I really wish it didn't require 2 discards for its first effect.  Anyway, discuss.

That's pretty cool...

It's got a buff of being able to summon the equipped monster.  It being level 8 and DARK makes it a prime Allure/Trade-in target.  It doesn't have any unwieldy summoning conditions either.  It doesn't seem gamebreaking because it has that double discard cost; again, it just seems cool.  It's basically Snatch Steal with a body and a discard 2 cost.

That's actually really dirty.  Like holy sheet that's so dirty.  I love it.  I don't really care fore the fact that you have to wait til the end phase to summon what you stole, but I guess that's fair enough

UUUUUUGH, I want it. I want it a lot. Even with the heavy discard that's funking BRUTAL. What can run this? What decks restore their hand advantage and can drop a level on on the normal summon (though special summoning it is obviously even better)

So, it's a worse Granel. I mean, it's already a tribute summon monster which is a knock against it; but basically Granel's better in a lot of ways, even though it only hits synchros.

i mean, it's LV8 so you can Trade-In it and then CotH it, or DARK to Allure it and then Escape from the Darrk Dimension.

As for the double discard cost... I dunno, BA tech maybe?

It needed 2 discards in the manga, so it's more a case of leaving it authentic.

I know that, but you could say it was also maybe a case of Konami not wanting to take a risk and lowering the discard cost, which given its type, attribute, etc seems like a good idea.

Even with the heavy discard that's funking BRUTAL.

However, it having to target on top of it's 2 discard cost really hurts it.

Yeah, the discard 2 cost certainly hurts it.

So, even though the double discard was in the manga, what would've been a reasonable cost for the effect, or what would you have done to the effect to make it worth it, or what do you think would be a good deck to run it in?

Because it's getting tiring of hearing you all complain without suggesting alternatives or figuring out a strategy.

Some people like to complain for the sake of complaining though.

Given the type, attribute, etc. I'd say discard 2 is reasonable. (at least it didn't have some sort of protection effect), though if it weren't for the first line of my post, I'd have retracted my complaint. (I'll probs still though)

Oh ok.

Card needs a Valhalla-esque Summoning card that doesn't conflict with the current popular Decks, in order to expand the number of places it can be ran with less chance of being deader than a doornail. Alternatively, just make it 1 discard. To be safe, add a no-SS clause to re-kill the card's playability because 1 discard is probably not enough a cost with CotH and friends.

What to run it in? It says discard, so F A B L E D S. In its current form, maybe some sort of BEWD Deck because of Trade In and CotH. It probably wouldn't be worth it at all, but for the sake of TEH LOLZ sure, do that.

Okie; well, you could lower the cost to 1 card. Or you could keep the cost, but make the effect non-targeting. Whichever is more fair in the long run.

It would turn every card in hand into a free permanent Change of Heart.

This is a Level 8 Tribute monster that you otherwise have to dedicate a portion of your deck to with Armageddon Knights and Calls of the Haunted with a delayed Change of Heart effect that requires it to equip the monster first (and hopefully, the monster can be targeted). Not to mention, you have to hope that nothing gets disrupted in this whole process of trying to equip a monster to this guy. If this was an easily-accessible Extra Deck monster or a Kozmo ship, I'd understand the concern, but it isn't.

I haven't complained about the nerfs to Mars precisely because he actually Summons himself without consuming your hand in the process.

Before I state what I wanted them to do with this, what are your plans or strategy for this guy?  What suggestions or ideas do you have for squeezing as much utility out of Jupiter as possible?  These are not trick questions; I legitimately want to know if you have any semi-viable strategy for this guy.

Make no mistake that I like that they're finishing the Planets regardless, and I had no actual intention to raise hell over his cost.
