. The ones who preorder the game at Gamestop (I DID YAY!) will receive a special code to unlock special Inkling boy, girl and squid costumes for Super Smash Bros Wii u and 3ds! There are also gonna be Squidfests, huge global events that have special matches. The first one will be from June 20th to June 21st! At the Squid Research Labs they also announced that much more downloadable FREE content will be available post-launch, these include new maps, gears and weapons! (THE HYPE!). Also it's right here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kQsZPYB0vMw It basically confirmed that the game was never meant to come out in May but they decided to cut content to get it out earlier and just patch the rest of the content in later, which is why the rumored size of the data on the disc was so low. Still no 4 player offline multiplayer. And unless I just missed it, was there even private matchmaking? Praying to god we get LAN support... The free updates are all planned for summer at least, so it won't be all that long. Cool that there's gonna be a payload gamemode with that tower, too.
